Devil's Halo
By SMYGO4EVA
Kurapika felt his body lurch forward, his knees smacking to the ground, his arms and legs bloody.
He knew it was over.
Tserriednich looked upon him with an arrogant smile, the flow of his aura in perfect control, pulsating with such raw power. He threw aside his weapon, it was no use to him now.
His Nen Beast loomed over the Prince and Kurapika, its form most foul, their barbed tongue outstretched, ready to strike. It did not belong in this world, and what was worse, it could not be contained.
Kurapika could only grit his teeth, narrowing his eyes, his vision blurred, his fingernails digging into the palm of his hand.
"You might as well just give up. The Scarlet eyes are all mine, and you had your chance to bring them back, but you failed." Tserriednich spoke, kneeling down so that he would see Kurapika eye to eye.
"This was your purpose, and being without purpose in this world, well, let's just say that in my world, you're as good as dead." He reached out and his hand touched Kurapika's cheek, who glared daggers at the Prince.
Without purposeā¦..
The Prince's hand felt soft and deathly cold against his skin.
Kurapika took a breath, and he locked eyes with Tserriednich, his eyes the scarlet ones the Prince collected so many, so many of his clan.
He then slowly smiled.
"You have a valid point, Tserriednich, but as you can tell, we're not in your world, are we?"
His eyes then glowed a crimson red.
