Chapter 7 - The Family Years – Part 2
- September 3, 1986 - First Care of Magical Creature Class for Charley and Bill, with the triplets help.
"Today we are going to be meeting some of my bro's friends that just recently moved from the forbidden forest." Said Big Arthur. "They are very cute."
Then three centaurs walked around the care of magical creatures hut, each one has a small boy on their back.
"Charley, look we got handsome white stallions," said Lil Arthur.
"How do you like our handsome white stallions?" Asked Elijah.
"I am not," said Arterus.
"Artie, you horse half is white, a stallion is a name for a really good looking house," said Lewis. "You are my friend."
"Fine Lil I am your white stallion," said Arterus.
"I said our handsome white stallions," said Lil Arthur.
"Fine," said Arterus and his brothers, now blushing.
"See they can blush really good to," said Lil.
"What kind of food do you eat?" asked a raven.
"Hay," said Artie.
"Really," asked the raven.
"I through ravens where book lovers," said Lil.
"Apparently not this one," Said Elijah.
"No, we eat the same stuff you humans do, just not the meat," said Artie, "We are half human after all."
"Do you grow at the same rate as human kids?" asked Bill.
"Yes," started Artie.
"For the most part," said Lewis then the triplets giggled.
"What?" asked Charley.
Lewis whispered into charley's ear, "His third arm."
"Lil," said Artie, "Don't point out I am on view."
"If not for the girls, I would offer up a comparison." Said Lil.
"Do it little boy," said a girl raven.
"No," said Lil.
"Girl he is one of mine, leave him be," said Charley, "How do you guys sleep at night?" wanting to change the subject.
"Like this," said Artie, then sat down and laid back with Lil hugging him, with his head on Lil' chest. "Right now, I got a cute little body pillow." Then he stood up.
"How much bigger is your Daddy?" asked a different raven.
"You have seen the Firenze, the Divination professor," said Artie, "He is our Daddy."
"Do centaurs usually give humans rides?" asked the first raven.
"No, but it is not forbidden." Said Artie. "I give two rides, but they are both cute. Charley and Bill, you know the other, Ron."
"He is cute," said Charley.
"But so is Rob and Nev," said Bill.
"Yes, but like you I share. Rob and Elijah are Al," Said Artie. "Nev and Frank are Aseimon's."
They talked for the rest of the class about how Centaurs live.
"Artie you're claiming our little bros," said Bill.
Then Lil started rubbing Artie's human belly, then Lil said, "We did to, but we know there your first."
"But they are ours now to," said Elijah.
"Yep, Nev is ours to." Said Frank.
"Lil stop that here." Asked Artie.
"Stop what?" asked Lil. "I am just sitting here."
Then they walked off after class.
Surprise at Dinner
Ron, Rob, and Nev had joined them for dinner in the main hall and to show them around the castle.
Minnie stood up then said, "I got a surprise, one of my former students sent me an article that in the post tomorrow, I got it in Advance. The Youngest Master in several subjects. Potions, Herbology, Transfiguration, Care of Magical Creatures, and Charms at the age of eight. A few of them live here, a few of them are family of those here."
Charley and Bill look at Lil, who just has a smile.
"Do you know?" asked Bill.
Then Minnie added, "There are the Weasley twins. Bill and Charley must be proud of there shadows, Ron and Rob they got Masters in several subjects. As well as Lil Arthur, Frank W, Elijah, and Frank Jr."
"Professor McGonagall they are our shadows to," said Charley.
"We are just as proud of them to," said Bill.
"Fine," said Minnie. "The Article will be out tomorrow. The paper sent it to me early. Frank W got Charms Masters. Frank Jr got Herbs Masters. Lil Arthur and Ron got Care of Magical Creature Masters. Elijah and Rob got a Transfiguration Mastery, but knowing the triplets Father surprised all three did not get it. All got Masters in Potions. Seems there going for Alchemy next. Think someone been bussey for a few years. We are proud of our soon to be students. And the teachers aids for the classes they have masters in. I am sure the others will."
She walked down and sat across from Charley between Frank W and Elijah. Then asked, "You did not find. The cure for Wears, you made it. Those brooms you designed them."
"With time all thangs become speakable," said Lil. "Fred and George helped with Charley and Bill."
"Oh," said Minnie, she giggled. "That explains a few thangs. How many more subjects could you all be mastery in?"
Then Flitwick walked up behind Lil.
"Most of them," said Lil, "But we wanted to take some the regular way. I wanted to be in your class and Flitwick's, he was our Mother's favorite, and you where our Daddy's."
"I was James' favorite." Said Minnie.
"Why do you think there was never a prank in class," said Lil, "They keep getting stopped."
"It must have been your uncles stopping some of what they did," said Minnie. "Think they stopped one agent Snape."
"Yep, they tied him up to a statue." Said Lil, "Outside your classroom, with a blanket on him and a warning charm."
"I was wondering about that," said Minnie.
"They wanted him safe, and warm." Said Lil.
"When I released and woke him, he was mad." Said Minnie.
"Him being mad beats dead or a Werewolf," said Lil. "Siri was pissed when he figured what happened, Regs and Rems where happy through because Snape was not turned."
"Why did they stop them?" asked Minnie, "They hated Snape."
"They did, but he was a prat. He tried hitting on Lilly." Said Lil, "He started that in their fourth year. That was not allowed, Uncle Lewis stopped it. He already put four years of work into setting Lilly and James up, he would not miss it up. She was in on some of the pranks once she saw Snape for what he was."
"Did she know your Uncle Lewis was trying to set her up, with your father?" Asked Minnie. "Wait he called her Lilly Potter."
"He made his plans known to her on day one," said Lil, "He was very blunt. He was also able to see the time lines. He chose the course very careful. We have inherited memories. Not sure if I could have masted anything other than what I did."
"Bet you could have master more," said Minnie.
"There still time." Said Lil and smiled.
"Not many know about the wear cure, we gained a lot of students this year, Albus does not know their true nature," said Minnie, "But they all made oaths not to pass the curse unless they talk to me and let me know who wants it."
"You don't have to keep them secret munch longer," said Lil, "The next Wizengamot meeting there is some major thangs getting passed, make you and your Lord and Hair will be there."
"Adric is always there, but Adam not always," said Minnie.
"Also suggest bringing them both to the next board meeting," said Lil, "Some interesting changes are coming, and the old magical world will be dragged along. We are behind the rest of the world, in everything. Are you proud of Hogwarts?"
"Yes, we are considered the best magical school in the world," said Minnie, "The best teachers, most of them."
"Hogwarts is close to the bottom, last in Potions, History, Defense Class, not forget we don't teach math, magical customs and laws, science, writing or languages, cooking, our school does not have clubs or enough teams for all to play quidditch who wants to, we don't even play the school safe version the rest of the world uses. To many of our people go underemployed because of blood status. We both know that blood status means nothing with natural talent, the old family are only stronger because of the Family Magics."
"It is true, Lilly could be scarry when she had to," said Minnie.
"I would not know, but guessing like Molly. I have seen her sons back down from her, even when she was in the wrong," said Lil.
"What where we suppose to do, we can't hit our Mother," said Charley, "We just let her tire her self out, we know she won't hit or hurt us, she loves us too much."
"She knows she does not even scare us, even Ron and Rob," said Bill, "They noticed when their older bros got in trouble she just barks, no bite. Then latter she comes and makes up."
"True," said Rob, then Ron added, "She Mother, why should we fear her. Her job to protect us as much as Father."
Then Minnie said, "Albus wants to talk to you, three."
"Then Big coming with us," said Lil.
"Fine," said Minnie, when she noticed Big Arthur behind her.
They ended up at the statue when the Stature looked at the triplets, then bowed at them. Then moved aside.
Minnie was stunned, then she realized the four where already heading up. Then followed, when they entered.
Then Lil said, "Headmaster, did not expect you to go for such a simplistic design for you office. Figured you would have a more complex looking desk, seeing your robs."
"The goblins cleaned out this office of anything that belongs to Potter in anyway," said Albus.
"Oh," said Lil, "Every thang in this office was stollen from House Potter? Dang Headmaster bad example you set. We are not even students yet. Did we do something wrong?"
"Did you kidnap your brother?" asked Albus.
"No," said Lil.
"Who…" started Albus.
"You did," said Lil, "You talk like I can kidnap my own bro who wanted to come with us to safety."
"He should…" started Albus.
"No." said all three, then Lil added, "Headmaster, try to take my family away. You will not like it."
"Why is that?" asked Albus.
"Apparently we did something to make the goblins to like us," said Lil, "Who know what? But must have been the last generation, but if we called out for help. They might come."
Albus piled, then said, "That is all."
Then they left.
- October 1986 – Halloween at the Borrow.
Lil, Big, Elijah, and Frank W showed up at the Borrow when they were invited by the family. Then Molly said, "We go to the Hollow for Halloween, do you want to come."
They looked at each other then Lil said, "We can try."
"Not sure," said Frank W.
Then it downed on Arthur, then he said, "We can go somewhere else. We don't have to pick there, Hogsmeade would be better."
"We can try," said Lil.
"Want be easy," said Elijah.
"Why?" asked Molly.
They looked uncomfortable, then Elijah said, "Are our triplets upstairs? We would like to say hi."
"Yes," said Molly.
They walked upstairs, only after she heard the door closed did she ask, "What?" When she saw Arthur mad.
"Do you really not know?" asked Arthur. "Halloween and The Hollow? They don't celebrate Halloween at all."
"Why?" asked Molly.
"Here I was thinking Fred and George where the brainless not you," Said Charley, "But I was wrong. Bill lets go check on our newest shadows." Then headed up with Bill following.
They wanted into the triplets' room, then Charley grabbed Lil from the other side from Ron, while Bill grabbed Elijah into a hug with Rob, Percy and Frank Jr where already hugging Frank.
"Are you guys ok?" Asked Charley.
"Think so, hate Halloween," said Lil. "But Ms. Weasley really wants to do this. You can go as Newton and Theseus Scamander, you three little brothers there can go as Naga, and their husbands can go as wears."
"We will," Said Elijah, then Frank W added, "Sure."
"Sounds good to us," said Charley, then Bill agreed.
Then they looked up pictures of them transferred customs to look like the pictures. Then when it was time, the Naga only turned into Naga then the Wears turned into Wears.
When they when down stairs, when Charley asked, "We got our customs ready, how about you two?"
They where ready, and transported up using a port key, when they got to The Hollow, Lil collapsed.
"How can some one so good on a broom be this motion sickness prone," said Elijah.
"He is just that special," said Frank W.
Lil downed a potion, then stood up. They started walking around gathering candy, Parents and older brothers in costume, while Ron, Rob, and Nev where in Naga human form, and Lil, Elijah, and Frank where in Wear form.
When they finally came a house with no lights on. The Potters triplets were looking at the house but said nothing but looked sad. They walked up to the house and just opened the door and walked in. Then the Weasleys walked in.
Then they herd a voice form the corner, "I see your coming to see this house?"
"Still want to smack you parents for stupid," said another voice.
Then the lights come on, then Lil, Elijah, and Frank looked at her then said, "So this is where it…"
"Yes," said Lilly.
"You cleaned up," said Fleamount.
"No, we begged the elves on pay to do so," said Lil Arthur, "We know the house needed care, but we did not want to see it yet."
"Lilly is James in there?" asked Arthur.
"He is but think he at the Manor," said Lilly, when Fleamount walked off. "How have you lot been."
"We have been bussey," said Arthur. "But it is a good bussey."
"I know them all by name, they all been to the Manor." Said Lilly, "Your youngest three very much love my three…" Then she looked and only counted two, then added, "Where is Lil Arthur. He was here a few," Then she just realized, "Charley go up and check on him. It is the room, the bad room."
He jumped up and run upstairs, then saw Lil setting and shaking in the crib, then he became rigid. He started rubbing Lil back, but he could tell he was not there. Then he said, "Please talk to me. I must know. Little Bro." Then Lil Arthur disappeared. Then he walked down stairs.
"Is he ok?" asked Lilly.
"No, I should have put my foot down. But no Mother you had to suggest here and Halloween of all nights." Said Charley. "He only came because he through it was important for you. We must go and find him, but don't think that will happen till he is ready. Elijah or Frank W can either of you since him."
"No, this has never happened before," said Elijah.
"I can't either," added Frank W.
"Me and Elijah are going to check Potter Manor, Bill and Frank go check out the Borrow. Ms. Potter can you check other Potter property then meet us at Potter Manor." Said Charley.
"Sure," Agreed Elijah, Bill, Frank, and Lilly.
"Daddy and Mother can you go to Hogwarts and talk to Minnie, and get him to scan Hogwarts for him." Said Charley.
"Sure." Said Molly and Arthur.
"We all meet at the Borrow after." Said Charley.
Then they all popped away.
Searching Hogwarts.
Arthur and Molly showed at Hogwarts and say Minnie.
They went up to her and asked, "Can you use the words and check if Lil Arthur is here?"
"As long as he is not in the Hair Room, but we can ask Big Arthur to go in and check it." Said Minnie.
She scanned the castle, after ten minutes, she said, "He left the castle after lunch and has no been back. But he can pop right into that room."
They walked off to Big Arthur office and asked, "Can you check and see if Lil is in the heir room."
He popped off, after ten minutes, he came back, looking mad. Then asked, "Molly he was supposed to trick or treating at your house, how do you not know where he is?"
"A case of stupid happened and he popped off," said Arthur.
"I stupidly suggested the Hollow for Halloween as we always do, did not even draw the connection till it was to late." Said Molly.
"Molly, holy shit really?" asked Minnie.
Then they disappeared and all showed at the Borrow.
Searching Potter Manor.
Charley and Elijah went to search Potter Manor when he called for Dobby Sr, when he showed, Elijah asked, "Sr is Lewis here."
His eyes went blank, then he said, "He not in the Manor."
"What about other Potter Properties?" Asked Charley.
Ten Minuets latter, then he said, "I can't scan one. It is completely locked down. Slytherin Manor."
"Where is it?" Asked Charley.
"I should know where, but seems I can't think of it," said Elijah, "He blacked it from my memory. Seems he needs alone time. This is a first ever."
"Does not matter, can't enter, even you Elijah," said Sr. "I will come and get you and Frank W, as soon as he unlocks it to me. Who upset him this much."
"My Mother," said Charley.
"Tell this Weasley female, I will be at the Borrow to talk in ten minutes. How dear she upset one of my sons." Said Sr. Then he sat back down, while they popped off to.
Searching the Borrow.
Bill and Frank W went to such the Borrow, after Bill got done using the Words on the property. Then he sat down. Then Ron, Rob, and Frank Jr showed up with some of the Potter Elves. Then the others started showing up.
"Is he here," asked Ron.
"No." Said Bill.
"He not at Hogwarts," said Minnie, added Big, "Not in the Heir Room either."
"Nor in Potter Manor or any of the Properties, but Dobby Sr said Slytherin Manor could not be scanned saying it is the only property under complete lockdown. It is one of the properties that he is primary Lord of." Said Charley.
"Is not Hogwarts, also called Slytherin Manor?" Asked Ron.
"No, Hogwarts is Slytherin Castle." Said Elijah. "Either way, we can't enter it right now. Sr, says stay here Ms. Weasley."
Then Sr showed up, then pointed then said, "You, how dear you make my Mini-Master this upset, he blacks us all out."
He is now so close. He is making Molly nervus at this point. Then Lilly walks in and says, "Slytherin Manor is in complete lockdown. I can't enter any portrait frame, and those usually in the frames I ended up finding in Ravenclaw Manor, and asked one."
"Founder Slytherin was one and he said before he was moved an Emerald Eyed and Scarlet hair showed." Said Lilly.
Then a man joined her in the frame, then said, "I am the Founder Slytherin, then said, "Who upset Lil, this bad. He showed up then pushed everyone out of the Slytherin Manor to Ravenclaw Manor. He was a confused in waves of different emotions. His core is unstable, we need to get to him soon."
"But we can't," said Dobby Sr. "The Manor is locked down."
"He is worked up in a way, he will wear himself out soon," said Founder Slytherin, "As soon as he does, there might be just enough of a opening might be possible for Dobby Sr to get in, but there is no guarantee and if he does he might be locked in tell Lil is back to normal."
"If I can get in I know how to take care of him," said Sr.
"Has this happened before?" asked Lilly.
"Can't say." Said Dobby Sr, "He never locked himself away. Promised to keep his secrets."
They were playing chess for almost two days, when Dobby Sr disappeared, then reappeared. Then said, "He not ready to talk, he returned me then resecured."
"How did he seem," asked Lilly.
"I need to get back in now," Said Dobby Sr, "He was outside the manor near a grounding stone, he is saft at the minute."
Almost a day latter Elijah and Frank felt a pull, then Dobby Sr said, "Follow the pull, I will help."
Then the four disappeared, when they reappeared, next to Lil Arthur. When Dobby Sr said, "Set on either side of him." They did, "Now relax and think of the triplet bond." They did.
Then they closed their eyes, and saw a deserted and desolate small island in the middle of a sea story sea. They were standing a small distance behind them.
Then they noticed the island was getting more tropical, and the storm coming to an end. They walked up to him and sat and hugged him, then the storms ended and the island was back to relaxing and tropical. They also noticed he was very rigid, but now he relaxing slowly. He was staring to relax, and then Lil looked around then saw his brothers, seemed to take a few minutes to realize who they were.
"Where are we?" asked Lil.
"We are in your mindscape." Said Elijah.
"Sr outside, we need to get you relaxed enough to leave here," said Elijah, "Breath in and out."
All three where not doing the same. Soon enough the tropical island disappeared and a small secluded tropical garden appeared with a small ball like stone centered in the clearing.
"Daddy Dobby." Said Lil.
"Yes, I am here." Said Sr. "Relax. We need to go back to the borrow. Bring the Manor out of complete lockdown back to normal security mode." He did so then he passed out.
Then Sr grabbed Lil Arm, and Popped back with Elijah and Frank W following. Then he placed Lil in bed and Frank W and Elijah got on either side. Then he popped downstairs.
Then he said, "He is upstairs and relaxing."
"What happened?" Asked James.
"While he can't order me anymore since the laws, and he never really gave me orders, only requests," said Sr. "Through if a guardian requests concerns safety." Looking at Arthur.
"Dobby Sr, please tell me what happened," asked Arthur.
He then relaxed, then said, "He had a full blown panic attack."
"The room set it off," said Charley.
"Yes, the last time he was there. He felt his father fighting for his life then die. Then his mother Murdered in front of him." Said Dobby Sr, "Then the evil come and tried to kill him, then the greasy git tried to kill him. I think the old Murders called him Snivellus. Now he connects that room with bad."
"He remembers that, he was not sleeping?" asked Lilly.
"He was not that night," said Sr, "Adults wizards and witches have a history of underestimating what their young are capable of, but we elves are not. He was listening to you, he was awake the two nights before, while the other two sleep."
"While we were feeding them three days before," said Lilly, "Me holding Lil, Sirius holding Frank, and James holding Elijah. Albus was talking about the prophecy. He must have understood it, and did not figure he would understand it."
"He did, they did." Said Sr.
"He thinks it is his fault that we are dead," said Lilly.
"He did. I have been working with him not to, but today those felling reared their heads." Said Sr. "Do not talk to him about it, give me time. Took almost a year last time. If who he fells is dead because of him, talks to him about it. Will make it worse. If you want to talk to him, anything else is fine. James talk about your time at Hogwarts. Do not talk about the time in the Hollow. Time together here and at one of the other Potter properties is fine." They all agreed. Then he added, "His core is depleted, give him time. When he wakes I have potions for him."
"As long as he will be ok," said Lilly, "We should not have let Albus talk up into using that house, we would have been better off staying at Potter Manor and took in the Longbottoms."
"We should have, then they would have been in our arms," said James, "But they are safe with people we trust."
They went to bed the Sunday that weekend Lil woke up and saw his two brothers and the triplet husbands where in bed when he went downstairs and sat at the kitchen table, after getting some whole milk, mixed it with his nourishment powder Sr made for his health. When he was seated at the window seat he started drinking it. Sr then popped in and was now in front of Lil Arthur with a set of potions when Molly walked in.
"Time to drink liquid undies and sweet socks?" asked Lil.
"Yes, and I made them extra sweety just for you," added Sr. "And to show how much I love you."
Then he handed Lil the first one, he downed it. "You used Ron's undies and socks." Right as Ron walked in and he froze.
"I did his are extra sweety." Said Sr.
"No, they are not," said Ron.
Lil then smiled at him, then Lil added, "Who said it was a bad smell, Ron smell is relaxing." Then he smiled.
"I have done his undies, I would not call it that," said Molly.
"My nose works different than your," said Lil.
"True, boys are different then Ladies." Said Molly.
"I seen you, you like smelling your boys, don't be ashamed." Said Lil. "Your enhanced smell lets you know if they are all in here."
"True," said Molly.
"Do we smell different," asked Ron.
"Yes, we all do," said Lil. Then Sr handed over one more potion, then he down it to. "We smell like what we eat. Or drink. Or what around us. Ron here smells of lots of chocolate, and cinnamon. He does smell good."
Then handed him the last one, he downed it to. Then Dobby Sr said, "Now go rest more, or you get sleeping potions."
"Hug then nap," Lil agreed.
Sr hugged him, then pointed up. Ron started pulling him upstairs so Lil gave in and followed. Then got back in Ron's bed and fell asleep, with Ron on his side and then Elijah rolled back onto him.
Latter that evening Lil woke up to no one being with him around noon, he went down and saw everyone at the table. He saw Ron playing Frank W. He went up and hugged Ron form behind and his attraction wavered, losing a Knight and a Squire.
"Lil you distracting me," said Ron, "Let me finish here, then you can hug me all you want." Then he sat down nearby. Then Ron came back and won. "Now hugs." He went back and hugged while two others played. This went on the rest of the evening.
Next game Elijah beat Rob, then Lil beat Frank Jr, then beat Charley, then Bill beat Ron. When Molly came in with two more sets. Then Molly played Lil and lost.
