-PART ONE OF THE FALL OF THE BOLTVENGERS QUADRILOGY- After the Boltvengers go back in time to save Earth, this alerts Maximus The Conqueror and he sends Markscaper to deal with them, before coming down himself to finish them off.

9. CH NINE: No Hope

-CHAPTER NINE - NO HOPE-

-BOLTVENGERS HQ HOSPITAL ROOM-

Primal's blood gets tested by Quartz

Quartz sighs at the results

"So, you were infected with something called Devil's Breath." Quartz explains

"Never heard of it." Primal explains

"It was probably from the smoke that got released yesterday at Times Square." Quartz explains

"And.."

"..it's slowly killing you." Quartz explains

"What?" Primal asks

"You're joking." Primal says

"I wish I was, Primal." Quartz says

"How do you think we can get an anti-serum?" Primal asks

"I might have to make something up. But it'll take a few days to get the right ingredients." Quartz explains

"Alright, I'll be back later." Quartz says

"I'll be gone for a bit, I'll be looking about how to make a cure, then getting the ingredients." Quartz explains

"Quartz, if I die.."

"..lead the team for me, okay?" Primal asks

"You won't die." Quartz explains

"I promise." Quartz adds

Primal smirked

Primal grabbed a tissue, coughing on to it

The tissue got covered with blood
