I do now own Bones, I do own the OC's if I don't say anything else.

Just an idea I got, hope you like it.

A meeting

Jack Hodgins had got a strange letter telling him that he had a meeting, nothing else just the time the day and the place.

So there he sat waiting for something, when the door open and a woman a few years younger than him come in with reddish semi short hair and ice blue eyes, when she saw him she smiled a bit shyly.

"Hello," She said with a British accent

Jack said a hello back and smiled.

"Did you too get a weird letter just telling you to be here?" the woman asked.

"Yes I did," he said "Do you have any idea what this is about? Am Jack Hodgins by the way."

"No, no idea what so ever," the woman said "Theodosia Black nice to meet you."

The door open again and trio suited men walked in all looking serious, they sat down facing Jack and Theodosia.

"Welcome Mr Hodgins and Miss Black," one of the men said "We have summon you today to let you know about something that will change your life."

Jack snorted at the word summon it sounded so weird to be summon, he looked at Theodosia and saw that she too smiled a bit at being summon.

One of the men open a briefcase and gave Jack and Theodosia each a few papers, for the next minutes the only sound was the paper rustling as the duo read them, both finish about the same time and looked at each other and then at the suit clad men.

"Wait you can't be serious," Jack said pointing down at the paper he just had read "I mean who does something like this in the age? How can this be legal?"

"I agree with Mr Hodgins," Theodosia said "You can't really mean that this is legal!"

The men all assured them that it was completely legal and they didn't have a choice in the matter or well they did but it was not a choice they wanted to make.

"We will leave you for now so that you can talk among yourself about this," one of the suit men said and the trio got up as one and walked out leaving Jack and Theodosia alone looking at each other unsure of who would start talking.

"So," Jack said "Did you know about this?"

"Nope," Theodosia said "My aunt did warn me that it was something giant but nothing could have prepared me for this."

"So what do we do?" he said looking down at the papers "I mean it is ridicules that this is even legal."

Theodosia agreed with him, they sat in silence for a few minutes.

"It does say that we need to try for a year," Theodosia said slowly "Do you have any special one in your life right now?"

Jack was just about to say yes, he did have someone special in his life when he remembered that he and Angela was over and he just shook his head in a silence no.

"Okay neither do me," Theodosia said

"So you really think we should do this?" Jack said sounding a bit surprised but also just a little bit interesting too.

"Maybe," she answered "It is a year and after that who knows, but I think it could be worst it could be a date next week and all over."

Jack had to agree that it could be worse.

"Okay we try," he said "What the worse that could happened?"

The door open and the suited trio walked in again.

"So what is your answer?" one of them asked

"We will honour the contract," Jack said

The men turn to Theodosia and too agree to honour the contract, the men smiled and made the two sign their name on the contract and then they just left telling them that they would be called in a few months to see how it was going and to have a nice day.

And so it was once again just Jack and Theodosia in the room.

"So what do we do now?" Jack said

"Well how about we meet up this weekend and talk get to know each other," Theodosia said and wrote down her number on a piece of paper and gave it to Jack "I am free this weekend both days but then I have a job."

"I am free this weekend too," Jack said and took the paper piece "Do you know Founding fathers? Could we meet there around 3 on Saturday?"

Theodosia agree that was good, and they bid their goodbyes and was on their way both still thinking about had just happened and what would happened now, how their lives had change drastically but was it for the better or worse only time could tell.

First of all I have nothing against Jack/Angela, this is just an idea that stuck in my head.

I should warn that I do now like Daisy until the tenth season so this will have Daisy bashing sorry if that is not your cup of tea you are warn.
