Tsuna could never sleep at night because of monsters that lived haunting the surroundings of his home, which, unfortunately, was close to a cursed forest. However, when he finds a curious doll outside his home, he feels safe as never before, and ends up developing affection for him. R27,Live Doll!Reborn,Bearer!Tsunayoshi.

Tsunayoshi Sawada,a boy of 15 years old, or better known as Dame-Tsuna, lived near a village, and unfortunately, closer to a cursed forest. Tsuna never liked the idea of living near a cursed forest, but his father didn't seem to understand the dangers, and his mother was too ignorant for her own good. It seemed that only he was aware of the monsters out there, even though everyone already knew what lived there, and that made him question his parents' sanity, thinking of living with his son near this place.But again, what could I do? Well, he started setting traps around his house, with the help of his father, saying that it was for hunting reasons, as many small animals passed through there.This made his father proud, saying that 'your son is turning into a man!', being that it was just to protect these two airheads. He wasn't very smart, but he still managed to use what he knew to his advantage. He started doing this as a daily thing, and the monsters started to notice it, and gradually moved away from the house. But of course, that would never stop them from having a hunt in the house. And to make matters worse, his classmates bullied him, talking about how 'Dame' he was for living near the forest. It wasn't like he wanted to, damn it! Sighing, Tsuna simply took the insults every day, and even got beaten up a few times when he wasn't smart or quick enough to avoid it, and didn't want to worry his mother, saying that he got hurt falling from somewhere, or that he was accidentally hit by a ball. To make matters worse, the boy had no friends, and he felt excluded from everyone and everything. One day, returning from school, he hears footsteps behind him. He already knew what it was, so he turned around to see Mochida and his group. Mochida smiles "Now now, let's see who we have here. Dame-Tsuna, walking alone as usual. You'd like some company, wouldn't you? Come on, guys. Let's turn this sad face upside down." Tsuna wastes no time and runs away, hearing Mochida scream behind him 'let's go, run after him!'. Tsuna runs like never before in his life, and he sees that they are even throwing rocks, trying to hit him. He starts crying in despair. He doesn't want to be beaten again. He doesn't want that. He just wants to be safe! Why can't he ever feel safe? And, without noticing, Tsuna ends up walking into the forest. Mochida and the others stop at the entrance of the forest, and take a few steps back, afraid of what is inside, already knowing its dangers. One of the boys turns to Mochida "Mochida, do we leave Tsuna inside without telling anyone? I know we mess with him, but even that is beyond our limits" Mochida swallows saliva, with a worried face "I know, I know! But what can we do? No adults get in there! Once inside, no one comes back! And if we tell you how it happened, we're screwed!" Everyone looks at each other, and like cowards, they run away without telling what happened. Tsuna continues to run and cry, until his breath runs out. Deciding to stop to rest, he leans against a tree and sits down. Looking around, he notices that he has entered very deep into the forest, and slowly begins to notice that this is the cursed forest, and then, sadness beats once again in his heart.That was it, he was dead. No one went in and out of the forest alive. Whoever walked in here was a total fool. And guess what, Dame-Tsuna walked in. He wanted to hope that his parents would go after him,but and decided not to wish it. He just hoped his parents would live to the fullest when he was no longer in this world. Heaving a sigh, with tears in his eyes, he decides to talk to himself "Heh, in the end, I'm going to die, like the Dame-Tsuna that I am... Dad... Mom... I'm sorry..." Reflecting for a while, his eyes begin to wander through the forest. Then, her eyes notice something yellow, glowing faintly. He decides to go there. Really stupid? Yes, but only if he was outside the forest, but as we can see, he is inside, and he has nothing left to lose but his life. He looks back at the doll, then picks up the fedora and puts it back on his head, carefully leaving it neatly on the doll's head. He sees a note fall to the floor, so he crouches and picks it up, reading it, which reads 'Ciao, my name is Reborn, and this is my partner Leon! Nice to meet you!' and turn your attention to the doll "So your name is Reborn? You're...very handsome, Reborn... But who is Leon?" Soon, Tsuna sees the leaves on his feet move, and he walks away, scared. Then he sees a small reptile climb the tree in front of him and turn towards him, sticking out its tongue. Tsuna is surprised at first, but doesn't feel threatened by the little creature, extending his hand, letting him climb on it"So your name is Leon? What are you? You seem to be some kind of reptile... Could it be that you are a chameleon?" The little chameleon sticks out its tongue and winks, and Tsuna takes that as a yes "Well, nice to meet you Leon. You're pretty cute even!" Tsuna caresses Leon, and the little one simply enjoys the affection "I'm glad I met you two... I wanted to take you both home, but I know it's impossible... Like you, I'm stuck in this forest... And I doubt anyone will come after me... I'm so sorry" Soon, they feel the cold wind hit them, making both Leon and Tsuna shiver. Tsuna looks at Leon, and sees the little one shaking a lot "Oh, that's right! Reptiles are sensitive to cold because of their cold blood... Here, let me help you" Tsuna takes the small chameleon and puts it inside his coat, only leaving its small head out. Slowly, Leon begins to stop shivering, and feels more comfortable with his body heat "I wonder how you two ended up here... Oh well, I'm glad you at least stopped shaking. You can stay there as long as you want. Too bad I won't live long enough to help you.Winter is coming, and I don't think I'll survive until I find a home that repels the cold... I'm sorry, again" Tsuna slowly begins to fall asleep, carefully holding the doll and the chameleon "Well, it was nice meeting you Leon, Reborn. Take care, ok?" And Tsuna sleeps, accepting that it will be less painful if he dies in his sleep. But then, when he sleeps, the yellow pacifier shines brighter and brighter, and Leon understands this, looking happy with what will happen.

Tsuna finds himself waking up to the comforting sound of a roaring fireplace. He feels the comfort of a blanket on his body, and a pillow under his head. Tsuna sees his father enter the room and be surprised, and then goes to him "My dear Tuna-Fish! You scared me! You can't sleep outside, even more unsupervised, and in the cold!" Tsuna is confused, looking at him as if he were crazy. But then he notices and decides to ask "Father, did you go into the cursed forest to get me?" Lemitsu looks at him, a little confused by the question "What do you mean, Tsuna? You were sleeping over there by the apple tree!" Tsuna is shocked, but now he had more questions on his mind than before, but then he looks at Reborn, and smiles. Lemitsu notices his son's smile, and looks at the doll "Tell me, where did you get this doll from? You didn't steal it from anyone, did you? It seems very expensive for us to have one like this" Tsuna is surprised by the question, but soon answers "No, I found Reborn in the forest, Dad! He was abandoned, and he was with Leon!" Lemitsu is surprised that his son didn't run away at the sight of the little creature, as he felt threatened by several things. Smiling, he looks at Tsuna "Oh, so you adopted a pet and a lost doll? Who knew my son liked these things! But why the surprise, you're my sweet, innocent, cute son!" Lemitsu throws himself and hugs the boy as he says this, and Tsuna decides to spare Reborn and Leon from that by putting him aside before they are crushed together with the boy. His honey eyes gaze at the doll, and he could have sworn a glint of jealousy had passed through those eyes, even though he was sure that dolls had no conscience. After finishing the hug, Lemitsu leaves to warn Nana and bring food to Tsuna and Leon, and both the boy and the chameleon look at each other and smile. Tsuna turns the doll, smiles and says "Thanks Reborn. For getting me out of there. You don't know how grateful I am." And again, he could have sworn that doll had a look of pride in her eyes, even though he was pretty sure it was just his imagination.

After that day, Tsuna feels that the dangers around his house have drastically decreased, and he has started to get more and more attached to the doll. He took care of him with extreme care,always fixing your fedora, dusting and leaving it clean. He could have sworn that every time he took good care of himself or Leon, the yellow pacifier glowed, but he wasn't entirely sure. Sometimes, when he changed to go to school or sleep, he felt eyes watching him as carefully as possible, and when he looked around to see where he came from, he never found out who it was. He always slept with the doll, and for Leon, he created a warm little cave made of wood and with several pieces of soft clothing. Sometimes, Tsuna could swear he felt someone hugging him back, with great affection and care, running their hands through his hair and face, as if he were a unique and priceless porcelain. And when he opened his eyes, all he saw was the doll. Tsuna never wanted to separate from the doll. Because, for the first time in years, he felt more secure than ever before. He didn't need to wake up in the middle of the night to check for a monster outside, he didn't need to set traps anymore (but he did it just in case),and you no longer have to worry about your two airhead parents getting eaten in the middle of the night. It was okay. He was safe once more.

After that, he started to very slowly improve his school grades. He was now able to concentrate on classes, do his homework, and now he was more motivated than anything. And with that, Tsunayoshi Sawada was happy.But unfortunately, the boy couldn't keep himself happy, as others didn't accept this change from him. After all, after that, he managed to become friends with Takeshi Yamamoto, one of the popular kids at school, who was a swordsman-in-training, and Gokudera Hayato,an Italian student from another city, who was also popular with girls, and had a great intelligence, even if he had his rebellious attitude. All it took was for Tsuna to communicate with the two and show some hope and kindness, and it made them want to go wherever he went. One boy, Mochida, as much as he was relieved to know that Tsuna never commented to anyone about the chase until he entered the forest, and that he was alive,but he didn't like the boy's new attitude.And he was going to make sure it spoiled his happiness, but he had to find out where it came from to get rid of it. Following the three, he overhears the boys' conversation,with Gokudera getting curious "Hey Judaiime, why do you take this doll with you wherever you go?" Takeshi is also curious "Really, you changed when you found this doll and started bringing it around. Is it a special gift you got?" Tsuna giggles, picking up Reborn and holding tight, but gently "To answer your question, no, I found him in the woods, and he's been my friend since forever. I feel safe when I'm with him... Tsuna finished feeding the chameleon, It looked like it was gorging on food. The little one goes and lies down, hiding in the warm soft comfort of clothes. Tsuna smiles, and goes to bed, taking the doll. He sighs and smiles when he sees Leon sleeping, and he turns the doll and keeps smiling "No matter how much I look at you, you really are beautiful Reborn... Now that I think about it, I never really thanked you properly... it's kind of embarrassing but... I guess it works like a thank you" The boy holds the doll carefully, and then he places his soft lips on the doll's cloth cheek. For a moment, Tsuna felt a human warmth as he placed his lip, but the boy dismissed it. His cheeks heat up, and he decides to lie down on the bed, while he holds Reborn in his arms, covering himself with the blanket "Anyway...g-good Night, Reborn..." And then, Tsuna closes her eyes and sleeps. Minutes pass, and when silence is absolute, the doll moves, crawling out from under the covers, and he looks at the boy sleeping peacefully. He then takes his pacifier, which turns him into a human. The man, Reborn, smiles and runs his fingers over the boy's face, looking at him as if he were the most beautiful thing in the world. He sees the boy shudder as he runs his playful fingers across his neck, and smiles. He blows lightly in the boy's face, who lets out another low, annoyed moan "Dame-Tsuna... You already gave me more than I gave you. Too bad you don't know what I want most... Get rid of this damn curse" Reborn sees Leon leave his little house. Extending his hand, he lets Leon climb on top of him and stick out his tongue, which makes Reborn stop smiling and get serious "That damn witch... She told me that I would only get rid of the curse if I showed that I cared about anyone other than myself. I'm not already doing this? I've been taking care of this boy and his family for months now. What am I doing wrong?" The chameleon blinks, now half sad for its owner. Reborn sighs, and shakes his head "I get it, I get it... Maybe it will take time for the curse to go away. Until then, I'll take care of the boy and his mother. His father is an idiot, though, so I don't really care about him." The chameleon sticks out its tongue in agreement and is placed back in its comfort. Returning to Tsuna, Reborn watches him, then lies down beside him. The man approaches and kisses the boy's forehead "Good night,Dame-Tsuna"And he reverts back to his cursed doll form, and approaches and holds on to the boy.

Tsuna walked with Yamamoto and Gokudera by his side, talking and having fun. As usual, Gokudera tries to fight Yamamoto with dynamite, and Yamamoto insults him by calling them 'party firecrackers'. Tsuna only sees the situation getting worse, and he continues to hold Reborn carefully. Suddenly, a group of boys walk by and grab Reborn by force of his hands "Hey! Give it back to me!"Yamamoto and Gokudera stop fighting to see Tsuna being implicated by one of Mochida's henchmen, who smiles upon receiving the doll "Playing house, Dame-Tsuna? I knew you were Dame, but that's ridiculous enough. Who knew you'd fall so far after ending up in the cursed forest." Takeshi and Gokudera are already approaching to protect and support Tsuna, with Yamamoto starting to speak "Hey, give this back to Tsuna! This is important to him!" Gokudera takes a step forward with Yamamoto "I hate to agree with this baseball maniac, but it's true! Return the Judaiime doll before we make you regret it!" Mochida gets serious "It's better not to get involved in the fight between me and Tsuna, or else..." Mochida pulls out sharp scissors, ready to rip the doll "I'll rip the doll to pieces" Gokudera and Yamamoto are shocked and even hesitant. Gokudera and Yamamoto try to advance, but are soon stopped by Mochida with his words "And if Gokudera or Yamamoto help, or you refuse and fight back, I'll make sure that doll never comes back, Sawada" Gokudera shakes angrily, saying something like 'damn...', and Yamamoto doesn't move, but if looks could kill, you can be sure they would have done so long ago. Tsuna sighs and nods in agreement. Mochida smiles at that, and passes the doll and scissors to the henchmen, and then punches Tsuna in the stomach, making him fall to his knees. Gokudera and Yamamoto tremble together,as they watch their friend being punched and kicked, and they can only feel useless that they can't do anything. Tsuna gets hit by Mochida, and he can already see the purples all over his body later. He wants to cry but refuses. And this only seems to irritate Mochida more and more, as she remembers the boy begging for mercy while crying in despair and pain. Mochida's henchmen laugh at Tsuna's pain, commenting something like 'just like old times'. When this is over, Gokudera and Yamamoto silently agree that they will never let that happen again. One of the henchmen notices Reborn's fedora moving, and when he takes it out, he is startled by a chameleon that jumps in his face,making him scream "AAHH! GET THAT GEKOO OUT OF MY FACE!" One of the henchmen picks it up and throws it to the ground, causing Tsuna to be surprised, and Gokudera and Yamamoto stay alert. Mochida looks at the little one with disgust "What a disgusting animel. It won't matter if I just crush it" As he lifts his foot and goes to crush Leon, Tsuna throws himself and protects him with his body, preventing him from being crushed, causing everyone to be surprised, and this annoys Mochida even more "Are you okay Leon?"Leon shows his tongue and licks Tsuna's cheek, making him feel relieved. He grunts in pain again when he is stepped on by Mochida "Did I tell you it was supposed to move, you idiot?! First you bring a stupid doll, then you make friends with people clearly superior to you, and now you've created a backbone!?" He continues to receive kicks and more kicks, and Tsuna stands his ground not to let him hurt Leon and to avoid crushing him as well. And in the midst of it all, Reborn watched with shock what the boy did. The boy who has been taking care of him and his traveling companion Leon would give his life to protect them. Of course, Reborn could fight back, but he was seeing how far the boy would go for them,but he didn't expect it to go that far. But the last straw was when Mochida kicked Tsuna away, causing him to fall to the ground and hit him, and he could see the blood running down in his face. Reborn's pacifier starts to glow a radiant yellow, as if it were the sun, catching everyone's attention "No one hurts Tsuna like that and gets away with it!" The light radiates and makes everyone cover their faces, trying to prevent the light from getting into their eyes, but Tsuna is the only one not to do that, but rather, watching the light in awe and surprise. The next thing he knows, Mochida's henchmen are defeated, thrown aside as the light slowly dims, and Mochida, Gokudera, Yamamoto and Tsuna see the man in front of them. Leon goes straight to him, and the man crouches down and takes Leon in his hand, and looks at Mochida with a death glare "You should have left a long time ago... Now, I won't spare you, you insolent brat" Yamamoto and Gokudera pick up Tsuna and lift him up, as they watch Leon turn a weapon in Reborn's hands, aiming at Mochida. Mochida is too scared to move "Sayonara, scum of the earth" And then, when Reborn goes to pull the trigger, he instantly hesitates when he hears a voice say 'WAIT!', bringing his attention to the trio, with Tsuna extending his hand to Reborn. Reborn is confused, but Tsuna continues "Reborn, don't do this... You won't be better than him... It's not worth it... Please..." Reborn uses his calculating eyes and watches him and then looks at Mochida, who was trembling where she was. Leon turns the chameleon again, and Reborn crouches down and picks up his Fedora, putting it back on his head. He then looks at Mochida "Get out, and never return to our presence again" Mochida runs off without looking back. Tsuna sighs happily, and then loses consciousness...

Months later, things stabilize. Tsuna and her parents move out of the house, and now, she has one more presence living in the house with them. Lemitsu looks at Reborn angrily, while Nana smiles at him. Tsuna feels like he can cut the tension in the air with a butter knife, and he's tempted to do so, as he looks at Lemitsu, Nana, and then Reborn, while stroking Leon's head. The silence is soon broken by Nana "I don't see a problem with that, in fact, I'm happy even!" Lemitsu slams his hand on the table, pointing at Reborn as threateningly as he can,Which doesn't work, as Reborn ignores it "But I don't! And I don't care about that! I refuse, you hear?! If you want this, it will be over my dead body!" To be honest, Tsuna just got back from shopping so he doesn't know what's going on so he looks at Reborn "you can't decide that. Tsuna is the one who should choose whether or not" Deciding to end this mystery, Tsuna intrudes, arriving with Leon on his shoulder "Uh, excuse me, but accept what, Reborn?" His father advances on Tsuna and holds him protectively "You will not take my innocent son!" Tsuna looks confused at Reborn, who sighs and starts to explain "Tsuna, I asked your parents, but I want a definitive answer from you. Do you want to go with me wherever I go? But know that this doesn't just mean walking around the world, but if you want to be mine." Lemitsu gives him a death glare, Tsuna gives a bright smile, Reborn smiles fondly at the boy, while Nana laughs softly "Well, now we have to let him have Reborn, honey. But first, I want to say something about this, Reborn." Reborn turns his attention to Nana "I would like you to wait for Tsuna to be an adult before they get married?" Reborn hums bass, then speaks "Maybe I can wait, but I'll stick around him and go where he goes. I don't want to lose my future partner anytime soon." Lemitsu holds his son tighter, Nana agrees, and Tsuna laughs, as much as he is irritated by his father's attachment. But looking at Reborn, who gives him a happy look...

Tsuna feels that things will maybe get better from now on.
