Hey guys! It's been a while… 8 years to be exact.
I've decided to start a new fanfic of some short disability/ illness/ injured Sonic one shots. Because, I have been a fan of an imperfect Sonic portrayal for almost 20 years now. I love to imagine Sonic living with a life changing disability, or show how he would cope living with illness, etc.
I've chosen one shots, as I have a short attention span and get bored half way through writing regular stories. I'm going to portray Sonic living with all sorts of different disabilities and illnesses.
I wasn't going to post these, as almost all these stories are going to lack any plot and most stories are going to be extremely similar, but I figured, some people might enjoy them anyway!
Please be kind. I'm not an author, my stories are going to be very basic with no fancy words or plots. Criticism typically scares me off haha.
I do not mean any offence by any of the disabilities or illnesses mentioned in this story, I'm going to be posting some stronger, more emotional subjects, for example, Sonic being discriminated for being disabled, Tails being bullied for having learning difficulties, etc. If you are easily upset or offended by this kind of thing, then these one shots may not be for you. I myself have a disability, and have been cruelly discriminated my entire life.
My information of all disabilities and illnesses mentioned in these one shots are likely to be incorrect in many circumstances, as I'm not a doctor, I'm judging each individual case on quick Google searches of symptoms. After all, these are fictional stories so don't need to be 100% accurate :)
And lastly, I would love to hear your suggestions! Do you have a particular disability, illness or injury you would like me to tackle in the form of Sonic and Tails? (must be Sonic and Tails, no other character) please let me know your suggestion in a review or private message!
