A few minutes after arriving at Sunshine's house, Oskar was standing downstairs in the living room.
"Grandpa is in bed, he should wake up without any memories of tonight, right?" asked Sunshine.
"He won't remember a thing," said Oskar.
"So, I guess you have to make me forget too then," said Sunshine who was a little saddened by the thought.
"Actually, I was thinking of letting you keep your memories," said Oskar.
"I think we both could use someone to talk to once and a while," he said.
"You sure this isn't a trick so you can get my blood?" asked Sunshine with a teasing smile as she gave him a slight shove on the shoulder.
"Just so you know, I wasn't kidding about being afraid at the sight of blood," said Oskar who was also smiling.
"Wonder if something happened in your past that made you fear it," said Sunshine.
"I don't really know, I just haven't touched any in the last three-hundred years," said Oskar.
"Wow, I didn't think you were a day over two-hundred," said Sunshine, getting a laugh out of both of them. Unbeknownst to either of them, Count Horrificus had been watching through a cauldron in his office.
"You had to be more like me than what I wanted, didn't you, dear nephew?" asked Count Horrificus with a sigh.
"Including the troublesome family, you got involved with," he said before splashing the water to end the vision.
