I do not own Eureka or any of it's characters

I want to note that I am an idiot no matter how much research I do to get stuff right so in general for my stories when it comes to medical, diplomatic, scientific, geographic or any other ics I will definately get stuff wrong [-:

enjoy!(:

A long empty road that you could barely call a road ran straight through tan dusty sahara. A black SUV carrying six passengers avoided potholes and the occasional tumbleweed.

"If you don't turn that off Carter I swear my foot will be loose in your a-", started an aggravated Jo.

"Alright alright! And Footloose is a Kenny Loggins classic by the way.", defended Jack who sat in the drivers seat.

"Oh no, don't turn it off.", said Nathan in monotone with sarcasm dripping from the usual smirk he had when making fun of the sheriff.

"Relax everyone we're almost there anyway.", said Allison with a suppressed grin at the amsuing scene.

They were four hours into the drive from the Las Cruces International airport in New Mexico. The tech company they were meeting was not far from the Mexican Border. With sufficient payment and permission from the Mexican Government, a spot in the middle of the empty desert with no prying eyes and the perfect wind conditions gave them a place to demonstrate certain classified technology.

"Are you sure cause I don't see anything around, at all.", said Fargo only finding dense heatwaves above the horizon.

"It's close according to these coordinates don't get your pocket square in a hizzy.", teased Zane casually.

"I'm not wearing a pocket square.", Fargo mumbled in defense as he continued to look out the window.

"Is that something up ahead?", asked Jo with squinted eyes.

"It must be, there's not much else out here.", said Carter as he veered toward the distant blobs that danced in the ripples of the heat.

They grew bigger as the only non sand colored things among the dry tundra became clearer. A man and woman waved with welcoming smiles as the car slowed to a stop.

"Welcome! Welcome it is so good to finally meet you all! As you know I'm Dr. Jeremiah Luna and this is my assistant Rosa Cruz. The isolated module is prepped to polarize the telemetry velocity guage.", said the tall man with the bad toupe and very kind smile. The young woman wore a proffesional white blouse and a beige, somewhat flowy skirt, down to her knees. A white lab coat sat over the outfit matching her superiors.

Hands were shook and pleasentries were made before the demonstration began. Two large coils stood about fifteen feet tall next to some equipment and a computer. With the use of their own original and unique technology the scientists claimed to have proven Huperts law of uneven opposite polarity's providing an outside source with antimatter energy of limitless end. So they said, and the D.O.D deemed it necessary for them to go and check it out. The experiment was too sensitive to be moved so that meant a bonding trip for our six favorite G.D. personnel. After Carter complaining for days wondering why his attendance was necessary he made Jo come to.

Though Fargo's mind often wandered, he had been eager to see the results of this experiment immensely. His eyes were sure to be on the coils and computer readouts, but a few strands of her hair fell loose from her clipped up curls. They kissed her tan cheek with clueless beauty. Rosa, it was a beautiful name. He wondered what it would sound like if he whispered it into the breeze.

Speaking of breeze, it was starting to pick up as the sun drooped toward the flat horizon. As the proffesionals they were, they continued through ignoring any sand in their eyes.

Jo and Jack stood by bored as Nathan, Zane, Allison and Dr. Luna tweaked and checked the coils and equipment, Rosa and Fargo monitored the computer readings. She was even smarter than he guessed and their stimulating conversation of the possibilities of the experiment almost distracted them from their monitoring duties.

Rosa wore a thin orange scarf around her neck that was yanked away by the wind. Fargo's hand was quick as he reached up very swiftly catching it in the air before it dissapeared.

"El viento solo esta celoso seƱora.", he said smoothly handing her the silk garment as it flowed sideways.

"G-gracias.", she replied surprised with blushed cheeks.

The group was unsure what to think of the moment though they didn't have time to decide as Jeremiah looked at them worried.

"What is it Dr. Luna?", asked Allison.

"I checked the wind speeds an hour ago and everything was fine but...", he began nervously.

"What doctor?", insisted Nathan sternly.

"Well they are picking up at a rate of 0.23 miles per minute. That guarantees a sandstorm heading this way from the north!", finished the man.

"We should all go then doctor or we'll be caught in it!", said Jo.

Soon they were headed toward the nearest shelter trying desperately to outrun the quickly gaining sandstorm.

"There is an establishment on the outskirts of the nearest city about a mile south we should be close!", said Jeremiah.

It was soon in their sights and Carter quickly pulled up as they all jumped out. They didn't have time to get a good look but the city sat behind the building beautifully. Houses and cobblestone streets with old fountains and yellows, reds, and oranges were found everywhere.

They had barely made it to the door it was so hard to see through the sand filled winds. Fargo lost his glasses somewhere back at the site, luckily a spare pair of contacts sat in his breifcase. Applying them in a speeding car was no easy task.

Inside it was crowded and hot. Red dust floated around and a fifties style afro-cuban type song was being played by a live band. It was seductive and spicy, begging your waist to quake.

Any jackets from the team were immediately removed in the musky place as their overshirts eventually followed leaving camousals and t-shirts.

They found a table somehow as most people were there to dance. Fargo wondered if they were even aware of the weather outside, he wasn't sure they'd quite care anyway.

Much needed drinks were ordered as the group sat around watching the crowd.

Rosa's hair was falling out of her clip with a haphazard beauty and she was down to her red camousal. He looked at her as she looked back sensing his eyes.

"Anhalas bailar no?", asked Fargo.

She smiled as he offered his hand. As they stood up he spun her in on the beat. Her smile doubled as they swayed toward the dancing. Because of the crowding they werent far from the table but they didn't know where they were in the room as they were locked on each other. They didn't see the others, but the others saw them.

Their bodies moved as one to the fast music as he twirled her, dipped her, spun her and she flowed with it intoxicatingly. They danced as if they had been practicing together for years. Their bodies were as close as they could be, fitting like a puzzle into each others molding and curves. His white t-shirt was dusty and a strand of hair hung over his forehead wet from sweat. Her clip was gone as her curls whipped around wildly.

The crowd was untamed with wild hips and misty passion driven into the unplanned movements.

Their skin touched with sensual elegance as she moved up and down his torso. Their eyes found each other close as temptation grew. Skin slowly grazing skin, lips threatening to meet as they tease. The curves of their cheeks fall into each other like waves, their noses play on the bridges with euphoria.

Their chests never seperate as they kiss within the heat and the dance.

"Cuidada.", he mutters into her breath.

The table of tame scientists and law enforcement sat without words. Slightly blushing at the sight of the suddenly not-so-shy individuals doing what they were. But they did it well. Unbelievably well actually. What were they supposed to do with this new information? They'd figure it out.

Fargo and Rosa looked into each others firery eyes knowing this new bond between them had a hazy future. No matter what happened though it didn't matter, they had tonight.
