Author's Note: I do hope to make this a longer story as my goal from this chapter onward is to make chapters have at least 5k words. Do realize that this is only my second Fic and my first one was written well over a year ago. I WILL make mistakes along the way. Lq840i: I like your idea for the blood beads but I will use a different way to implement them than a spring. Azazel's and Ajuka's brilliance will be of use this will also be a way for me to tie the Vampire faction closer to the Biblical one.

Chapter 2: The Culture Shock
After realizing that we would have to do what the Fallen General stated and go to an accursed human school we sighed in defeat. "Just out of curiosity while we are in this town how are we going to eat?" I asked looking at Azazel whom was still smirking at us.
Azazel stands up and walks to the corner of the room towards a fridge and grabbed two bags. Throwing one at me and the other at Sofia "Of course wouldn't want our new resident Vampire to go hungry would we?" he then shuffled in the drawer of the desk pulling out two uniforms and then handed them to us. "These are the school uniforms you will be wearing them from now on. Tomorrow Issei here will lead you to the student council to get your classes together."
"Why do I have to show pretty boy to his classes?" Issei complained while looking at me. He then looked over to Sofia and gained a weird look on his face. "On second thought that sounds like a wonderful Idea."
Rias looked to her perverted pawn with irritation before pinching his cheek hard. "O-Ow Rias that hurts what did I do now?" She let go and just scoffed looking the other direction.
Sofia just looked at him with disgust before looking back at Azazel "while I get that we have to go to this school where will we get to train to prepare ourselves for the coming battle."
"Of course! We have a training ground in the basement of the mansion where you will all be training together." The blond governor exclaimed excited. "It shouldn't be hard to find your way there after all its the second largest building in this town other than the school." Immediately the red dragon emperor looked at Azazel.
"Wait they are moving in with us? I don't want to be around another pretty boy like him." Iseei said pointing at me, "any longer than I have to be. I already have to be around Kiba and he takes all the girls at school!"
"In case you didn't hear earlier Issei, Sofia and I are engaged I am not here for petty human affections." I spoke up while looking at him. "That being said Sofia and I will make our leave from here we plan to get familiar with this town." I said looking over to Sofia "I do hope we can make this relationship work out she is quite stunning. I just don't know anything about her."
She looked at me with a nod as we both turned to leave the room. Azazel spoke up right as we reached the door, "You know these blood bags are only temporary. I'm trying to whip up a replacement to make your species less reliant on humans. Just as a peace offering to help prolonged peace between our factions."
We turned around and looked at him in shock "I didn't realize that was even possible," I spoke astonished.
"Well when you are a genius like me nothing is impossible!" he chuckled. "Though to be fair I am having some help with the Satan Beelzebub."
"Well I look forward to see if the two of you can achieve what we all thought to be impossible." Sofia spoke astonished. She then turned to grab my hand and we proceeded to leave the room.
Line Break
"Well lets see what a human town has to offer, I have always stayed in the Castle I never had need to leave." I spoke to her "Plus this gives us a chance to finally get to know each other."
She looked to me in what I thought to be amusement, "really? You have never left your castle. Guess in this story your the damsel who got rescued from the tower!" She started laughing at me
I playfully nudged her shoulder "Well alright my hero we have some exploring to do." as we both looked at each other and started laughing lightly together.
"First things first we have to find our way to this mansion Azazel spoke of." She replied as they started to walk towards the town. They didn't need to very far before they saw this massive six story building towering over neighboring houses in the distance. "Never mind then lets go explore I didn't realize it would stick out that much."
"You can say that again," I facepalmed. "well I guess its obvious who owns most of this town huh?"
"I guess, hey have you ever done human activities like bowling?" She asked me as she suddenly got excited. "Mother would always take me to her negotiations with other factions. I saw a bunch of people that seemed to have a fun time."
"I can't say I have as I said before I never really left the castle. All I have ever really done for fun was sparing with Marius. I have always wanted to knock the smirk that is ever lingering on his face," I replied. "Though it couldn't hurt to try it out!"
We walked around for hours trying to find a bowling alley with no luck as of yet. Then again we didn't really know anything about this town. We eventually gave up and started to head back towards the mansion.
When we eventually arrived to the gated mansion Azazel was leaning on the gate waiting for us. "Ahh so the undead lovers found there way home." He was again looking as us with his devious smile. "And here I thought I'd have to send someone to find you."
We gave him a deadpan look "Its kind of hard not to see this place from the opposite end of town." Sofia spoke
"Since tomorrow is Monday you two will have to be up early as your new school life is about to start." Azazel smirk never left his face. "You're training with me will also start with me after school tomorrow I have to see what you guys can do."
"Tch" I looked at him annoyed. "Seriously us going to a human school hell as seriously frozen over," I thought to myself. "That Kiba guy called himself a knight I am interested in seeing how good he really is with a blade."
"Oh? Excited for a good battle are you? You remind me of a certain white haired subordinate of mine." Azazel said with a chuckled "Though I am curious as to how you will counter his Sacred Gear."
"Our Vampire Families are similar to the devil pillars in the since that certain families carry powerful bloodlines." Sofia said with a smirk of her own forming. "You will be shocked at what a couple of royal vampires could do when they are going all out."
Azazel just shrugged and turned towards the entrance of the Hyoudou residence "Well only time will tell let me show you to your rooms." as he led us inside. We were welcomed by a large open room. In which led to a large stair case to the floor above which had a balcony which one could look out to the entrance from.
"Well it is a lot more modern than our old castle ill give you that." I said while looking around.
"Oh? You haven seen anything yet there are 3 basements. The first one being a training ground the one below that has a large heated indoor pool." he said while opening his arms as if inviting us further in to the home. "The bedrooms are from the second floor up to the fifth. Both of your bedrooms will be on the fifth floor. but no worries there are elevators so you wont have to walk all the way up!"
"Can you just show us to our rooms please we area tired a lot has transpired." Sophia stated while looking at the blond man. Her eyes started to glow a dark red as she smiled to show her fangs "Also we are both quite hungry. We weren't able to get a snack while we were out as I'm sure miss red head wouldn't appreciate it if we did."
"Well I'm still working on a more permanent way to solve that issue but yes she wouldn't like it if you started to drain the population of her town." Azazel said while in a thinking pose. "For now blood bags will have to do I will send a maid with a few to your rooms. For now let me show you where you will be lodging." he turn and started to walk towards an elevator.
"That works for now I suppose." I said as we followed him. "So school huh is there a particular way we should act? I don't have much experience with humans other than drinking from them."
"Yes, please do refrain from doing that during your stay here." Azazel looked at us with a sheepish expression "Just treat them as if they are one of your kind I guess try and make a few friends."
As we got into the elevator he hit the button for the fifth floor, when we arrived he led us down the hall there where two rooms next to each other. They already had name plates next to the one with my name the other with Sophia's.
"Here you go this will be your new home from this point on. I will see you all at school tomorrow." Azazel said as he walked of back down the hallway.
"Lets see what these rooms look like, yours first mister!" Sophia said excited.
"Ehh I guess," I opened the door to a grand bedchamber the room was massive with a bed in the far center of the room. The bed must have been king size it had a beautiful canopy design. Behind the bed was a massive window that looked out towards the town. It had a door that linked her room to mine off to the right side, and a door to the bathroom off to the left side of the room.
Authors Note: Just look at Issei's bedroom post renovation it looks just like that.
"This is certainly befitting someone from our position in our hierarchy." She spoke as she ran around the room exploring. When she reached the door that led to her room, she found it was an exact copy of mine. "Ohh? And I get easy accesses to bug you anytime I want? THIS IS PERFECT!"
Just then there was a knock on her door as we both walked over to open the door there was a blond girl I think her name was Asia standing at the door carrying a brown box. "H-hello again mister Azazel told me to bring this to you guys." We could already smell what was inside and smiled unintentionally showing our fangs. "Eep!" she put down the box and started to walk away.
"Wait! I didn't mean to scare you we just got excited from the smell of food." I called out to her
"O-oh well your welcome! I will see you guys in the morning." she replied before running off.
"Well Its time for bed lets get some food and then go to sleep." Sophia picked up the box and brought it to the nearest table and opened it up. Inside were a couple of blood bags she grabbed two and tossed them over to me.
I went back to my room with my bags and drank them both. I finally laid down for the night thinking about all that had transpired today. Letting exhaustion finally come over me I fell asleep.
Time Skip Morning Time
I woke up to someone banging on my door "Its time for breakfast wake up!`" someone said from the other side of my door. I walked over and open the door to see the brown haired pawn of Rias Gremory. "Finally you know how long I have been trying to wake you. I have to show you both to the dinning room now I have to get her up and you will be the one to do it."
I shrugged and proceeded to go to back into my room to the door that linked our rooms together. I opened the door to see her still asleep from the door way I spoke to her trying to wake her. "Hey Sophia its time to get up, we have to get ready for this school."
She didn't even budge so I walked a little into her room and tried again. "Hey come on lets get up we have things to do." this time with some success as she tossed and turned away from me still lying in bed. I sighed and walked up to the bed "WAKE UP!"
Not even a second later her dark red eyes snapped open, her fangs out and jumped on me. "Don't wake me up like that!"
"Whoa hold on I was just trying to get you to come join everyone for breakfast," I replied as I sweat dropped a little. My face then got red from the position we were in. I was laid flat on my back while she was staring at me with her dark hair hiding her striking red eyes that where glaring down upon me.
"Fine lets go." she got off me and looked towards the door where Issei stood and watched the whole interaction she snarled at him baring her fangs. "What are you looking at? Will be out in a minute." he quickly nodded and left the room.
"come on lets get some food I'm starving." she said offering a had to me to help me to my feet. I grabbed her hand and she lifted me up with ease.
"You know you didn't have to scare him, he was only trying to help." I said while looking at her.
"He had no reason to come in to MY room while I was sleeping. As far as I'm concerned that's reason enough to scare him," she responded. We walked out of the door into the hallway to see Issei still waiting for us.
"Alright lets go" Issei said guiding us down the hallway towards the elevator.
I looked to Sophia "You weren't mad at me for going in you room while you were sleeping like you were at him where you?" she suddenly grabbed my hand as we were walking and looked back at me.
"That's different I have to get used to being around you at all times. After all we are going to be married." she said before she looked away for the moment. Before turning back to me "It will take time but I think we can make this work between us."
I blushed "She really wants to try to have a real relationship between us not just a political union." We finally reached the dining room it had a long table and the room led
into the large kitchen.
Everyone was already in the dinning room with a plate of food in front of them but they where waiting for us to eat. There where two open seats next to each other with a large glass filled with a red liquid that immediately had my full attention.
"Good morning you two, you guys ready for your first day in school?" Rias spoke up from her spot at the table. Sophia and I walked to our seats holding hands before sitting down.
"I wonder what kind of hell awaits us," As I stared at my glass with hunger. "Are we good to start eating? I noticed no has touched there food yet." I said while looking over towards the red head.
"Oh yes please do start we were just waiting for you both to join us." she opened her arms as if to present her peerage again to us. She then started to eat her breakfast which gave us the Que to do the same. Sophia and I both wasted no time in starting to drink our delightful glasses.
"So both of you are real royalty huh?" Issei asked while looking at us. "With actual castles and everything."
Sophia let her glass fall back to the table and gave him a bloodied smile. "Indeed we are does being high in hierarchy something that interest you as a dragon emperor?" she asked.
Suddenly Issei's arms was covered in a crimson gauntlet "Of course! One day I will become the HAREM KING!" I proceeded to choke on my meal and laughed while Sophia looked at Issei with disgust. Not noticing the look he was getting from her he asked "I don't have a vampire in my harem would you like to join?"
I glared at him in anger, "Do not forget she is my fiance you pervert." I told him in a heated tone as I gave her a hand a small squeeze.
"O-oh Right!" Issei sheepishly replied while scratching the back of his head. "Sorry about that."
"Why did my partner have to such a pervert!" Draig cried out from the armored arm. Immediately after he spoke up my irritation left me and pity set in for the famed red dragon. From there everyone finished there dinner and went to there respective rooms to get dressed for school.
LINE BREAK – Arrival to School
As we walked towards the school other students were staring at us. Some were even starting new rumors thanks to my hearing as a vampire I could hear them all. "Who are those two new people walking with that perverted menace and our beautiful queen?" As soon as I grabbed Sophia's hand the rumors immediately made me chuckle to myself.
Sophia looked at me and smiled, "She looks beautiful when she smiles like that." I thought while looking into her beautiful crimson eyes. Before looking towards Rias while walking hand in hand with Sophia."We are finally here huh, look at all of these fresh necks." I joked with a laugh as Sophia started to chuckle next to me.
Rias looked at me as if trying to decide if I was serious or not before laughing too. "Issei, show them to the student council and then show them to there classes." as everyone started to separate and go to there classes Issei took us to the student council. There we got all of our text books as well as our school schedules which happened to match Issei's.
We followed Issei to his home room class he told us to wait outside for a moment. He walked in and talked to Rossweisse a moment before going to his desk. She then started to walk towards the door to let us in.
"Alright I'm going to have you two introduce yourselves to the class" as she led us into the class room everyone was staring at us.
I was the first to go, I bowed "My name is Dragos Tepes I am from Romania, I am new here"
Immediately there was talking around the class before some one asked, "Are you thee Dragos as in the Prince of the royal family."
"I am indeed." I replied as Sophia walked up next to me and grabbed my hand. She looked to me and then back to the class.
"My name is Sophia Carmilla pleased to make you acquaintance" as she did a quick bow to the class. The class again in chaos in realization that they were both royalty and if the news on TV was accurate recently then they were just engaged. They just stared at us in awe as we made our way to our seats which were conveniently next to each other. As class settled in so did my boredom I looked over to Sophia who seemed to be bored as well.
I looked over to see Issei talking to two other male students whom seemed to be mad at him. I shrugged as I was about to look away I saw there eyes land on Sophia with a look of longing. I stared back with my crimson eyes having a slight glow. They Immediately looked away and at Issei to continue there conversation.
I chuckled to my self before Sophia gave a quick squeeze to my hand. I looked to her and she was giving me a look of amusement. "I guess she saw my look to Issei's friends haha." I just smirked back to her.
Time Skip - Lunch Time
"Well I guess we should head to their club room so we can eat." I said as I was looking at the other students. I new I was getting hungry when my gaze started to drift to their necks. I looked at her and she seemed to be in the same state as me so I grabbed her hand and started my way to the club room we arrived in yesterday.
She looked at me again with another look of amusement. "You gave those two boys a good scare just by glaring at them and what for? They looked at me to long?"
I looked at her with and chuckled "Don't think I didn't see you glare at a few girls yourself sweetie." she blushed but I couldn't tell weather it was because I caught her to or the nickname.
We quickly made our way to the club room to find Azazel waiting for us. He was sitting at the main desk leaning back in the chair with his feet kicked up onto the desk.
"I figured the Vamps would come here when they got hungry" he said looking at us. "No students that I have to find with wholes in there neck right?"
"Funny Azazel, I thought I told you yesterday that we would refrain so long as you keep up the supply." I said looking at him before he pointed to the coffee table by the couch where there were two glasses and red bags sitting on it.
"I'm a man of my word and just wait until you see what Ajuka and I cook up for you and your kind." Azazel Smirked. "Imagine not having to be reliant on humans as you are for survival."
"As I told you before Old man I will believe it when I see it." I told him before indulging my self to lunch. "I didn't realize that students here would be able to find out that we are royalty so quickly."
"I may or may not have announced your arrival to the local news." Azazel laughed before drinking what looked like whiskey. "I have to say I'm curious they say that you royal families have different bloodline abilities what is yours?"
Sophia spoke up, "No offense but why would we need to tell you? We barely know you."
"True, True I guess I'll just have to find out in the future then." Azazel responded "So, How do you like attending a human school?"
"Its a waste of time I should be training to prepare for the fight against these terrorists." I looked at him with a look of irritation. I looked to the woman at my side before I got lost in thought, "well it has been useful for me to get to know her some more."
"Yea I figured as much, That's why your training will begin tonight." I looked at him with a look of shock. "One of my subordinates really wants to fight you so he will be joining us in training." he stood up and started to walk to the exit of the club room "You can go ahead and sleep the rest of the classes away in here. Trust me you will need to be rested up for the training I have planned." he said as he left the room.
Sophia and I looked at each other and nodded we cuddled up on the couch and fell asleep.

I know not quite 5k words but still. Anyway I have a few things in mind for bloodline abilities but I would love suggestions. I Plan to only upload twice a month so I can keep putting out 5k chapters.
