"I had nothing to do with it, he fell down some stairs."

"...what?"

In hindsight, I probably should've just disposed of the body properly before leaving. Eh, not much of a big deal. As I gazed at Hawkgirl, an analysis of her flashed through my mind. But more than that, her power has been mimicked. It is my power now.

If I had a mouth at the moment, the grin on my face would be a devilishly wide one right now, and also likely to trigger her into attacking me. Though it wouldn't be much of a worry anymore. Shayera is no threat to me now. But there's no reason not to be civil with her now, is there?

"I'm telling the truth here lady. He tripped!"

"You can't expect me to believe that someone in power armor could just trip and fall down some stairs to break their neck." She said, disbelief in her voice.

"There were a lot of stairs, it was a big house you know. And sure he was in armor, but he didn't even have a helmet on. You have a helmet but I don't see it protecting your neck now do I? With that poor quality of protection, you'd be just as vulnerable as he would!" I explained. Though it seemed that she wasn't too happy with the insult to her helmet judging by her glare carrying a more angry heat than icy suspicion.

"Do not mock the quality of my helmet! This helmet is worn as a standard by a proud race of warriors! It has served us well time after time against mighty and innumerable foes!" She argued, offended at the disrespect to her culture before realizing what she was saying. She closed her eyes and took a breath before opening them again. "We're not discussing my helmet here. We're discussing Luthor."

"And besides the lack of a proper helmet, his neck guard was broken too so that fat neck of his couldn't keep him safe for long," I said as I held the body up, a large chunk of his neck guard missing along with the area where the neck snapped.

She narrowed her eyes at the dead body in my grasp, especially scrutinizing the neck. "... I'll admit, that does give your story some substance. But would you care to explain how you found Luthor like that?"

"Simple. He barged into my home, uninvited and breaking my damn door at that. Then he went around demanding that my father fix his armor and snooping all over the place, which was how he walked up a flight of stairs, had a seizure or something, then tripped and fell down the stairs. By the time I got to him, he was already at the bottom of the stair and dead."

She narrowed her eyes at me. It was a ridiculous situation but it did fit up with how Luthor is, and more importantly, how he was the last time that she saw him. An injured man in urgent need of some form of medical assistance, those types didn't do too well on their own.

"And who would your father be? He had to be working for or with Luthor to merit him going there for help."

"Professor Ivo. But he's been dead for a while now. Smoking addiction led to lung cancer."

"Oh." She said, not expecting that.

"Eh, I appreciate him but he had it coming smoking as much as he did." I waved off.

"Still, to think that either would die from something so mundane…"

"Oh, so that means you believe me then. Great! So, do you want the body or-"

"Again," Hawkgirl interrupted, "You can't expect me to just believe that Lex Luthor of all people just died from falling down the stairs. And from the mouth of an unknown Android of all things."

"Yeah, I know it looks suspicious but look at it this way. If I did kill him, wouldn't the first thing I'd do be to hide the body? It'd be a crime I'd get away with scott-free with none the wiser. But instead, I choose to act as a citizen, I was made in this country I count, and report this death to the authorities. I mean, you're the Justice League so you guys would count for this type of stuff, right? Besides, what kind of dumbass would just fly around with the body of a guy he just killed when cameras are a thing? Unless i wasn't trying to hide anything of course."

"I suppose that I'll take your word for it, for now, but you're going to have to come with me."

"Do I get a lawyer? Because I'm not saying anything until I get one."

"What? No, I'm not arresting you, I'm just bringing you before the rest of the League so we can discuss what to do about all of this."

"Oh, sure." I nonchalantly said though I'm actually super excited in all honesty. After all, this is a chance for me to analyze the League all at once.

"Huh, I didn't expect you to go so easily."

"Well, I haven't committed a crime in front of you unless you count technical indecent exposure, so not much of a reason to be worried. Besides, it's pretty cool that I'm going to meet the Justice League of all people. And here I thought that the most famous celebrity I'd see " I wasn't lying towards the end though. I mean, who wouldn't be excited to meet some of the greatest heroes in pop culture?

At that, she just nodded, still not too sure on what to make of this situation. She then held a hand to her ear, an earpiece likely, and started to talk though she didn't keep her eyes off me or loosen the grip on her mace.

"This is Hawkgirl, I found Luthor." She reported.

I couldn't hear what was being said or by who, our distance prevented that, but I wouldn't be wrong in assuming that she was being asked questions.

"In the sky, in the hands of some Android created by Professor Ivo." Huh, I just noticed that I hadn't introduced myself. Should I go by Amazo or find a new name? Crap, I can't think of anything good though.

"He's dead." She said, followed by a wince. This time I could hear what was being said, plenty of surprise on their end to be sure.

"Sure, I'll be there with him," Hawkgirl replied before taking her hand off the earpiece.

"Well, let's get going. And don't even think of trying to escape." The hero threatened by lifting her mace and activating it for a moment. She then flew towards her destination with the flap of her wings.

"Oh, I have no reason to. In fact, I'll be more than happy to follow along." I said before adjusting myself to follow along. Rocket boots sucked as a form of flying but I didn't want to reveal my capabilities right this moment, however. But hey, I'm still flying after, and the view from up here is great! The clouds, the city, Hawkgirl's retreating form.

And soon enough, a good enough view of the Justice League to analyze to my heart's content.
