Chapter 1 Lizzie Mcguire and her friends, Gordo, and Miranda were walking down the block afterschool to Lizzie's house. They walked into the kitchen to find Mrs. McGuire stirring something in a bowl for supper. Lizzie smiled with pride. Her mom was a busy woman, she worked at the department store 5 days a week, cooked supper, raised two kids, and was an all-around good mom. "Hey, mom. Um, we were wondering if we could go to the mall this evening.?" Asked Lizzie. "Of course, be back at 8:00 though." The three nodded and turned to the door, Suddenly, Mrs Mcguire called out "Oh, honey while your at he mall, I need you to buy me some", she pulled Lizzie aside, "personal products she whispered into Lizzie's ears. Lizzie winced but nodded. Her mom handed her a list and a 20. Lizzie sighed and joined her friends and together they went to the mall.At the mall, Lizzie bought her some clothes, as did Miranda, and Gordo bought some cds. After they ate lunch, they decided to go. On the way out, Lizzie went into the Mall's pharmacy and got her mom the "personal products". On the way to the check-out ,Lizzie bumped into.Kate Sanders. Kate was the most snobbiest and popular girl at Hilldridge Junior High. She used to be Lizzie friends when they were little, but in Junior High, she started to hang out with the popular gang and the rest was history. Kate's eyes narrowed at Lizzie. "Like,can't you walk without knocking something over Klutz Mcguire?" She sneered. Lizzie fumed and opened her mouth to respond,but Kate suddenly suddenly burst out in laughs. "Maybe those have something to do with your Klutziness." Kate said. Lizzie frowned and looked down at the floor. Redfaced, she quickly gathered the "products". "There for my mom."Lizzie burst out, as she walked passed Kate and quickly checked out. She found Miranda sitting alone on a bench. "Where is Gordo." She asked, "He went ahead home." Replied Miranda. Then Miranda noticed the look on Lizzie face, like an upset look. "Whats wrong?" Lizzie told her what happened. "Yikes."Said Miranda. "You know, she is like so stuck-up!" said Lizzie. "You couldn't give me money to trade spots with her." That night, after dinner, Lizzie took a shower then went to bed. When she awoke, she felt strange, "Did I grow taller overnight?" she asked aloud. Lizzie sat up and yawned. She looked around her room. But her room was different from last night. She got up and walked over to a full length mirror and screamed when she saw her reflection, which was the reflection of..Kate Sanders!!
