THE GOD'S LEGACY Chapter 5
A/N:- So, as I said there is something bad that is going to happen in this chapter! Just wait for it!

Percy tore through the villains, not bothering to use his quirk on these sons of bitches.

He felt angry, no, livid that someone would even decide to attack a place where kids were training. His classmates. His friends.

Percy slid under the legs of one and then smashed the other with his own leg, ripping off its hand as he smashed the head of another.

Izuku was scared of him. He knew that their classmate held back his actual power in front of them, but he watched in awe as Percy kicked a man thrice his size straight into oblivion.

The demigod was tearing off their limbs, punching them unconscious, and making them fly away without even touching them.

He stomped the ground and the facility shook, many villains sinking deep into the underworld.

Aizawa was fairing pretty well, that is until he blinked.

Earlier there had been three villains who had been standing and surveying the destruction, now there were only two.

Percy recognized the guy with the hands in the middle, while the warp gate had vanished.

"So, you blinked?" Percy asked when he was back-to-back with Aizawa.

"Yeah," The hero grumbled and kicked down another villain.

"Well, at least Lida managed to escape," Percy said, surveying the scared students grouped together.

Midoriya, Tsu, and the small lecherous were also missing from the scene, but Percy couldn't occupy himself with that as the hands dude stepped off from the porch and charged towards Aizawa.

"Finish off with the rest, it's time for the boss. Go!" The hero commanded as he himself matched the attack.

Percy didn't want to leave Aizawa alone but trusted his words and ran to the side.

-TIME-SKIP-

Midoriya had convinced Tsu and Mineta to get a little closer. They were near the shoreline and had decided to be close incase Aizawa needed any help.

Izuku knew that their teacher's quirk was better for range and not combat-oriented and he knew that he would also be at a great disadvantage here, and his style of combat was more guerilla and less… Percy-like.

Speaking of which, the demigod had been mopping up the remainders and collecting the bodies in one place to make it easier for the cops, albeit a little roughly.

Aizawa was also fairing pretty well as he grappled with the pale guy, elbowing him in the chest.

The hands man had grabbed the elbow and everything went wrong.

Eraserhead's hair fell down.

Izuku knew what it meant, his quirk had to recharge, and that gave the pale man whatever quirk he used back.

They watched in mute horror as their teacher's elbow turned gray and cracked, revealing the muscles and tendons inside to the entire world.

Aizawa's hair rose again and the decay stopped as he got away from Shigaraki, jumping backward holding his wounded arm.

"You're pretty cool, Eraserhead," He said as he laughed. "Don't push yourself too much though, as I'm not the final boss."

Dawn of realization crept on Aizawa's face as he looked back at the creature with a beak and exposed brain.

Izuku couldn't help but whimper as he saw the monster grab their teacher's face and slam it into the concrete as blood pooled from his eyes.

The monster had known how Aizawa's quirk worked and had effectively disabled it. It'd be a miracle that he would ever be able to use his quirk or even see again if they got out of here alive.

But Midoriya knew that all hope wasn't lost as they still had their big brother of the class, Percy.

Someone roared. A deep and malicious roar of pure unadulterated rage that trembled the insides of the facility.

The roar hadn't come from the monster.

Not from the pale man.

Not from the fallen goons.

It came from their very own powerhouse, Percy.

There was a flash of blue as the demigod punched the bird with so much force that it flew away, falling into the forests.

The man with the hands was stunned by the display of power as Percy bent down and checked for Aizawa's pulse.

Apparently, he had found one as he nodded to himself, satisfied and dashed in the direction the monster had fallen.

Turns out, the Nomu was faster than Percy as he met the half-blood's punch with his own, both being equal in power and both not ready to stand down.

The pressure of the punch nearly broke Percy's arm and if it hadn't been for the water enhancing him, his entire arm would've been obliterated.

They exchanged blows and inflicted some damage on each other as they both were staggering.

However, the Nomu had a regeneration quirk, something that had not been working well with Percy.

He was standing there with three broken ribs and cuts in various places on his body. The scratches were not of importance as they healed pretty quickly, but his ribs were a problem as they hindered his movement.

"Hey, Bird-Brain!" Percy called out, coughing up blood as the Nomu looked at him, regenerating a lost arm. "You know what a skeleton likes to eat?"

The monster looked at him quizzically.

Percy stomped the ground and various skeletal hands clawed their way out of the underworld.

"SPARE RIBS!" Percy shouted as he jumped up and the skeletons leaped at the Nomu.

Percy had specifically ordered the remains of the redcoats who had surrounded him and were now clawing at the flesh of the monster and feeding on his skin.

Percy was floating in the air, smiling at himself and coughing up blood as he looked to the side and saw a horrifying sight.

The man with the red eyes and the hands was close to Tsu, his hand outstretched in an attempt to close it around her face.

Anger bubbled inside Percy's stomach as he disappeared.

-BREAK-

Izuku couldn't move.

He felt helpless and useless and powerless.

He knew he needed to move, he knew he needed to help, but he couldn't. It felt like his legs were frozen to the ground just like when he used to train with Percy or Todoroki.

The hand moved closer to Tsu's face, her eyes wide in fear, too close, moving in slow motion.

Izuku couldn't think of anything except fear, that is until Percy appeared beside them.

The demigod had moved without him wanting to, his hand was outstretched in an attempt to grab Tsu as he mentally cursed himself.

The hand moved closer and closed around Percy's hand as they all watched in fear and horror.

The costume started to turn to dust and so did Percy's skin.

It was burning.

He screamed.

-LINE-BREAK-

Midoriya couldn't move as he simply watched.

Tsu's face was open and her eyes were wide.

Mineta was horrified, tears streaming down his face.

Percy fell to the ground clutching his arm that was slowly but surely turning entirely to dust.

The man with the hands himself was stunned for a moment.

Percy knew he had to stop the spread of the quirk otherwise he would himself disintegrate from existence.

He steeled his nerves and his entire arm fell from the shoulder to the ground with a thud, slowly floating in the air as it got reduced to atoms.

Percy coughed blood as he clutched the bloody stump that used to be his hand, the wound closing up as scar tissue formed on top of it.

Shigaraki started to laugh. "You people really think that you stand for justice? This is what is wrong with your society, you just work for the government, fight those that the government deems evil and save those that it deems good. When All Might will make his entrance, he will never be able to fight again as we will break him emotionally."

Midoriya gasped as his tears evaporated. He was livid and he saw red as he leaped from the water and directed a punch straight for the man's face, fueled by hate and anger.

Anger as to how he dared to hurt his friends.

Anger as to how he hurt Percy, the only person who took Midoriya in when he found out the truth about his and All Might's relationship, something he never told anyone.

"STOP LAUGHING AT HIM!"

He punched, One For All coursing through his veins, and the shockwave was enough to send water and smoke flying in all directions.

For the first time, Izuku felt something break, but not in his body.

When the smoke dissipated, however, he saw that the victim was someone else entirely.

It was the purple monster with the exposed brain that stood over his master, not fazed by the punch at all.

Shigaraki laughed again. "This is the specifically bio-engineered Nomu, designed to resist All Might at hundred percent. Someone as pesky as you can't take out a creature stronger than the symbol of Peace!"

Then the pale man stopped, turning serious. "Kill them."

The Nomu raised his hand, ready to attack.

Midoriya was in shock.

Tsu was crying, huddled over the broken Percy.

Mineta was screaming in fear.

The fist was about to connect when there was a huge shockwave as the punch hit something invisible right in front of Izuku.

It produced a similar shockwave but ten times the power of Midoriya's.

This time it was enough to send the Nomu and his master flying away as well as several other things.

Izuku looked back and saw that Percy was standing taking Tsu's help as his eyes were glowing with power that not even All Might held.

Mineta's crying had stopped and Midoriya took in Percy's actual appearance.

His jacket had been discarded and his t-shirt had been ripped in places, showing off his perfectly sculpted abs and muscles.

His left hand was a bloody stump while his right was bloody. So was his face. There was blood dripping from above his right eye and also from his mouth.

Then there was the occasional coughing blood. He had few wounds on the stomach and Izuku feared there might be more inside.

But despite all this, he was standing strong and was radiating immense power.

The Nomu reappeared and was again ready to punch the living hell out of them.

Mineta and Tsu weren't scared, but Midoriya knew that the last thing he had pulled had taken away a lot of Percy's energy and he might not be able to do something like that again.

What happened next confirmed his suspicions.

Percy stomped the ground and the three were blasted out of the place as Izuku understood what was happening.

He was planning on taking the full force of the Nomu's punch alone and keeping them out of the way. Izuku didn't like that.

He reached out to Percy, trying to do something, but the demigod looked at them and shook his head as the monster's punch caught up to him.

Midoriya gasped.

Percy was still standing and the monster's arm was obliterated.

But the Nomu was not slow to react as he grabbed Percy's good arm and ripped it off of his body.

The three students watched in horror unable to do anything.

The monster then took its reformed hand and stabbed it straight through Percy's chest.

The demigod sputtered out blood as Midoriya screamed.

Percy looked at him, a sad smile on his bloodstained lips as he mouthed a faint goodbye.

Midoriya couldn't stop the stream of tears as Percy's words from the bus kept ringing in his ears.

Percy was going to die.

The Nomu grabbed him by the leg and threw him straight in the water as the students screamed.

-LINE-BREAK-

Percy was drowning.

The water wasn't helping him stay awake. It comforted him, making his eyes droop as his wounds closed. The gaping hole in his chest was trying its best to close up.

Percy could feel the cool touch of the water on his skin, asking him to fall asleep.

And this time, either because he didn't have energy left or he just didn't want to, Percy didn't fight it.

He sank to the depths of the ocean, his eyes closing as the bubbles arising from his nose became finite in number, slowly till there were none.

His body hit the bed of the man-made water body with a thud as his features relaxed.

"Percy Jackson," A voice said in his head. "You're stronger than this."

'What?' Percy thought.

"You're the last of us. You're our pride. You're our hope." The voice continued, a voice that Percy faintly recognized. It was a voice that he had almost forgotten. "Live on, and carry out our legacy. You will not die here!"

The voice became stronger.

"You have the blessing of Olympus! So, my son," The voice grew louder as the water around the body started to rise, swirling around a glowing Percy. "AWAKE!"

And the demigod's eyes opened, both of them glowing with godly power.

-LINE-BREAK-

The sky crackled outside the dome and Shigaraki looked up at the swirling mass of clouds in the distance.

His eyes narrowed.

The dark clouds had increased in number and size and the wind picked up speed. Thunder boomed louder and louder as something wet dropped on Tomura's cheek.

A small sprinkle of rain fell from the heavens, something that slowly turned into a torrential downpour.

It felt like a hurricane had struck the facility, but Shigaraki knew that wasn't the case.

He was half prepared to call it quits and command Kurogiri to take them back as he saw the Nomu pin Izuku Midoriya down, ready to kill him as well, his arm cocked back.

Tomura didn't want to leave, he was enjoying it as he stood there, but there was something wrong in the air, or more specifically the rain itself.

Slowly but surely, it had lost the cooling effect it was having on him and had started to burn into his skin and clothes.

He quickly took shelter under a building and took a look at his sizzling skin.

Shigaraki cursed and looked on as the water reservoir erupted.

-LINE-BREAK-

Midoriya closed his eyes, feeling death lurking just inches away from his face.

Tsu had been knocked unconscious and Mineta was looming on top of her, tears streaming down his face, muttering about not getting to touch Yaoyorozou's breasts or something.

Izuku had tried to be a hero, but in the end, he was just the powerless and helpless and useless Deku he had been, unable to save his friends.

Percy had died because of him, and so would his friends.

But he just had the consolation that no one else had been hurt. The rest were safe with Thirteen and Lida was calling for reinforcements.

He said a silent sorry to All Might for not being worthy enough as he clenched his fist.

The cold rain relaxed him and he felt like god was helping him have a painless death as he waited for the death blow.

It never came.

He opened one eye, scared at what he would see.

What he saw, blew his mind.

Percy was standing there holding the fucking monster by the arm, refusing to let it budge, or at least Midoriya thought it was Percy.

His entire black hair had faded to a cream-white and was whipping around his face. The blood had been washed away and his face held only one expression. Rage.

But that wasn't the most startling change.

Both of his arms which had been torn off were back. Regrown in full flesh and blood in such a way that if you were not there to see it, you wouldn't believe that he had just lost both arms.

The gaping hole in his chest had closed all the way and all of his wounds had healed completely.

Midoriya was watching his all-powerful friend in shock.

Percy's eyes were glowing their respective colors and he himself was fully glowing silver.

He smiled when he met Izuku's eyes. "You did good. Now just watch how your big brother handles the situation."

Percy tightened his hold and threw the Nomu backward, sending him flying straight into the walls of the facility.

"Percy," Tsu muttered.

"I'm fine," Percy said with such confidence that it filled the students' chests with hope and power. "Take care of Aizawa."

A/N:- So, uh… I killed Percy, and I brought him back! How did you like it? Shit's about to go down next chapter! Love you guys! Bye! Have a nice day!
