Maybe that bet was a shit idea?

Shepard woke up dazed, confused, and sick to his stomach, still in on the lounge's couch. Tali laid across the table, still asleep, Anya laid upside down on the couch, and Garrus, funnily enough, had his head in Penny's lap, snoring loudly. Penny was awake, and didn't seem to mind him, or have a hangover.

Shepard noticed a tattoo on Anya's arm he hadn't before, the words "All our times have come, here but now they're gone." were written in black letters across her right arm. He also noticed something about her T-shirt, he thought it was a political ad at first, but he noticed the name Senator Armstrong on the front. Mason faired about as well as everyone else, curled up in the fetal position on the couch.

As everyone gradually woke up, Garrus was the only one who didn't seem to be hungover, and Shepard distinctly remembered him being plastered the night before. "Garrus, how do you feel." Shepard asked him as he sat pleasantly on the couch. "Actually, fine, weirdly enough." He responded. "Actually, that was me." Penny said, sitting on the couch, also seeming perfectly fine, even though she had drank more than all of them last night. "My touch can stimulate bone marrow into rapidly generating muscle, bone, and other tissues, it can heal most injuries, including withdrawal." "There's got to be a catch though right?" James asked, taking a large swig of black coffee. "Well, it takes a lot out of the body, and causes people to fall asleep pretty fast, but I can heal multiple bullet wounds and broken bones in an hour or two." She clarified. "Me next." Tali said in a low voice, face still laid against the table. "Then me." Said Joker, who Shepard hadn't noticed was laying underneath the table. "I'll call off recruiting for today, get some rest." Zach said, quickly disappearing as fast as he appeared.

Penny picked Tali up, laying her against her side. Shepard saw the glow of her eyes fade as she fell asleep once more. "How long does it take to cure a hangover?" Garrus asked. "Around thirty to forty minutes, depending on how severe the level of prior intoxication was. Also, congrats James, you win the 500 credits." She said, looking over at James, who pumped his fist into the air unenthusiastically as he took another gulp of coffee.

After around an hour, Tali, and Joker were back up to their best selves, and it was Shepard's turn. Penny pulled him to her side, which felt like laying against a space heater. when she wrapped her arm around him, a pleasant warmth settled around him, like hypothermia setting in, and he faded out of consciousness.

He awoke around 35 minutes later, feeling like he took the best nap ever. He got up and let Ashley have a turn. He headed down to engineering to check on Tali, though it seemed empty with the rest of the crew gone. Come to think of it, he was weirded out by the fact that they were the only crew members aboard. He missed Traynor, who was probably off somewhere on the citadel playing Kepesh-Yakshi.

"Shepard, is there something you'd like to talk about?" She asked, turning around and leaning on the console. "Yeah, how do you feel?" "Like I've had the best sleep I've ever had since childhood. I take it we're going to be asking her for hangover cures very often?" "Definitely." He smiled and left her to her duties.
Tali hasn't changed a bit.
