"Mmmmm, these burritoes are really good, mami does my hermana Luz love them too." Vee asked
"I'm glad you love them mija and si, Luz does like them, when we'd have them." Camila replied to her
"Maybe when she comes home, we can have burritoes together." Vee replied to her getting messy making Camila giggling handing her an napkin so she could wipe her pinkish-purplish chin knowing she was loving being here, only something crossed her mind hoping Vee might becable to answer her question.
"What's the Boiling Isles like." she asked her seeing an nervous expression on her face as she explained the Boiling Isles were magical isles populated by witches, demons and other magical creatures seeing Camila's eyes widening at Vee's description of where Luz was feeling Vee hug her, understabding her concern.
"Lo sientos mami, Luz is very strong and spirited so no way that control-freak, Belos can stop her." she assured her making Camila relieved hearing this as it was Saturday night but they were hanging out together hoping Luz was okay, only Vee hanging out with her made her feel better, as they were watching movies together including the Azora movies, seeing her adopted daughter's eyes go wide reminding her of Luz's reaction after she'd finished the first Azora book her dad left her.
"I see why my sis loves Azora so much, it gives her hope." Vee told Camila hearing her chuckle.
Later that night, Camila was lying awake thinking about Lyz hearing the door open, seeing Vee enter with hot cocoa stunning Camila and surprised that she'd made her it, to make her feel better knowing she was trying to help but in her Luz form adding to her helping with the comfort sitting on the bed.
"Gracias honey, it helps, plus you should work on thijgs like your magic, and I appreciate this sweetie and love you're part of our family." Camila told her kissing her head which made her feel warm inside lying on her bed getting sleepy which made Camila happy falling asleep too.
Camila awoke the next morning, hearing the smoke-alarms going off, running downstairs seeing Vee with a fire-extinguisher realising looking at the stove realising what she'd been trying to do seeing Vee looking freaked hearing her laugh making her confused thinking she was in trouble, seeing Camila grin.
"I'm not mad at you sweetie, I know your heart was in the right place plus proud of you for putting out the fire using a fire-extinguisher but let me help you." she said to her making Vee relieved that Camila wasn't mad at her, putting the burnt pancakes in the trash-can hoping they wouldn't make any animals sick makijg Vee curious, about what she did.
"I'm a vet honey, I look after animals that are hurt or sick." she told her impressing Vee that her human mother had a cool job seeing Camila's cheeks go pink at this guessing mayge, she could bring her to work with her as they were making pancakes together which they were loving seeing Vee trip over her tail running to the fridge, to get the condiments for pancakes, making Camila ask, if she was alright
"I'm okay, I was too excited, I guess." she said letting her help her up.
