"Alexis there you are." Kovu says as he finds Alexis outside the cavern.
"Kovu. I um..." Alexis says nervously.
"I wanted to talk." Kovu says.
"Oh?" Alexis asks.
"Listen I've changed my mind about the plan. I dont wanna do it anymore." Kovu says.
"Really?" Alexis asks in surprise.
"Really. I've seen things here that are worth protecting." Kovu says.
"I have too." Alexis says as Kovu smiles at her.
"But how can we tell Kiara and Simba?" Kovr asks.
"I'm not sure. We'll just have to try." Alexis says as Kovu nods.
"Kiara... Alexis and I need to talk to you." Kovu says as he and Alexis see Kiara in the cavern.
"Kiara... I don't want you talking with Kovu. I want to talk with him." Simba says as he comes over and leaves with Kovu.
"What's up with your dad?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Don't know but I'm happy whatever it is. So what did you want to talk about?" Kiara asks as Alexis gives a nervous look.
"Oh um just that we have really enjoyed staying here is all and I'm grateful to have met you Kiara." Alexis says as she quickly leaves much to Kiara's confusion.
*Timeskip*
"Come on. Where are they?" Alexis asks as she is sniffing around in wolf form before she hears commotion and sees Kovu at a cliff.
"Alexis!" Kovu says as Alexis shifts to lionesss form while coming over.
"What's going on? Oh no. Simba!" Alexis shouts in alarm seeing Simba in the ravine on the logs trying to escape Zira and her pride.
"Get him! Kovu, Alexis! Get him! Do it now!" Zira shouts as Nuka begins jumping up onto the logs as Alexis and Kovu run off.
"Come on. We gotta get down there and stop this." Kovu says as Alexis nods and follows him down into the ravine where they see Nuka trapped in logs before Kovu runs over and begins to free him only for Zira to swat him away as she pushes logs aside to see Nuka's face.
"Nuka..." Zira says sadly.
"I'm sorry Mother... I tried my best but I was so close. Well at least I finally got your attention didn't I?" Nuka asks.
"Shh." Zira says as Nuka passes away.
"Nuka..." Vitani says sadly.
*Timeskip*
"Scar... watch over my poor Nuka. You! What have the two of you done!?" Zira asks angrily as she swats Kovu across the face leaving a scat on his eye before he and Alexis glare at her.
"I-I-I didn't mean to... it-it-it wasn't our fault. I... we did nothing!" Kovu says angrily as he stands in front of Alexis protectively as she growls at Zira.
"Exactly! And in doing so you both betrayed your pride... betrayed Scar!" Zira says angrily.
"You are not my pride. You may habe taken me in but you're not my family." Alexis says angrily.
"I want nothing more to do with him!" Kovu says angrily.
"You cannot escape it! Nuka is dead because of you!" Zira says angrily.
"No." Kovu says.
"You've killed your own brother!" Zira shouts angrily.
"No!" Kovu shouts as he and Alexis run off.
*Timeskip*
"They'll never accept us back." Alexis as as she is walking with Kovu toward Pride Rock.
"We gotta try." Kovu says.
"Alexis!" Kiara shouts as she sees Alexis and Kovu and starts to run over to them only to get stopped by Simba.
"Why have you come back?" Simba asks as he goes to a ledge.
"Please listen to what we have to say." Alexis says.
"Simba we had nothing to do with-" Kovu then gets cut off by Simba.
"You don't belong here. Either of you." Simba says coldly.
"Please. We ask your forgiveness. If you wont accept me at least give my friend another chance." Kovu says pleadingly as Alexis looks at him.
"Daddy please. Listen to them." Kiara says.
"Silence! When you first came here you asked for judgement and I pass it now. Exile!" Simba shouts angrily.
"No!" Kiara shouts as the family watches as Kovu and Alexis are chased out of the Pride Lands by animals.
"I told you they wouldn't believe us." Alexis says as she and Kovu stop in a field.
"I'm sorry Alexis." Kovu says.
"No just stay away from me. I hate you! This is all your fault!" Alexis shouts angrily as she shifts to wolf form and runs off.
