"Wow. I can't believe how beautiful this place is. It's nothing like the outlands. Huh?" Alexis asks as she is out scouting the Pride Lands before hearing someone following her realizing it is Kiara from her scent.

"Got ya!" Kiara says as she jumps out of the bushes and tries to grab Alexis only for her to jump to the side at the last minute.

"Nice try." Alexis say as she smiles and chuckles.

"How did you hear me?" Kiara asks.

"Quite a few things. What are you doing?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Practice hunting." Kiara says as she stands up.

"Okay first that's not how you hunt. But if you'd like I could teach you a few things." Alexis says as she chuckles a bit.

"Really?" Kiara asks in surprise.

"Yeah. Of course." Alexis says as she smiles kindly.

"Alright then. I'm ready for whatever you want to teach me." Kiara says happily as she jumps around.

"Okay then. Follow me." Alexis says as she gestures for Kiara to follow.

*Timeskip*

"Ow!" Kiara says as Alexis is sitting nearby listening to her step on things in the tall grass.

"Three... two... one..." Alexis says before she ducks as Kiara tries to catch her only to miss because of Alexis's ducking down as Alexis then goes over to her.

"You could hear me... huh?" Kiara asks from slight embarrassment as Alexis playfully rolls her eyes and helps her up.

"Yep. You're still breathing too hard. Relax... Feel the earth under your paws... so it doesn't shift and make noise." Alexis says as she shows Kiara with her claws.

'That's amazing." Kiara says.

"Another thing is don't always use your eyes to hunt. You can feel the vibrations within the ground as things move." Alexis says.

"That's a strange technique. I've only heard of wolves doing that." Kiara says as Alexis blushes slightly.

"Yeah well its a handy thing to know. Shh. Watch me and learn okay?" Alexis asks as she and Kiara see some birds before Alexis goes over and lunges only to land on Timon.

"Don't eat me! Please! I... I... I never really met your tyrant. I mean, uh- Scar. Scar. Oh,heck of a guy. A little moody but I..." Timon says fearfully.

"Timon! What are you doing here?" Kiara asks as she comes over.

"Kiara! Thank goodness! Ohh! Hey... for once we're not following ya. This just happens to be the best smorgasbord in the Pride Lands. Bugs everywhere! But you don't call for a reservation and- yeesh! Get outta here, ya scavengers. Go on! Shoo! Shoo! Oh!... oh!... oh." Timon says as he tries to scare off some birds only for one to bite him on the nose.

"Uh is this normal?" Alexis asks as Kiara chuckles.

"Yeah but they're fine. No worries." Kiara says as she smiles at Alexis causing her to blush.

"Ohh... Timon I'm getting tired. I gotta lose some pounds!" Pumbaa says as he comes over with some birds on his back.

"Shoo! Go on! Shoo! Shoo!" Timon says as he chases the bids off Pumbaa.

"Hey! Maybe she can help. Ya think?" Pumbaa asks as he looks at Alexis who gives a confused look.

"Shoo! Oh! Yeah... there's an idea. Right. Let one of the vicious Outsider- Hey! Wait! I have an idea!What if she helps?" Timon asks as he jumps off Pumbaa.

"What?" Pumbaa asks.

"You wanna lend a voice? Huh? Grrr. Guh... Roar! Work with me!" Timon asks as he walks over to Alexis.

"Like this." Kiara says as she roars scattering birds.

"Wooo hoo! C'mon do it again! Do it again!" Timon shouts happily.

"Child's play my dear." Alexis says as she smiles at Kiara before roaring loudly chasing off even more birds.

"Great job girls!" Timon shouts as the group runs down the hill.

"Kiara is there a point in this?" Alexis asks as she looks at Kiara.

"Of course! It's fun!" Kiara says happily as she laughs causing Alexis to laugh and smile with her as the group runs down a row of narrow rocks and finds the end of it blocked by a huge amount of angry rhinos before the group gets chased by them causing them all to quickly hide in a small crevice at the rhinos pass by causing the group to laugh.

"That was amazing." Alexis says as she laughs.

"You're okay kid... Now if only your friend is the same as you we'll get on fine." Timon says as he and Pumbaa get out of the crevice.

"Oh uh sorry." Alexis says as she and Kiara accidentally brush muzzles while trying to get out of the crevice.

"No, no. My fault. You go ahead." Kiara says as Alexis gets out of the crevice before she follows her.

"Hey! Are you two comin' or what?" Timon asks as Alexis and Kiara happily follow him and Pumbaa laughing and smiling.

*Timeskip*

"There you are." A voice says revealing to be Kovu as he finds Alexis sitting at a stream.

"Oh Kovu. Where have you been?" Alexis asks as she sits up.

"Out. I saw you out there today." Kovu says.

"Oh you uh saw that huh?" Alexis asks shyly.

"Look Alexis I do enjoy seeing you happy. I know you never agreed to this stuff. Or wanted to be in my mom's pride but just remember our mission here." Kovu says as Alexis playfully rolls her eyes.

"Oh come on. Don't tell me you're not enjoying this at least a little. I've seen you today acting happier." Alexis says as she smiles at Kovu.

"Just keep the mission your priority." Kovu says.

"Fine. Whatever." Alexis says annoyedly as she walks off.
