2. Chapter 2

The Parents

2 hours later

It had been 2 hours since Nova had left to go and talk to his parents, But what he feared was the story Nova told earlier. It was grim, like how the human he accepted to be his friend had stopped talking to him, and what happened after was the grim part, the human went missing that day. The last he saw her was with Nova that same day, and when he pulled out a sandclaws eye and kept it. Nova keeps his own chest with stuff in it. Skyfire remembers what was in the chest, it had a nightclaw scale that didn't look like Nova, four random objects one a band that looked like it fit his tail, a band that had a skyfire in it that looked like it could fit Nova's arm, and one looking like a small spear, the last of all the objects was a scroll that had words on it? Skyfire could not read what the scroll said, but Skyfire didn't like the look Nova gave Skyfire when he tried to touch it.

"Skyfire we're ready." Nova said, waking up Skyfire, "Let me be more demanding, Go to the living room." Nova reasserted. Recently Nova has been becoming more and more dark. He had been drawing humans dead on the ground with a pool of blood all around the human. It was like Nova was getting more and more blood hungry, Skyfire had seen him cutting himself and saying it's all in good fun. Skyfire thought it was because Nova was not able to feel pain in his body, but maybe he was wrong. Recently Nova had gotten so dark that he took a tiny spear to cut a human's hand off, the human was at the healing center for a mouth. Nova was banned from that private school and returned to Skyfire's, which he did not seem to like.

Skyfire was walking with a darker, more creepy looking Nova. As soon as Skyfire walked into the living room he saw the same weird human from when he entered the house starring agape. Skyfire also saw two fairly large looking humans, one an iceclaw and the other looked like half nightclaw and half sandclaw. "So is this your friend you've talked about?" The iceclaw said with a hint of distaste, skyfire felt as if she had seen him before, "yes mother this is Skyfire of the skyclaws." Nova stated coldly. Skyfire got that Nova and his mother didn't like one another or ever got along at all. "Son that's not nice, I know you can't tell your mother is upset right now but she is, and trust me you won't like it when she's sad or mad." Nova's father said he's done this dozens of times. "Wait, what do you mean by he can't tell his mother's feelings?" Skyfire said. "Because I'm alexithymia and a congenital analgesia you ugly skyclaw." Nova said with a darker tone than any other bad thing that's happened to him. "Fine I'll go, just let me use the bathroom. Skyfire didn't have to use the bathroom, what he was doing was taking the scroll from Nova's chest.

When Skyfire entered the room it had what looked like a large bed, a shelf which had books on it, but the books were not for kid's but for some of the teachers at his school, And there was the chest on the ground lined with what looked like gold. Skyfire hesitated, then opened the chest and there the scroll was with what looked like more than a dozen objects, some he saw before but others like a digger that was unlife-like in size being as large as Skyfire's arm. The last one was a weird looking stuff with a iceclawly looking stone at the top with a wraith look to it, Skyfire could take the stuff and the scroll but the stuff looked far more heavy for a normal human to hold, only an amius could make themself that powerful.

Skyfire had a feeling that maybe nova knew another amius or worse he may be the amius, If the objects in here were enchanted there would have taken all of his soul by now. Enchments had always made Skyfire have darker thoughts, like how one time he wanted to kill a human just for fun. Skyfire stopped having those thoughts when he did something nice, but Nova's outlook on the world was different from Skyfire's. Nova always thought that the world was bad and there's no such thing as good.

Skyfire got out of that thought train he needed the scroll so he could see what it was enchanted with. That was when Skyfire heard Nova say, "Well well well skyfire, you like what I have there a lot of stuff that can kill people, you know that right." Skyfire sat up to look Nova in the eyes, "Why would you keep this from me Nova." Skyfire said, upset. "Well because I know you'll get over protective of when and when not I use my powers." Nova said with a hint that he wanted to kill right there. "What are you going to kill me you you monster!" Skyfire said as loud as he could. Skyfire saw Nova move back a little before shaking his head. "My tiny trace of kindness for your family is gone, you and your family will wish you were dead when I'm finished." Nova sat there looking with a grim smile on his face.
