Part 1 - A scarlet letter:

Draco Malfoy walked into his sixth year dorm and plopped onto his bed. Scorpius and Daffy were arguing about something having to do with the Quidditch team. "Scorpius! Quit being a fucking wanker. Harry Potter is the greatest seeker ever and you know it," Daffy exclaimed. Scorpius threw a pillow at Daffy's head. Daffy looked on the verge of tears and Scorpius started to laugh. Daffy yelled, "You're such a fucking grouch!" Scorpius stood up. "Shut the fuck up, Daffy!", he screamed. Daffy refused to speak to anyone for weeks, while Scorpius kept harassing him non-stop with pranks.

One day, Daffy had had enough. He went to the library and found a book on dark magic. He started to learn spells that would help him get revenge on Scorpius. He became obsessed with making Scorpius's life a living hell. One night, Daffy cast a spell that made Scorpius's hair turn green. Scorpius was so horrified that he didn't leave his dorm for days. Daffy laughed every time he saw Scorpius's green hair. Finally, Scorpius couldn't take it anymore. He went to Daffy and begged him to undo the spell. Daffy refused and Scorpius started to cry. Daffy felt a twinge of guilt, but he quickly pushed it away. He was enjoying making Scorpius suffer too much to care about his feelings.

Later that week, Daphne strode into the dorm and sat on the bed next to Draco. "Hey," she said, smiling at him. He stared back at her and did not smile. "What's wrong?" she asked. "Everything.", was his reply. He turned on his side away from her, his long platinum blonde hair cascading over his back. Daphne's lover, Vic Potter, came out of the closest and chuckled. Daphne stared after him for one second before looking back at Draco and giggling. "Today was fun.", she said. "Yeah, it was...", he mumbled. Daphne looked at him, her blond hair sparkling in the blaze of the setting sun.

Suddenly, Daffy came barging into the room, his face red with anger. "Scorpius is such a fucking prat!", he yelled. Daphne and Draco exchanged a look. "What did he do this time?", Draco asked, his voice heavy with resignation. Daffy related the story of how Scorpius had ruined his date with Rose by setting his hair on fire. "That sounds like something he would do.", Daphne said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Daffy glared at her. "Shut up, you bitch!", he screamed. Daphne's eyes widened in shock and Draco jumped to his feet. "Get the fuck out of here!", he yelled at Daffy. Daffy turned and fled the room.

"Hey! Ebony!" Willow called as I came into the Slytherin common room. It was sunny outside, which sucked. Sunny days are my worst enemies, second after Muggles of course. Willow was my BFF and Draco's girlfriend, Daphne's best friend, and a Slytherin. She is not your typical Slytherin though. She's really nice to everyone, even Muggles and first years. She was wearing a MCR t-shirt and skinny jeans with converse shoes. Her hair was dyed black with pink streaks. I'm going to get my hair dyed black with pink streaks too. We are both part goth and part punk. It's my favorite kind of rock. We met at a GC concert about five years ago.

Anyway, Willow said, "Ebony, you've got a letter here." She handed me a slim white envelope with the Hogwarts crest embossed on it. I opened the white envelope, wondering who sent it, and took out a white page of parchment with the same Hogwarts emblem printed at the top of the page. Written in blood was,

Dear Miss. Raven,

Draco Malfoy has requested that you attend the Good Charlotte concert in Hogsmeade this weekend. Considering you are SO convinced that you don't have feelings towards him, you should probably know that the fact that he asked you to this concert means he has deep feelings towards you. We hope you enjoy the concert.

Yours Truly,

Potter, Potter, and Potter

I stared at the letter, dumbstruck. Malfoy put in a request for me to attend the GC concert? "What the fuck?" I said out loud, not meaning to. Willow gave me a look. This could not be happening. I folded up the letter and put it in my pocket as Willow and I went out to the great hall for a morning cup of blood. (We were vampires, of course.)

"So why did you agree to go to that concert with Malfoy?" Willow asked me and Minerva McGonagall, "he's cheating with me!"

"No he's not," I replied. I didn't want to tell her that I was secretly in love with Malfoy. I was pretty sure she'd tell Potter and then he'd tell Malfoy and then it would be all over the school that I liked him. No, I needed to keep this to myself.

"Whatever," Willow said, rolling her eyes. "But I still don't understand why you're going."

"I don't know," I lied (because i'm goffik). "I guess I just want to see Good Charlotte."

Willow didn't say anything after that and we drank our blood in silence. I was going to the concert with Malfoy because I loved him, even though I knew I shouldn't.

"Hey! I've realized something!" she exclaimed.

"What?" I asked.

"You're drunk!" she exclaimed. "Anyway, come with me! I have something to show you!"

"Alright." I muttered.

"Come on!" she urged as she dragged me back to the common room and up the girls' dormitory, where I'm surprised that Malfoy didn't follow us. Anyone else would, but not Malfoy. That's why I like him. He respects my privacy. He did knock on the door to my dorm, but that was to make sure I was alright.

"Willow!" I whined.

"Oh, shut up!" she muttered. We reached the seventh year dormitories, which were empty. Everyone must be the party. "Get out the cloak." she said.

"Why?" I grumbled.

"Because there is something you need to see! Come on!" she begged.

"Alright, alright." I muttered, taking out the invisibility cloak from my pocket and putting it on. Willow and I put on our cloaks and jumped out of the window.
