Chapter 28 – Start of Summer
The work on all the campuses started. It only took two months to complete, then another to month to move the teachers from campus to the correct campus. The teachers' apartments are next to their classrooms now. The new setup for the library has a central room with doors on one side going to the different campuses with a spot for Hogwarts School, then on the other side going into the different campuses library which are organized by topic taught there, and a spot for the Hogwarts section. Then a new restricted section.
Then Sprout came to Lil with some updates and improvements to the Herbology program both for organization and safety. The greenhouses levers are organized by campuses.
The pre-firsties are at Hogwarts. The updated The fruits and vegetables greenhouses which are in all greenhouses at Hogwarts. With a temporary wall around the greenhouses. Then a temporary doorway between the main campus and the greenhouses. In addition to the fruits and vegetables there will be herbs for potions, medicines for none-mages. In the different greenhouses there are microclimates. The purpose is to teach Herbology and plant growing basics. A slightly more advanced pre firsties Herbology program will be at Beauxbatons with more changeling planets.
First through fourth years have specific greenhouses domes in the mountain under Salem and Ilvermorny Campus, then at the Maple Leaf campus just regular green houses. The green houses have special microclimates to increase the types of plants.
Fifth year and up a specialty class for hydroponics is at the Troy Campus and New Alexandrea Campus. Sprout and Lil learned about this new kind of growing plants. Growing plants for potions, medicine. This technique of growing plants is also going to be used for growing food two new floating farming cities, New Lundon and New Moscow.
The new floating cities are set up between the coast of northern Florida and southern Spain. Then in the between the cost of central Brazil and the cost of Angola on the west coast of Africa to connect to Rwenzori Mountains of Uganda, Uagadou, Africa where the campus is. Angola is an entirely magical country, which joined the Magical UN. The country's borders where magical secured. The three major cities where upgraded. The cities or campuses are each a fourth of the distance between the North American and Europe then South America and Africa.
Troy Campus, then city of New Lundon, then city of Atlantis City, then the farming community of Murfreesboro from east to west in the north Atlantis line. The farming community of New Murfreesboro, then city of Camelot, then New Alaxander Campus, and then city of New Salvador.
Then Uagadou Campus the sixth year and up with the more advanced biodomes under the desert.
The Castelobruxo is the new Rain Forest Specialty plants some of which are dangerous, so they are seventh and up.
The Durmstrang and Koldovstoretz campuses are placed in biodomes since where they are located in the extreme cold of the Russian north. The herbalist clubs meet at these two campuses. Over the campuses there is lots of fruit and nut trees and berry plants all over the campus.
The Lil and his minis, and Ron went to the World Chess Championship. Several new groups, the first-time players, the returning champions. Then age groups, the Tots, Jr leagues, Sr leagues, then the adult leagues.
In the first-time players groups. Ron was in the first timers tot age group. He went through the rounds coming in first. Then the Cedric Diggory won the Jr first time. Charley won first place and Bill won second in the Sr first timers. Then Regulas won first place in the adult first timers.
When all groups were done and the trophies were passed out for first, second, and third place. The lead of it made a announcement was made.
"A surprise for these years First, second, and third place winners on all first timers' groups. Last year's two-time returning World Champion is going to play agents all of you at once. All twelve of you will be lined up at the table, and he will start down the line one at a time, then come back to the front till he beats all those here." Said the man. The twelve went and sat at the U-shaped table. Then they saw Lil's minis sitting at the table with huge smile on his face.
Then Lil and his Minis walked then Chaley, Bill smiled, while Ron and Cedric frowned. The organizer walked over to them.
Then the organizer asked, "What are you frowning at?" While at the same time Lil was standing at the edge of the stage talking to James, Sirius, and Fleamount.
"We are about to be beaten," said Ron.
Then after an hour they were down to Lil's Minis, Ron, Cedric, Bill, Charley, Regulas, and Remus. After another thirty minutes, the group shrank down to Lil's Minis, Ron, Charley, and Remus. Next to fall was Charley, then Ron, then Remus. Now is it just the Minis and Lil, after another two hours and no stop in sight.
Then the announcer came and asked, "Do you three agree to a draw, same as last year."
"We agree, the returning champs and returning three years straight for next year," Said the organizer. "Arthur Lewis James Potter-Weasley, and his Minis, Arthur and Elijah Potter-Weasley you first timers came through with flying colors. Come try again next year."
They were walking off, when Lil said, "Ron you did good."
"Will I ever beat you?" asked Ron.
"Maybe one day," said Lil smiling.
When they got home, there was piles of books with each kids name on top of the stacks. They each brough their stacks to their room. Lil and his minis started checking out their stacks. Ron sat listening to Lil start reading them to the Minis. This was where Fred and George came in watching.
Lil stopped reading, when Fred asked, "Your started reading them already?" "They are little ravens."
"Yes, we are." Said Lil, then Mini-Me added, "Yes, we do have a inner raven," "So does Ron," "He is listening."
"What, Lil has a great voice," Said Ron. "Relaxing."
"And he is learning while relaxing," said Lil.
"So, this is how Ron got the grades," said Fred, then George added, "If Lil knows the secret method."
"After I get done with a few chapters here," said Lil, "We can do the same. But these two will want to lesion to, and Ron."
They sat down then the Minis got in their laps while Lil sat next to Ron, then started reading the history book again.
A few hours latter they where all asleep, when Arthur came in and saw this. Then smiled and left.
Over the rest of the summer brake Lil took several more trips to China, and before the end of summer the rest of the kids in those two cities were made into mages. Also, a number of the parents to the new mage applied to become mages and join their kids, all of them approved after questioning. Most went to the new floating city, and a few went to Hogwarts valley. Their where either adults that wanted to adopt the new mage kids or parents that followed their kids also adopted more.
Lil and his minis checked the different campuses. All the repairs where finished a month in. The teachers started setting up their new classrooms at the proper campuses or making new additions to their classrooms. For example, the defense teachers having dueling and spell practicing rooms.
The grounds at each campus also had work on them. Maple Leaf, Durmstrang, and Koldovstoretz which had are campuses with complete drones had the new climate control systems being put in place with full green campuses on the grounds.
Hogwarts Campus has Greenhouses Dome only but left the rest of the grounds as it was. Ilvermorny, Salem, Freedom, and Uagadou have greenhouses under the mountain dome, because of this there is no full domes.
Beauxbatons, Castelobruxo, and Mahoutokoro have not dome because of either temperate or hot climate no dome is needed.
Troy, and New Alexandrea Campus are floating cities domes are not needed nor possible.
As soon as the domes where domes where finished the students who wanted to help where called in from all the school, to help with the setting up of all the green house and domes.
From the other member countries of the UN since the announcement several hundred kids become mages. During the summer every kid in Great Britain have asked to become mages, a few hundred asked to be placed with new families.
From Americas the whole population of kids also become mages before the end of summer. From the bible belt most had to request to be rehomed as well in one of the floating cites.
Most countries accepted mages with out problem with most of their kids' becoming mages. With the knowledge of the new races of magic becoming public knowledge the world over all started changing. Some of the major issues of the world are disappearing, global diseases are being cured, world hungry is gone with all the food being produced, almost all the homeless now have homes. Everyone is being trained for jobs. There is a new world peace being established.
As soon as those working on the other campuses where done, somewhere assigned to each campus, in the newly added caretakers apartment buildings. The rest were taken to Hogwarts and started doing a complete assessment of the school. When the reports where ready the plains state the school should be done at Christmas. When the work starts the repairs of the castle, putting in new central ac, electoral, and lighting, and new computer systems.
