No amount of searching
Of those gentle gray eyes
Will divulge the secrets hidden there
A beautiful disguise...
What those gentle gray eyes
Do not reveal
Is a soul in torment...
That cannot heal
Those gentle gray eyes
Track the moon
Watching the silver orb
Knowing the curse comes soon...
Those gentle gray eyes
Become ridden with pain
Each transformation
Another permanent stain
Yet when the full moon fades
Its terror a memory
Gentle gray eyes
Are again all we see...
