Hey People! It's TonyMon318 back with ya with a new story. A Variant of my 5 OCs not only as Dimensional Travelers but as Spiders, as in Spider-Men. Also, Im really sorry i haven't been around lately. I have been dealing with a ton of stuff and stress for these years and it got in the way of my writing but now I'm Back. Anyway wanna find out how this new story begins? Lets Thwip and see.
From Spiders of the City to Spiders of the Multiverse
"All right peeps, let's do this one more time" A mysterious boy's voice narrated while what looks like a Comic book of 5 Spider-Men appear?
"My name is Johnny Aiko, alongside my friends; Ben Abtal, Jason Wolfheart, Mark Dragonius and Sam Conley. We were bitten by an actual Enhanced Radioactive Spider. And for the last year, we have been a group called The Spiders. Well, technically, we can't call ourselves Spider-Men, because we didn't want to insult Peter Parker". "And we think you know the rest..." Johnny narrated showing the names of the 5 boys. While a Spider bites them in a 5 spilt scene. And the seem to be running alongside the buildings in Suits and Jedi like Robes; Johnny's is the W.E.B. Suit from Disney's Avengers Campus, Ben's is the Amazing Suit from the 2012 Amazing Spider-Man movie, Jason's is the Big Time Spider Suit in Stealth Color, Mark's is the Future Foundation Suit; the White/Black version and finally, Sam's is the Sam Raimi Spider-Man Suit.
"We became an unstoppable team." Johnny continues narrating, showing the five Spiders stopping various crimes; Bank Robberies, Carjackings, Gang Wars, etc.
"Protected our Families, Friends." Ben, this time, narrated this part, showing a collage of scenes where they saved their parents, friends of high school from crazy characters and actual villains; like a Wind-based one, Rocky villain, and several more.
"Made official protectors of Los Angeles by the Mayor." Jason narrating this part with Johnny in his suit, shaking hands with the mayor alongside the LAPD commissioner.
"Got a lot of love by Tiffany and the Lady Phantom Cheer Squad." Johnny narrated, while Tiffany was kissing Johnny with him upside down, Beth was kissing Ben, Karen was kissing Jason, Lola was kissing Mark and Rebecca or "Becky" was kissing Sam in the same alley way with the others smothering them with kisses afterwards.
"Inspired others to help." Mark narrated while The Spiders watched various people in homelessness centers, fundraisers in stores even construction.
"Even got a statue erected as appreciation for all our hard work." Sam narrated with a Statue being reveal of the 5 Spiders posing together to show the people, that they still have a home and a city thanks to the Spiders.
"But... the One thing I couldn't do... was save my own Grandfather." Johnny narrated, then It then shows an experimented version of Johnny's Grandfather, Lance. Being held lifeless with a sobbing Johnny unmasked with the other guys comforting him.
"So I knew, I couldn't be with my family again. So after the funeral. While my family slept, Ben and the others helped me get all my stuff and moved it all to our lair; The Spider Nest. It was for the best, even though deep inside it hurt me." Johnny continued, showing the funeral of Johnny's grandpa, skipped to a Night scene where Ben and the others helped getting Johnny's last few things before swinging away, then moving in to the Spider Nest, which was an underground tunnel built in the sewers connecting to an abandoned train stop. Then Johnny was sadly watching the news about his disappearance showing a even more devastated family.
"But in all that, I decided to honor my grandpa. By carrying on to keep being a Spider. Overtime my pain faded and restored my happiness with the help of my best friends. And that got me realizing; this is what grandpa once told me 'Sometimes, not all people can be helped even when you work so hard'. Now what stands between life and death here in LA is us. Cause we are... The Spiders." Johnny finished showing them saving lives, helping the police, deal with crooks, etc while finishing off this narration with a swing and a close up of the 5 Spiders winking.
It was a beautiful day of Los Angeles, looked peaceful, until the sight of smoke and the sound of gunfire was keeping the cops pinned down, located in Hollywood; Walk of Fame. There were at least 10 guys wearing cheap Marvel masks of like Spider-Man, Venom, Carnage even Anti-Venom. They were just firing their guns at the cops
"Don't let up boys, don't stop till someone is ballsy enough to meet our demands!" The leader in a Spider-Man mask exclaimed.
"Come on, Who the hell is gonna give us, what we deserve; Peace and Quiet?!" A goon in a Carnage mask exclaimed.
"There won't be peace with you scumbags around." A voice said from the left side, the goons all turned and saw the source was... on the empty Swat vehicle, The 5 Spider-Men with their respective costumes and robes on.
"The Spiders?!" The goons all asked, shocked.
"Yea, we were just having a nice peaceful swing and what do we hear and find? A bunch of crybaby goons wearing the masks of our greatest inspiration for a stupid-ass reason such as 'Peace and Quiet'." Ben said.
"Stupid-ass?, STUPID-ASS?!, The only thing stupid-ass thing is you Spiders' existence and making trouble for us. Boys, waste'em!" The goon leader retaliated and ordered his men to kill the Spiders, but they smirked under their masked and went invisible, due to their Spider-Camouflage and managed to get out of the way.
"Shit, where'd they go?" One of the goons in a Venom mask asked before getting shocked by a Venom blast.
Then one by one, almost all the goons got taken down, webbed, shocked, the tied up in a big webbing. Then the Goon leader turned around to see all his men taken down and webbed up, groaning. The Leader got scared and started backing a way until he felt a tap on his shoulder and saw it was Johnny in his Spider Suit, smirking under his mask and said "Heya." before he delivered some punches and kicks and looked at Ben and said "Pass up!" and kicked him to Ben and he was then webbing up the guy the way Amazing Spider-Man did to the Lizard.
He then prepped to hit the guy and said "Your up dude!" and punched the goon to Jason who then did a backflip kick and then side kick and yelled "Dudes you're, up!". Mark and Sam then were waiting and Mark started off with a Venom Shock and Sam did a uppercut and said "Boss spider!". Johnny then jumped and delivered an Impact Web to the goon trapping him on the ground, then he said "Night, sucker." and delivered the final punch to the head, knocking the leader out.
Afterwards, all the goons were then being taken away by the cops and the commissioner and the captain went up to the Spiders and they turned around.
"Thank you Spiders, you boys have done it again." The commissioner said, with an approving smile, while the captain added "Yea, you're the best".
"No, we are only here to help and protect." Johnny said.
"Till next time!" The Spiders exclaimed and web swung away.
Later, they were back in their HQ, The Spider Nest, which had some Old Subway Cars, Train tracks, but Spider-Man colored. There were also Models that would hold their costumes, a Computer with screens all lined up like Spider-Man's Logo from the Sam Raimi films, a Vehicle bay containing their custom-made Spider-Cycles, Spider-Mobiles; Johnny's Collection was all his colors in every model, Ben's Section had his colors in every model, Jason, Mark and Sam each had their own section and every car model in their own colors. Underneath there was a water line the connects to the sewer exit and there were parked various boats, jet skis, they have found in junkyards over the year and colored for them each. There was also a spot that looked kind of like a living room but all Spidey themed.
"Man, that gang was so retarded! What were they thinking, using Spidey masks, and Symbiote Masks?" Jason asked his best friends, recapping today's crime stopper.
"Well, who knows what fuckin idiots will do these days." Ben replied.
"True, that. Let's face it, we have been doing this shit for a year now. We have done everything possible Spider-Man would do, save a bunch of people, be prepared for eventual impossible supervillains, stop a bunch of dangerous crimes. But we just don't feel, you know... challenged." Johnny said, recapping their past year.
"Ugh, don't even get me started on that rock throwing criminal, who decided to name himself 'The Boulder' or that windbag 'Turbine'. But you're right Johnno." Mark said, agreeing with the leader.
"Yeah, we need a challenge or better yet; an adventure." Sam said.
But then the computer started to flash and emitted an alert sound and said "Unknown signal detected, Unknown signal detected.". The Spiders then rushed over to the computer and Jason got in the seat, typing in keys to try to find the source of the signal until... the screen showed a satellite tracking system and showed an image of an unknown island with a red dot.
"Looks like the source of the signal is on an island 10 miles from here." Jason said.
"Then I guess it's time for a boat trip." Johnny said.
Afterwards, they all put their masks back on and heading to one of their Spider-boats, They chose the one with Johnny's Spider Suit colors and was able to hold them all. The computer activated the launch sequence, positioning it in the sewer exit. Once it was placed on the water, Johnny started the engine and they were off to find that signal.
2 Hours Later...
The boat was tracking the source of the signal, but they almost searched every part of the ocean, with little success. They were beginning to get bored and exhausted.
"Uh... dudes? I'm beginning to think we may be lost." Mark said exhaustedly.
"Yea or we have been on a wild goose chase for these past couple hours." Sam agreed, slumping on the side of the boat.
"Maybe we should turn around, Captain." Jason suggested to his best friend and leader.
"Yea... you're probably right... huh?" Johnny was about to agree until he heard the radar bleeping loudly. The others then heard and rushed over to where Johnny is.
"Uhh guys, I think we finally got a location." Johnny said and started driving the boat, toward the direction on the radar.
"Well, let's no waste time. Floor it!" Ben exclaimed, hitting the switch to make the boat accelerate, making the others scream.
"BENNNNNNNN!" Jason exclaimed while screaming and hanging on for dear life.
"WE'VEEEEE GOTTTTT TOOOOOOO CONTROLLLLL YOURRRRR IMPULSESSSSSS!" Mark added on with his voice reverberating.
"JOHNNO, ISLAND, DEAD AHEAD!" Sam exclaimed, pointing to the island in question.
"HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!" Johnny exclaimed, trying to slow down the boat, but it was not slowing down enough as the boat was approaching the island at fast speed. But the boat reached the beach stopping abruptly completely, making the Spiders fall and pretty much get hurt. They all raised their heads and Johnny, Jason, Mark and Sam were looking at Ben with an "not happy" look on their face, making Ben smile sheepishly.
Afterwards, Johnny took the tracker and he and the others were jumping from tree to tree, following where that signal is leading too. They even were web swinging around to try to save some time, plus it was a good thing that they did do hiking and camping trips together.
"Yo, Johnny! Look over there!" Jason exclaimed pointing at a very unusual shape hidden in the trees. Johnny checked the tracker and it was beeping rapidly.
"That must be it! Come on!" Johnny exclaimed and started web swinging to the direction of the shape, with the others following him.
They landed nearby and saw the tracker was going into overdrive, meaning that this shape is the source of the signal. They moved towards it and began examining and brushing leaves, branches and vines that were covering it. After a while, it looked some kind of door, that looked to futuristic to be from this time. They started looking to the side and saw a box with a bunch of buttons, Mark decided to try something since he was good at solving puzzles and code hacking. Mark typed the buttons to make it look like a Spider symbol of Spider-Man of MCU, and for some strange reason, the pad beeped and the door opened.
"Should we...?" Johnny questioned, hoping for his best friends to answer.
"Ummmm... Yes!" They all said together, with them walking inside and the lights automatically turning on. The boys were gasping in awe to see it is a hangar like in Star Wars.
"Wow, you know we could fit all our vehicles here and maybe add some new stuff too." Johnny said and thought of an idea.
"That would be awesome." Ben said, agreeing with the idea.
"Come on, let's check the rest of this place out" Johnny suggested with everyone nodding.
It has been about an hour of searching this strange place, if it is a place to begin with. The Spiders have been finding other rooms, like a library, a medical bay, a cargo bay with a trash compactor, a galley with a dining room, about 5 bathrooms, a laboratory with a bunch of high-tech, chemical stations, etc. Down the halls was a lounge fit for about 100 people. A room that looks like some kind of either dressing room but it looks like there is a console that can actually fabricate clothes and weapons. The next door had a fitness center with every workout machine and tool needed. A few more rooms included, an arcade with every arcade game in existence and even a little bar on the top, like a Dave & Busters, a Dolby style movie theater like at an AMC Theater, an Internet Cafe that has Apple Computers and a little hangout couch and chair area, a big swimming pool, a Sauna with a hot tub connecting to the pool area, a Hawaii style patio with a juice bar, a training room with practice dummies and a room with various Karaoke doors like in clubs.
"Whew, I have to say this place is looking real awesome. But it looks like every room we've been to have been like dead ends" Jason said, exhaustedly.
"Yea *panting*" Ben agreed looking really tired.
"Well, we gotta continue, if not then we will never reach the truth" Johnny said.
"You're right man" Mark said with the others nodding.
After that little encouragement from their leader, they continued exploring the place and found 5 rooms that looked big, like they could be bedrooms. Finally, they wound up in a room that looked like an office but with a touch of fanciness from history, and at the center of this part was like a console.
"Hmm, this kind of looks like a bridge of a ship or something" Johnny said, thinking bout this set up.
"That's because it is" a female voice that sounded American just said through like a sound system.
"What the hell? Who said that?" Jason asked confused.
Then at the console a holographic head, that looks like a female with brown hair appeared and was lookign at the Spiders.
"Hello and welcome aboard. I am Karen, an interactive artificial consciousness programmed to operate this vessel" the voice now revealed to be a A.I. program called Karen said.
"Nice to meet you, Karen. My name is Johnny Aiko, these are my friends; Ben Abtal, Jason Wolfheart, Mark Dragonius and Sam Conley. We are known as The Spiders, a group of heroes in Los Angeles, California." Johnny said, introducing his team.
"Then it seems my task will be complete" Karen said, making the boys confused.
"What do you mean?" Ben asked.
"I was sent here to investigate problems around the Multiverse" Karen explained.
"INVESTIGATE PROBLEMS AROUND THE MULTIVERSE?!" The Spiders exclaimed in shock.
"Correct, to be honest, I am surprised of your reaction" Karen said.
"Well, we have seen the Multiverse theory in various fiction. Never expecting it to actually exist" Jason said.
"That is completely understandable" Karen replied.
"So, you were sent to investigate problems in the multiverse. Hey, i just got an idea" Johnny said.
"And what is that, Jonathan Aiko?" Karen asked, wondering about Johnny's idea.
"What if we; The Spiders, join you on your ongoing journey? We could investigate the Multiverse together, meet people in various worlds, dimensions and upgrade ourselves from 'Friendly Neighborhood' to 'Friendly Multiversial Spiders'" Johnny suggested, with the others, smiling, getting intrigued.
"Well, I have been looking for a group of individuals who could help me. And now after meeting you, I think my decision is made... Spiders, you are now The Spiders of the Multiverse" Karen said, declaring The Spiders of the Multiverse.
"Ok then!" The boys exclaimed and then the place started to rumble, where it sounds like a jet engine igniting.
"Wait, is this...?" Mark guessed.
"Correct, it's a Ship. And now thanks to you become part of the crew. It is now named 'The Web Traveler'" Karen answered.
After that the ship was revealed to look like a Star Wars Republic Cruiser but Spider-Man colored, and the Symbols of Sam Raimi, Mark Webb and Marvel Cinematic Spider-Men are stacked and were placed on the nose of the ship. Also, the entire ship now has the Webbing from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man.
"All right, Karen, if this ship has a stealth mode. Keep us in it and set a course for our lair, the Spider-Nest. But first, can you beam up our boat?" Johnny requested.
"Of course." Karen replied and sent the boat that was left on the beach and teleported to the hangar bay; Johnny's section.
Meanwhile...
Somewhere, around the Port of Los Angeles at a crusty warehouse. There was a machine with some kind of probe launcher and inside it contains some kind of chemical concoction, while the computer screen looked like Spiders and DNA and a plotted course. Standing in front of the console is a silhouette of what looks like a scientist.
"All right, Los Angeles. Let's see if you like this 'gift' I'm sending you" The figure said.
"But this gift will work in my favor and nobody will be able to stop me. Not you, and not the Spiders!" The figure then acted crazily and began laughing manically and launched the probe into the sky, blanketing all of Los Angeles in some kind of red and blue gas.
And that's a wrap! There are new variants of Johnny, Ben, Jason, Mark and Sam as Spiders. Now they have been given the chance of a lifetime to become Multiverse traveling heroes. But first, it looks like they may have to take care of something before the start. But what did that strange figure mean?, find out next time.
