"The anti-serum is ready." Quartz explains
"Thank goodness." The rest say
"Let me break the bad news to him, in private." Quartz asks
"Go ahead, Quartz." Daniel says
Quartz walks out of his room, into where Primal is
"Is it ready?" Primal asks
Primal coughed
"Yes." Quartz says
Primal held his arm out for the injection
Quartz shows off the glass of the Devil's Breath Anti-Serum
"If we use it on you…"
"..there won't be enough for the rest of New York." Quartz explains
"What?" Primal asks
"Stop lying." Primal asks
Primal coughed once again
"You can come in now." Quartz explains
The rest of the Boltvengers, along with JCB and George walk in
"We couldn't beat him." Stun explains
"Next time, Stun." Primal says
Stun nods
Primal coughed again
Primal put his head down on his pillow
"Primal?" Aya asks
Primal opens his eyes
"I'm gonna miss you." Aya explains
"We all will." Aya explains
"We will beat him, for you." Aya says
Primal smiled, shutting his eyes again
The heart rate monitor beeped
And, again
And, again
Until..
It eventually flatlined
Everyone watched their friend die, in front of them.
Aya covers her face, as she begins to cry
Stun and Prox remove their glasses
Mark's visor showed tears flowing from eyes
