THE GOD'S LEGACY Chapter 3
A/N:- So, finally, a new chapter! I had a busy week, so no time… anyway… on with the chapter! What do you guys want the pairing to be?

Percy was sitting on the edge of UA school's roof, one foot dangling in the air, the other curled up on the cement, a lit cigarette in his right hand, and his other hand was running through his luscious locks.

Nezu had offered him a haircut, and he had refused, saying that he would cut it himself.

And obviously he had lied. He had of course, cut the part that was overly long, but still, his hair came down to the bottom of his neck, and he had tied it into a bun.

He liked it.

A day ago, he had received the confirmation that he indeed was accepted into the school and had ranked first in the total test takers with 150 or 200 points, he didn't really remember.

Percy sighed and took out his phone, taking a look at the time. 2:13.

He sighed again, cursing himself for coming so early in the morning.

Nezu had explained that classes would be starting next day onwards, and Percy had shadow-traveled to the campus at 2 in the morning, just to find that no one was there. He scanned his id to the AI at the gate and then ran a few rounds. On the walls of the building.

10 rounds later, he sat down on the cemented ledge, lighting a cigarette, which was actually pretty difficult to get, given that he was still a minor. He had to persuade All Might to buy him 3 packs of the cancer sticks.

Now, he was scrolling through his contacts, namely:- "Rat-Satan", "Japanese Superman", "Eraser Dude", "Kendo Fat Hands", " 'Manly' Dude", and "Batman".

Percy sighed and put the phone away as he stood up, brushing his clothes.

He was wearing a white shirt under a black stylish jacket. He had black ripped pants on and black combat boots.

The pants and boots were a staple for him, almost like a uniform.

Speaking of uniforms, the UA uniform didn't fit him at all.

He sighed and extinguished the cigarette, prepared his bag and then jumped down the side of the school.

He landed gracefully on his feet and straightened, walking through the campus and admiring its beauty.

Few hours later, he went on his journey inside the university to find Class 1-A.

The door was enormous, and Percy was easily able to get into a class with a few students already in without hitting his head.

Percy recognized the red-haired dude and the birdman. The rest were completely new faces. There was a pink girl with yellow horns, and a man with a mask and eight arms. He didn't notice Kendo anywhere, and guessed that she might've been assigned to some other class.

He stood there and then walked behind the teacher's table, crouching next to a yellow sleeping bag.

"Hey Aizawa," He said cheerfully as the pro-hero popped his head out of the bag, opened one eye, and groaned.

"Good Morning, Jackson."

"So, you're sleeping?"

Aizawa nodded and pulled the zip back up. "Get a seat, Jackson, I'll emerge when I need to."

"Sure dude," Percy said and stood up, walking down the rows and picking a seat in the last row.

A soon as Percy sat down, he noticed that he had attracted numerous stares from the students all around.

Kirishima was the first one to speak to him. "Hey, man! Good to see you're in Class 1-A too! Of course you would be! You were so cool back then!"

Percy smiled and said, "Yeah, same to you! You were more heroic than I was!"

The redhead blushed. "You're being too appreciative."

"I mean it."

"What are you guys talking about?" The pink girl asked.

"Nothing, just the entrance exam!" Kirishima started and went on to speak an entire essay on Percy's manliness. Tokoyami had also joined in and so did the octopus, who had seen the demigod in action from afar and also helped the people in need.

Minutes later, more people entered, more people listened, and more people became surprised.

Percy sighed and slowly disappeared into the shadows, until a blonde boy from the rightmost corner of the room screamed, "Will you fucking extras please SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

That effectively shut the class down, but they started again, much to Percy's and Bakugo's annoyance.

Soon, the man with blue hair, whom Percy recognized to be Tenya Lida strode in, noticed the demigod, and immediately rushed to him, lecturing him about why he was not wearing his uniform.

Percy tried and failed to make him understand that he was given the wrong size.

Lida refused to have any of that.

Soon, a tall girl, about 5'9 with a high ponytail walked into the room and sat down next to Percy.

Percy smiled at her and she blushed, much to his confusion.

"You're the homeless hero, aren't you?" She asked.

Percy groaned as that drew a number of stares toward him. "Yeah, I guess…"

Lida looked at him, his stern expression softened. "I'm sorry for your losses.

"Don't mention it," Percy sighed and looked at the ring on his finger. "It did hurt to wake up in the future with all of your loved ones gone, but I came to terms with it."

"Pretty nice of you to wake up and just choose fighting villains, even though you were hunted," Shoji the octopus said.

"Well, I needed a purpose to live," Percy replied and fixed his hair. "I took to fighting crime, something I have been doing since I was ten."

There were a few shocked gasps around the room.

"You had a girlfriend?" Mina asked, her eyes on his gold ring.

"Yeah," He said with a wistful tone in his voice. "I did."

A few other students came in and settled down as the class quieted when a commanding voice boomed over the class.

Percy recognized Aizawa standing in his yellow sleeping bag, sipping juice from a straw as he unzipped the rest of his 'suit'.

"You guys take way too long to shut up," He said as he threw the empty packet into a dustbin in the corner of the room. "Time is important for us, you need to be rational."

He took out a mobile and pressed a few buttons as a series of lockers appeared on the walls with the students' names on them. "These contain your costumes, put them on and meet me at the training fields outside."

He walked out of the room and nobody did a thing. Finally Percy sighed and stepped through the locker room, not bothering to pick up his jumpsuit, knowing it was not going to be his size.

There was a shuffling of chairs behind him and he knew that the rest of the students were following.

He was first on the ground, walking towards Aizawa, who had noticed him.

They both walked towards each other as Eraserhead grunted a greeting, something that Percy responded to with a wave.

"So, you have multiple quirks?" Aizawa asked.

Percy nodded. "Hydrokinesis, Umrakinesis, Aerokinesis, Photokinesis… and some other things that I want you to see for yourself."

Aizawa nodded. "You have a lot of experience in practicing your powers, so we have decided to test you differently than the others, is that ok?"

Percy grunted in agreement and turned around to look at the approaching students. "Guess they're here."

Aizawa straightened himself and addressed the group in front of them. "Today, we'll be conducting a quirk assessment test, and before you interrupt me, I know that we'll be missing the orientation, but we don't have time for bullshit like that."

There were a few muted gasps as he ignored them and looked at Percy. "Jackson, you finished first in the practical exam, right? Then why don't you do the honors of starting our first test, the softball distance throw."

Percy nodded and grabbed a ball that Aizawa tossed in his direction, approaching a circle.

"Anything goes as long as you stay in the circle."

Percy nodded again and got into a pitcher's stance. He had no effective idea at the moment on how to use his powers to his advantage in this situation.

His jacket started to rise around as the air whipped around Percy, making his hair ripple. He cocked an arm back, and threw it forward with all his force.

The poor ball flew into the air, ripping through the clouds as Percy willed it to go even further. Finally, the ball disappeared out of their sight and fell somewhere far away from the school.

There were a few gasps around him as the people looked at Percy in awe.

He turned around and caught the eye of a short kid with broccoli-green hair and freckles looking at him like he was a god. Percy laughed internally at the irony.

He winked at Yaoyorozu who had been looking at him wide-eyed. She got flustered and immediately looked somewhere else as Percy smirked.

He turned around to look at Aizawa who seemed to be pretty pleased. He took his phone and displayed the result to all of them.

"3.376 Km," He said. "Not bad!"

Other people gasped even louder. "That's so unfair."

"Today we will be conducting eight practical tests to gauge your total potential." Aizawa said. "The person who comes last, has none, and will be expelled immediately."

More gasps.

"It's the first day of the school!" A small girl with brown chestnut hair exclaimed. "That's so unfair!"

"Life's not fair," Percy said. "Natural disasters, Monsters, Villains… they're all causes of untimely deaths. That's nature's way of expelling you. One minute, you're sitting with your girlfriend, lying on her lap watching a fucking rom-com, and then the next, you're in a world you're completely unfamiliar with, ripped from your loved ones!"

A single tear fell on the ground. "Life isn't fair, Ochaco Uraraka."

He walked past the surprised kids and sat down away from them, wiping his eyes.

Shoji walked toward him and sat next to him. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah," Percy muttered, before coughing into his hand.

The octopus nodded and looked forward, not leaving Percy's side, wrapping a fake arm around him.

The demigod was silently happy to have Shoji next to him.

"If you need to talk," Shoji transformed his arm into a fake ear. "I always can lend you an ear."

They advanced to the next trail, that seemed to be a sprint or something.

Percy smiled and cracked his joints, ready to run.

Tenya Lida was the first to have a go, closing the entire distance in just 3.04 seconds or something.

Percy was next, and as soon as Aizawa started the timer, he dashed, completing the sprint in 1.4 seconds.

Everyone looked at him in shock.

"I can go faster than that if I use my quirk," He said to himself and begged Aizawa for a second chance.

He went back and this time, when the timer started, instead of running, he disappeared, appearing again behind Lida.

"0.1 seconds."

"What is that?" Kirishima questioned. "Teleportation or something?"

Percy smirked. "Will tell you later, Pal."

He had ranked first in the grip test, and second in the side-to-side step competition, and again first in the long jump.

In the ball test, Uraraka had been placed first, since she had had a quirk that allowed her to remove the gravitational attraction of the earth on things. Percy wondered whether it would work on other planets as well or not.

Then there was that green-head, Midoriya. He literally broke his finger throwing the ball, after Aizawa had torn into him, talking about a quirk that tore his muscles apart.

He had been placing last in all of the tests, so Percy of course was surprised when he bagged the 5th rank in the ball throw.

Soon, the test scores were revealed to them and, while Percy didn't mean to be arrogant, it was obviously him at the top, while Midoriya was last.

He turned around to look at the green boy and patted his shoulder. "Don't worry, you're going to be in for a surprise."

Midoriya looked at Percy in shock as Aizawa announced the fact that he had been infact lying and that no one was going home.

At the shocked gasps, Yaoyorozou responded. "I'm surprised you guys didn't figure it out."

Aizawa grinned at them, something that was completely unnerving and unsettling.

"Stop that," Percy said. "You're going to scare the children."

Aizawa ignored the comment. "That was it for the assessment, grab your syllabus and gear up for tomorrow."

The entire class dismissed and walked away.

Percy was initially walking alone, but soon Kirishima, Tsu, Tokoyami, and Shoji caught up with him.

They chatted and Percy had a smile on his face, but inside he was hurting.

He felt like he was betraying his old friends, replacing them.

It was stupid, he knew it, but he couldn't do anything about it.

So, he decided to go on with his life, the way it was going and let fate take it's course.

Because he knew he didn't have much time left, because he knew that he was dying.

A/N:- That was it for the new chapter! Hope you liked it! Stay tuned for the next one! I have something special planned for it! Anyway, bye! Have a nice day!
