"Why're you carving a pumpkin, mami is it a human-holiday." Vee asked Camila who was carving a pumpkin on the kitchen-counter top making her grin at the basilsk-girl curiousity yet confusion about what was happening saying that Halloween, a popular human-holiday was coming up.

"It's a fun-spooky holiday where we go door to door getting as much candy as you can but you'd be good at it being Yourself, Luz would join you, if she was here plus the Halloween Hayride is coming up." Camila explained to her making Vee get it guessing she could try this Halloween or in her quirky mind, Basilskween hearing Camily laughing out loud at this.

"Yep, I'll make you proud." Vee told her seeing her nodding as she would and blow human minds like how Luz was doing the same in the Boiling Isles giving Vee an idea knowing Camila could Whatsapp Luz and her phone got them despite not being in this world grabbing Camila's phone activating Whatsapp texting Luz.

"I hope she gets it, as she has no idea how much Camila misses her." Vee said hearing the phone buzz, getting a reply from Luz making her relieved knowing she should show Camila later after she woke up knowing it would make her happy.

She was then going to the couch lying on it, after charging Camila's phone curling up, hugging her tail as she fell asleep just as the sun was beginning to rise and Camila was up making herself doffee to wake herself up worrying because Vee hadn't been in Luz's room or the spare room she slept in which had bunk beds hoping nothing had happened to her, or that guy from Gravesfield Historical Society had tried to capture her, until she heard sleep-sounds from the living-room opening the door relieved to find Vee on the couch hugging her tail in sleep, taking a photo hoping it wouldn't wake her up guessing she'd been up all night with Luz reading their WhatsApp messages grinning.

She was making breakfast for them seeing Vee wake up after a while despite looking a bit sleepy, seeing her making coffee as it would help the basilisk-female wake up mentally even though she wasn't going to school only she worried aboutvVee while she was at work, getting an idea hoping Vee would want to come.

"Of course I do, mami." she said making Camila relieved as Vee shape-shifted into Luz impressing her.

"That's good honey." she told her as they were leaving the house but Luz was quiet innthe car, making Camila understanding that Vee was anxious about meeting her fellow workers, assuring her it would be okay as they arrived at the vet clinic seeing Vee smile seeing the animals, chuckling seeing the other workers surprised, that Luz was here with her.

"She isn't in school at the moment, so I figured she could come here." Camila told them.

She saw Vee excited seeing snakes guessing basilsks were related to snakes hoping her fellow workers wouldn't notice that Vee was playing with snakes reassuring them, it was okay hearing Vee giggling hissing a little in joy not realising other humans could hear her blushing.

"Luz honey, let's not hiss at snakes." she said making Vee blush.

"Sorry mami, I'll stop." she said softly walking away.

"You sure it's okay for me to be in my normal form, mami." Vee asked Camila.

"Si, it's Halloween, plus I'll be right here, if anything happens." she assured her.

It was now Halloween night which made Vee excited about this human holiday but nervous, in case humans discovered she was from another world, and was at the Halloween Hayride along with trick or treating enjoying that surprised that people thought she was Luz enjoying things including the complients from others enjoying things hoping nobody would find things out giggling to herself and hissing surprising people making Camila anxious.

"I'm okay mami don't worry." she said relieving her and letting her be but saw playing with snakes making her happy seeing them slither off feeling Camila hug her asking her if she was okay seeing her nodding.

"Si, I don't know why, but I like playing with snakes." Vee replied to her.

"I guess that makes sense, you being a basilsk which are related to snakes." Camila replied.
