Alright so Halloween's basically the week after this coming week so to prep up I went ahead and did a one-shot where the three pairings watch a scary movie... well one could say it almost qualifies as one if you look at the title hehe.
To be honest I actually was going to make the story involve an actual horror plot to the movie they would see but then I realized something... Tails and Cream are way too young to see R-rated stuff with a bunch of blood, gore and slash. So I had to rewrite half of it so it pertains to a bit of that aspect mixed in with the usual mush romance hehe. Don't worry next time I'll probably age them up along with the others so they're old enough to see an R-rated movie, but regardless I think it turned out pretty well, but anyways it's up to you if you enjoy it.
I do hope you enjoy it though so let's dive right in!

Scary Movie Time (Somewhat)
Knuckles the Echidna was currently taking a nap atop the Master Emerald fulfilling his lifelong duty of protecting the large gem along with its servers, the Chaos Emeralds. His light snoring was evident that he was in deep slumber with a small smile on his face. While the hard surface of the jewel wasn't very comfortable, the guardian didn't mind it since he's been doing it for some time and at this point he found it very soft. If anything that was his body adapting to it since he's been doing this for almost his entire life now.
That wasn't the only thing that very soft.
There was an even softer thing he felt on his being.
And it wasn't an object such as a blanket or pillow.
It was another being.
Another echidna.
Currently sleeping on top of Knuckles with their own smile of their face.
This was Tikal the Echidna, born thousands of years ago and having been resurrected some time ago. How they both met was a long story but to cut it short, they got along very well and are officially dating given that the echidna princess was happily cuddling on her emerald guardian.
The two were sleeping in content as the sun began setting in the horizon away from the floating atoll of Angel Island. It was definitely a peaceful scenery right now. No loud noise, no disturbance, no Eggman or Rouge attack.
Just the calm wind blowing amongst their fur and the nice feeling of an incoming evening.
BUZZ! BUZZ!
Knuckles cracked open an eyelid hearing the soft vibration nearby. His violet eye looked towards a small device settled near them which had a small screen on it and had a yellow exterior. A small antenna protruded from its side indicating that it was some form of communicator.
Grunting a bit before looking over the smaller slumbering echidna on him with a smile, he reached over the device with one hand and clicked on the screen.
"YO KNUCKLES!"
The red echidna winced from how loud the voice was and glared at the communicator. "Not so loud hedgehog…! Tikie's asleep…!" Knuckles whispered angrily while letting out a yawn. "What do you want?"
Sonic scratched his head timidly. "Oh my bad, didn't mean to disturb you sleeping lovebirds hehe."
Knuckles growled lightly, soft enough to not wake up Tikal. "Shut it, but really what do you want?"
"Well here's the thing. Halloween's a few days away and to prep up why don't we-."
"SONIIIIIC~!"
Sonic and Knuckles winced at the loud cheerful voice in the background from the blue hedgehog's end. This was enough to stir the echidna princess as she shifted on top of Knuckles. "Mhmmgh… Knuckie…" Tikal slowly opened her eyes to reveal her beautiful ocean-colored orbs. She looked up sleepily at Knuckles. "What's *YAWN* going on?"
"Sorry Tikie, it's just Sonic calling and apparently he and Amy were being too loud." Knuckles informed looking back at the communicator. "Now you done it."
"Hey don't look at me I didn't even know-ACK!" Sonic was tackled by a pink blur falling to the ground. Smooching sounds can be heard from below and fortunately the two echidnas weren't able to see the two hedgehogs. Knuckles and Tikal let out soft laughs to one another.
Eventually Sonic and Amy reappeared, though the rose-colored girl hoisted the Blue Blur up by his arms as he was lost in gaga land with lip marks all over his face, his eyes swirly. Amy giggled at this. "Ah Sonic you're being so cute again~."
"Hello Amy." Tikal waved at her. Amy looked at them and gasped. "Oh hey Tikal and Knuckles! How's everything going and-OH MY GOODNESS WERE YOU TWO SLEEPING TOGETHER?! THAT'S SO CUTE!"
Knuckles and Tikal sweatdropped.
"Uhh it's great to see you to Amy. We were just taking a nap." Knuckles said.
"Yeah but I bet right in front of the setting sun with the emeralds glittering around you as if it was a honeymoon. KYAAAHH SONIC WHY CAN'T WE HAVE WHAT THEY HAVE~!" Amy shouted shaking Sonic back and forth.
"GW-W-WA-AH! A-A-A-M-M-Y S-S-T-O-OP!" Sonic shouted back. This caused the echidna couple to laugh nervously.
After the two composed themselves Sonic became aware once again and grinned at the two. "Now as I was saying, Halloween is in a couple of days and to get ready for it we were wondering if you two wanted to watch a movie with us?"
"…Hall-o…ween?" Tikal questioned cutely. Knuckles looked at her confused expression and chuckled. "It's a holiday in the modern world Tikie. Basically a lot of people celebrate it by dressing up as scary monsters and giving out candy." he explained. Tikal shook a bit from the 'scary monster' part. "D-Do y-you mean that people t-turn i-nto-."
"Oh no Tikal not like that!" Amy interjected. "Knuckles described what it is perfectly but for you to understand better, we'll have to wait until the day arrives."
"Oh, okay then." Tikal replied hugging Knuckles a bit tighter. The emerald guardian felt the warmness from it and his tail shook a bit.
"So yeah you two want to watch a movie with us?" Sonic asked again.
"Well…" Knuckles then felt Tikal's eyes on him.
He knew what it meant and even though he became insanely powerful as of late and took down many powerful beings while also able to bypass the super transformation's invincibility with a single punch… his strength was not enough to defeat this one challenge.
And he knew he couldn't defeat it no matter how hard he tried.
His head turned to her and… he already lost.
Sad puppy dog blue eyes stared back at him with Tikal's hands clasped to each other, hoping Knuckles would say yes.
He had to anyway as to not break her heart. He loved her too much to ensure that she would always be happy no matter what.
"Alright Sonic, we'll come right over then." Knuckles answered.
"Great!" Sonic cheered.
"Yay! We're gonna have an amazing time~!" Amy also added.
"So where are we meeting up?" the emerald guardian added.
"We're gonna be watching here at our place. We invited Tails and Cream and they said yes as well." the blue hedgehog stated.
"That is wonderful, so it will be like back then when we all went to the 'mall' and 'Twinkie Park' correct?" Tikal asked.
Knuckles laughed a bit. "It's called Twinkle Park Tikie and yeah, it'll be like before."
"That is very wonderful!" she replied.
"Alright so we'll be starting in a bit. Make sure you two bring some blankets and pillows for yourselves. Also come in your pj's. Oh and if you want bring some snacks!" Amy said.
"Will do." Knuckles said with a thumbs up.
"Catch you two later!" Sonic did a peace sign then disconnected.
Knuckles sat up with Tikal moving herself to straddle him. "Well let's get ourselves ready then."
"Okay Knuckie! So what will we be taking?" Tikal asked. The emerald guardian shrugged. "Whatever they asked I guess. Let's go find some blankets and pillows."
The two then got off the Master Emerald and headed down the altar towards their small dome house nearby to grab the necessary things to head over to Sonic and Amy's place.
At Sonic and Amy's house…
DING!
"Oh they must be here!" Amy said to herself as she ran over the front door. Opening it she saw both Knuckles and Tikal standing there with the emerald guardian carrying a blanket and two pillows. The echidna princess herself carried a salad bowl with her. "So glad you two came and wow Tikal those pjs are so cute~! Here let me get that bowl from you."
Tikal blushed lightly curling her peach-colored quills after the pink hedgehog took the bowl. "T-Thank you Amy…" she replied. The orange echidna was wearing white wool pajamas with a long-sleeved sweatshirt and pants along with white slippers. It was moderately fluffy all around with a picture of a sheep in front of the sweatshirt. Lastly Tikal didn't have her headpiece, necklace or wrappings. "I like your pjs as well."
"Thanks! I got them for tonight!" Amy stated looking at her own attire which consisted of a red silk night shirt with matching slim pants with several heart patterns on both pieces. Fluffy pink slippers with a heart on each finished her look. "Well I mainly got it for Sonic but he says whatever I wear is fine, but I know that's not good enough hehe. Anyway come on in you two."
"Pardon the intrusion." Tikal said with a bow while Knuckles grunted in approval as the two echidnas went in.
'Least she didn't say anything about mine.' Knuckles thought. He came in a simple purple long-sleeved thermal with loose black checkered pants and brown slippers. 'Last thing I want is-.'
Knuckles eye twitched immediately upon seeing the pictures on the wall. "I see you're… very attached to the hedgehog."
Even Tikal was surprised at all the frames around the walls of both the Blue Blur and rose-colored girl. Some showed wholesome moments such as hugging or a kiss on the cheek, but others… well Amy was very happy she finally had Sonic in her clutches after years of chasing him. They weren't inappropriate which is fine but with one picture showing Amy looking at a sleeping Sonic with a wanting look in her eyes as an example, it's hard not to overlook what is technically normal in some of the pictures.
"Erm… I love the decorations you have." Tikal meekly said.
"Oh why thank you! Yeah I want to show everyone how much Sonic and I both adore each other! I mean I spent YEARS trying to get that boy and I will ensure everyone knows of our deep connection!" Amy said with a strange smile… that grew bigger as she giggled maniacally to herself. "I love him he loves me. Simple as that!"
Knuckles and Tikal looked at each other then back at her a bit nervous. "Well that's great to hear Amy and I'm sure blue boy is happy as well. Speaking of which where are-."
"FOUR!"
Suddenly a football was thrown to the direction of Knuckles and instinctively he caught it. "What the he-."
POW!
He got tackled by two bodies that rushed to him at the speed of sound. Tikal gasped in horror upon seeing Knuckles getting taken down while Amy sighed in annoyance. "Sonic how many times do I have to tell you to not play football in the house!"
"GET OFF ME YOU MORON!" Knuckles barked just as Sonic laughed at him. "What's up Knux? Hey Tikal! Glad you two came over!"
"Glad I'm not about to throw you out the window yet!" Knuckles countered slowly getting up with Tikal helping him.
"Ah relax Knuckles we're just having some fun. It's been some time when we did something together with you besides the mall date. Also hello Tikal it's great to see you here as well!" Tails added also getting up. Tikal waved at them nervously unsure of what to say after seeing them tackle her boyfriend. Sonic and Tails were dressed similar to Knuckles with the Blue Blur wearing a simple white shirt with blue pajama pants and red slippers while Tails had a light gray button-down long sleeve with loose pants and black slippers.
"Yeah it's been a while but I don't expect to be pummeled down just for the sake of a football." the emerald guardian retorted.
"Chill out Knuckles we're just playing." Sonic said grabbing the football from Knuckles. "Anyways c'mon help us choose the movie!" the blue hedgehog grabbed Knuckles and dragged him away from the girls. "H-HEY I CAN WALK ON MY OWN!"
Tikal was about to reach out for him but Amy intervened with her own hand. "It's okay Tikal, let him go. You know how our boys get hehe."
"Well okay Amy, but still that was not nice for them to tackle Knuckie like that." Tikal replied.
"It's fine, I mean before you were resurrected they tend to act like that all the time and they still do. They just want Knuckles to be more social, I mean he's been stuck on an island by himself for almost his entire life so he needs things like this to get him closer to everyone."
The echidna princess gave out a sigh after being explained all that. "Yes that is true but I still believe that what Sonic and Tails did was still not the correct way. Even then Knuckie has been very sociable… at least with me however."
"That's because you're his girlfriend Tikal. Of course he's going to be very sweet to you and for good reason. Now that he isn't the last of his kind anymore he's been more open and outgoing, though he still does get angry at times." Amy replied.
"Hehe that is true but I still enjoy that he has a fun time, and you are right Amy I guess I can let this pass for today. Also is Cream here as well?"
"HERE I AM~!" a sweet young voice was heard from the kitchen as the young rabbit came out skipping towards them. Her pajamas were very adorable which consisted of a fluffy rainbow-colored button-down shirt with matching pants and unicorn slippers. A multi-colored bow was on each of her ears with a unicorn horn headband atop her head.
She looked very colorful indeed.
"Hello Ms. Tikal~! It's so nice for you to come!" Cream said cheerfully.
"Hello Cream and the pleasure is all mine. Oh my goodness you look really cute in all that!" Tikal beamed.
"Thank you Ms. Tikal~! Since Halloween is in several days I decided to go with something colorful and bright unlike all the scary things that happen during Halloween. I'm glad you like it!" the young doe said.
"Yeah Cream went all out for today's movie night. It was basically Sonic's idea for the most part and he hasn't told us what we're going to be watching, but if anything he wanted all of us together for it." Amy stated.
"Yeah and I'm helping out in making the desserts! Would you like to help us Ms. Tikal?" Cream asked the orange echidna.
"Oh I would love to Cream! I would love to learn more on how to make more desserts to please Knuckie in the future. Already he is loving the choco-chip cookies I make for him and thank you once again Amy for the help!" Tikal said.
"Ah it was nothing Tikal and don't worry about it. Anyway let's go prep up before the boys end up destroying the house or something hehe." Amy said as she led Cream and Tikal to the kitchen.
A half hour later…
"Okay so everyone ready for movie night?" Sonic said with a grin. The group cheered in approval sitting on the L-shaped couch with a table in front of them full of snacks such as popcorn, cookies, cupcakes, a cake, candy, the salad bowl and several drinks such as sodas and water. Sonic raised up a dvd box. "We're going old school here so we're not gonna stream anything because it might buffer on us."
"Sounds good to me. So what are we watching?" Amy said.
"Well we had to go through several movies and take out some that I know Tails and Cream can't watch because they're too young. Knuckles found this one to be mushy but regardless we also took into account Tikal's pure nature. Aside from that it also fits into the spirit of Halloween as well!" Sonic explained then moved the box forward for them to see. "So we settled with this one!"
Amy's happy expression was raised even higher upon seeing it. "Oh my Chaos I love that movie! I always wanted us to watch it together during this time of year!"
Tikal looked at the box cover. "Monster Marriage?" she asked looking up at Knuckles who looked away timidly. "Knuckie…"
"EEEEE TAILS THEY LOOK SO CUTE~!" Cream shouted hugging the yellow fox for dear life who struggled to breathe. "Y-Yeah-ACK! T-They a-re… C-Cream…"
"Hehe I figured." Sonic turned the dvd box to himself to look at it. A holographic picture of a male mobian wolf and a female mobian ladybug was shown on it with the two wearing wedding attire, but as the blue hedgehog turned it to the side their appearance changes. The wolf suddenly turns into a human with a terrified expression while the ladybug turns into a rotting carcass with parts of her face decaying away and was missing an eye. She watched the human with happiness however like in the first picture. "It does have some scary in it but shouldn't be that bad for us."
"Okay Sonic now put it in and start it! I want the others to see how everything is played out!" Amy said just as Sonic placed in the disc and walked over to the pink hedgehog. The two sat in between the others with Tails and Cream snuggling amongst one another on their left sharing a blanket with a bowl of popcorn while Knuckles and Tikal sat on the right, the echidna princess on the emerald guardian's lap with a blanket over them and a bowl mixed with salad and candy. Sonic and Amy got comfortable with the pink hedgehog resting her head on his chest as Sonic raised the remote and started the movie. While also grabbing desserts for himself.
"Sonic, there are some jump scares in this so I'm hoping they're not too bad for Cream and Tikal." Amy stated.
"Relax Ames it's a kid's movie. If Cream and Tails weren't here we would've watched 'Night of the Undead Giant Spiders' instead."
Amy's face turned into dread. "Heck no! You know I hate spiders!"
Sonic smirked in response. "That's why we didn't go with it… but we're still gonna watch it sometime this month regardless hehe."
The rose-colored girl pouted and simply cuddled onto her blue hedgehog. "Yeah yeah, we'll see."
…
…
"James where are we going?" a mobian ladybug asked a mobian wolf as they quickly walked through a small forest. The scenery was vibrant with the sun shining and several types of flowers and trees all around, although the further they went in the darker the lighting became.
"Hailee, there's no point in reasoning with them if they don't want us to marry. What's so bad about us being together even if we're different species? To them our love doesn't matter and it's all about keeping our bloodlines pure which is completely dumb!" the wolf named James responded angrily.
Hailee watched him in concern, looking back at the town they lived in getting smaller. "I still believed we should have talked with them more about it. They could've been convinced."
"Hah, like my parents would ever agree to it. At least yours are fine with it but my idiot of a father thinks otherwise." James remarked as the two walked further into the forest. "Come on Hailee we shouldn't be too far now."
The pair kept on walking until the scenery turned eerily dark with the trees looking ominous and some of the fauna losing its natural beauty. This scared Hailee a bit causing her to hold James' hand tighter as the two approached a small clearing in which the moonlight casted its faint glow, the only light visible within the vicinity.
"Here's a good spot to stay away from all those misguided dumbnuts." James then stopped and turned to Hailee. "I'm sorry I had to bring you here…"
The ladybug shook her head. "It's okay James, as long as we're together…"
"Until death do us part, but even in death thy shall stay together." they said to each other.
A black mist suddenly engulfing the two and caused the scenery to turn into black.
"What happened to the couple?" Tikal asked as she nibbled on her popcorn.
"Don't know but hopefully they do come out alright. They look so cute together!" Cream replied hugging her blanket closer.
"They should be alright, I mean from what the hedgehog told me they don't-."
"Knuckles! Don't spoil it!" Sonic scolded.
"Don't be loud Sonic. The next part's coming up." Amy whispered.
"Oh boy wonder what happens next?" Tails said eating a cookie.
The scene returns with the mist having disappeared from sight leaving no trace. The same glow of the moon still shone upon the clearing to which the pair was, their bodies lying on the floor.
"Mhgh…" a groan came off a sleeping James as his eyes fluttered open and he slowly got up to see his surroundings. His vision was blurry but as he blinked some more did his vision return to him. "W-What… happened…?" he said scratching his head in confusion.
His eyes widened however, shock all over his face. Looking at his arm quickly.
Instead of fur… he had bare tan skin.
Instead of sharp claws… he had short nails.
"What the-?!" he stood abruptly and looked around quickly. His gaze took hold of a puddle and he quickly ran to it.
His skin paled at what he was seeing… bare skin all over with only a patch of fur on top of his head.
Or in this case hair.
His hands felt all over his now smooth face and he couldn't believe it. Placing a finger to his lips to see short canines instead of his usual fangs, his slitted pupils now seen as round ones, and looking behind to see that his tail is gone.
All in all, he looked completely different.
"What the heck happened to me?!" he shouted. Only to then realize another thought. "Where's Hailee?"
"James."
His ears heard her voice very close by as he turned around.
Seeing Hailee's face so close to his… but part of her skull was showing, one of her eyes was missing and her long flowing hair now all ragged.
"AAAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAHHHH!" Cream and Tikal screamed loudly as they hid their face into their boyfriends' chest.
"Shh shh Cream it's okay don't be scared." Tails did his best to calm down the young doe.
"Tikie shh relax my love." Knuckles panicked hugging the smaller echidna as she shook from the ladybug's appearance.
Sonic and Amy remained unfazed by this, but then again they already saw it as they nonchalantly sipped their drinks. "I had a feeling this would happen Sonic." Amy said.
"I told you this is a kid's movie. Heck this is nothing compared to the more adult ones." the Blue Blur replied.
"Yeah but still it frightened Cream and Tikal… can't stay mad at you though and good thing Tails and Knuckles are there for them."
"Exactly Ames." Sonic then hugged Amy closer as she giggled. "Don't tell me you're scared Soniku."
"Maybe." Sonic grinned back in response.
Cream and Tikal eventually settled on their part as the two looked back at the next part of the movie. It took some time but Tails and Knuckles were able to calm them down and if anything they didn't miss out on much. The character named James simply ran away screaming in fright from Hailee who turned into a zombie ladybug.
"K-Knuckie, I d-did not expect t-this…"
"Don't worry Tikie, you're safe." Knuckles curled further around Tikal with the latter grasping his forearms tighter in response as they gazed at the TV.
"T-Tails, this doesn't look cute anymore." Cream muttered.
"Just wait a little longer Cream, you'll eventually like it." Tails encouraged. The young rabbit clutched her blanket closer and leaned further into the yellow fox, causing Tails to blush at the more intimate contact.

…
James struggled against a battle he was currently in. The mobian wolf was still in human form and if anything had several scratches and bruises on him due to the fight. His opponent was big and large with an advantage over James.
This opponent was familiar to James as the two duked it out with long rapiers.
This opponent… was his father, an older mobian wolf.
"I cannot believe you would stoop this low James. You become a pathetic human and for what?! To stay with a worthless girl that is undead for Pete's sake?!" his father shouted as the two continued to swing their swords at each other. "I should have kept you in the basement where you belong."
James growled and clashed his weapon with his father's, their gazes seething at one another. "She isn't a worthless girl! I realized that even if she is undead she is still the beautiful Hailee I fell in love with!" the wolf turned human pushed more against his father and swung his rapier across causing the latter to dodge back. "I don't care if I became a human, all I care about is being with Hailee for the rest of my life!"
Hailee who was in a metal cage next to them began tearing up in her single eye. "R-Really James…"
"AWWW THAT IS SO CUTE~!" Cream gushed at the scene before her. The young doe's fearful nature now turned into one of happiness with Tails grinning at her energy. "Told you."
"Knuckie look look! He still loves her even if she is not truly alive!" Tikal squealed to the emerald guardian. Knuckles smirked at the scene. "Hehe yeah, at least you're liking the movie now."
Tikal then cupped Knuckles' face catching his attention as violet eyes looked into sapphire ones. "Would you… still love me if I remained a spirit?"
Knuckles was surprised by this. I mean he did see her as an orb of light back then who helped them out, but even before he didn't think of her that way.
However his heart spoke for him and he gave a smile to her. "I would still love you even if you remained one Tikie. Your devotion to the Master Emerald would allow me to sense you even if I cannot physically touch or see you. I will always love you regardless."
The echidna princess teared up and gave Knuckles the make out of a lifetime. Sonic and Amy watched smiling. "We should do that more often Sonic."
"I want to keep my face looking clean thank you, otherwise people wouldn't recognize me due to the lipstick hehe." Sonic joked as Amy playfully shoved him. "They still will you blue hedgehog."
"Tails, can we watch another movie like this? Pretty please~?" Cream asked the young fox with puppy dog eyes. It melted his heart and he fidgeted with a flushed face. "S-Sure Cream, we can w-watch another one."
"Yay!" the young rabbit hugged him tighter as she cuddled into him with brown eyes turned towards the movie again. Tails in the meantime looked down at her with a smile. "Anything for you Creamy Dreamy."
"NOOO!"
James' father has been defeated as the older man fell off a cliff with James himself standing above it. Seeing below at the vast ocean under the night and no signs of his father the wolf turned human let out a sigh and turned around, walking towards the metal cage.
With key in hand James inserted it into the lock and released Hailee who flew into him, hugging him tightly with the latter spinning her in the air. "Oh thank goodness you're okay James!"
"Don't worry Hailee I'm here." James replied. The pair leaned back a bit to look at each other and smiled, the mobian human reaching up to caress the rough texture of Hailee's exposed skull. "Even if we stay like this forever, I'll still love you no matter what."
Hailee smiled and leaned into his hand. "Thank you my love. I will always love you the same way and if the people see otherwise, I don't care."
Having settled that the two then began leaning closer and closer.
Not noticing a mist engulfing them but instead of pure darkness, it displayed various bright colors as it surrounded the pair.
James suddenly began to grow fur on his body with his human ears disappearing and his wolf ones returning atop his head with his face elongating to form his muzzle. Hailee's decaying skin began regenerating as her exposed skull started to seep back into rejuvenating flesh with her missing eye reforming into its socket. The mist encircled their bodies bringing them back to their natural selves and once the process was complete, did the pair's lips meet one another in a passionate exchange.
"KYAAAA~!" Amy, Cream and Tikal squealed at the results with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles covering their ears for how loud their girlfriends were being.
"Jeez any louder will you." Sonic said.
"Cream I'm like right here you know." Tails added.
"Man next time I should bring ear plugs whenever Tikie watches stuff like this." Knuckles stated.
The scene switched over to underwater with James' father slowly descending into the darkness. His eyes were slowly closing as he realized he was defeated.
But instead of feeling sorrow for losing against his son… he held a smile on his face.
'You're a brave and strong man James. I'm very sorry for all that I have done… take care of Hailee… and be happy my son.'
His eyes closed for good as the darkness below began to consume him.
But then a very large eel with incredibly sharp teeth and menacing red eyes rose up and opened its very large maw, engulfing James' father and the entire screen.
"AAAAHHHHH!"
Sonic, Tails and Knuckles covered their ears a second time upon hearing the girls screaming at the top of their lungs.
'I think the scariest thing right now is how loud Amy/Cream/Tikal are!' the three thought.
The movie eventually ended with James and Hailee getting married with the townsfolk cheering them on. Their parents, with James' mother his sole parent now, approved and welcomed it with open arms as James danced with Hailee in the party after their marriage ceremony. The final scene was of them looking out at the moon on the balcony as they stared into each other's eyes leaning once again. For a small second did their appearance change to what they were before: James being a human and Hailee being an undead.
"Wowie that was great!" Cream cheered jumping on Tails lap just as the credits began rolling.
"Hehe yeah, I love watching this movie and I figured the scary parts wouldn't stop you." Amy replied.
"I adored the movie. I would be interested in seeing their life after their marriage but I would assume it would be up to the person to decide their own futures." Tikal explained.
"Who knows Tikal, maybe they'd release a sequel." the pink hedgehog answered.
"Ooooo I would love that~! I do hope so, what do you think Tails." Cream turned to the yellow fox.
Only to see Tails snoozing.
"Uhhh Tails?" she said poking his cheek lightly. No response.
Amy chuckled. "I guess the poor fox is all tired out, but what about you Sonic what do you-." her eyes lowered in slight annoyance, giving a sigh. Just like Tails, Sonic is out cold as he snored lightly.
Tikal smiled at them. "If that is the case then Knuckie must be…" she looked up and her assumption was correct. She giggled upon seeing her emerald guardian fast asleep.
"And to think the boys would've stayed up all night, but I guess the movie tired them out." Amy said.
"You're right Amy and… *yawn* I think I'm… feeling the same." Cream said yawning.
Tikal's eyes began to droop as a wave of tiredness came to her. "Cream is correct *yawn*… I believe it is the time to rest."
Amy gave a soft smile and nodded. "Well alright, let me just turn off the lights."
Once the pink hedgehog did that the living room was nearly dark save for the light of the moon coming from the window. She settled next to Sonic and nuzzled into him, her olive eyes looking at the other two with Cream draping her blanket over Tails and Tikal nestling further into Knuckles' arms. She liked how each of them got comfortable with their special other.
"Well goodnight everyone." Amy said.
"Have a goodnight Ms. Amy and Ms. Tikal." Cream happily whispered.
"Pleasant slumbers to everyone." Tikal responded.
Eventually the girls fell asleep along with the guys, their movie night having ended but nonetheless was a success. Not only that but the movie itself last for three hours.
Enough time for a familiar mist to wiggle itself across the living room floor…

Sonic slowly began waking up, his vision blurry and making out the surrounding darkness with a pink blotch in front of him.
"Mhgh… what's… going…" he muttered. Closing his eyes tightly he reopened them once again and tiredly look straight ahead.
…
Into the red and yellow eyes of Possessed Amy, her wicked smile showing her terrifying sharp teeth.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Haha hopefully I got you with the last one where I added Possessed Amy. You know the one in Sonic X with that scary look when she gets controlled by a ghost lol.
Anyway basically this story will act as a step towards another one being made that relates to Halloween, so keep an eye out for that one which will arrive next weekend!
