Darkness. Complete and total darkness. Not just black, for black is a
color, this was a complete lack of color. Draco tried to open his eyes,
and found that they were already open. Where was he?
"Hello!" he called out. "Is anyone there?"
"Greetings, mister Malfoy." The voice seemed to bypass his ears and go straight into his brain. It sounded as if his name was spat out, instead of spoken.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Draco yelled out into the void.
"How cliché, Mr. Malfoy. I would have expected more from you, but alas, I've been disappointed."
"You see Mr. Malfoy, there are some things in the world that you can't escape. They are inevitable. Right now, you are facing one of those faces, Mr. Malfoy. Do you know what it is? Can you guess? You've been feeling it coming towards you, surely you have. You ARE a wizard, after all."
If anyone could have seen Draco, they would have seen a look on his face that is rarely seen, a look of confusion.
"Yet another disappointment. Ms. Granger has known for at least a week, and she's a.how do you put it? Ah yes, a mudblood. You are facing DEATH, Mr. Malfoy. Even now it is approaching. Coming for you. You can not escape. You are destined to be dead."
"I, I." Draco spluttered.
"Surely, Mr. Malfoy, you aren't scared of the afterlife. You, a sensible boy. You long ago decided that religion and an afterlife were illogical. As you must have noticed, they are not. There is a special hell for YOU, Mr. Malfoy. A place so horrible, that the Cruciatus curse would seem like a massage by a rather talented masseuse in comparison. Lord Voldemort doesn't even have an eternal.place of residence.so awful, but then he is evil now, but you, you, Mr. Malfoy, are just one member in a completely corrupt and evil family. You will have a wonderful time, you seem to like to open your mouth.so in this place, you should be very happy. Only instead of forming sentences, you will be screaming. Screaming, Mr. Malfoy."
"But I, I didn't."
"Of course, of course, I'm sure you've done nothing wrong, but that's only how you perceive things, Mr. Malfoy. I've detained you for too long. Good bye, Mr. Malfoy."
As the voice broke into maniacal laughter, Draco felt himself falling. The longer he fell, the more he got the sense that things were getting lighter, and that he could almost see. It was also getting hotter. He fell for what seemed like hours, and then he could see it, a giant flat plain, surrounded by walls of flame. Set into one wall, was a door. A very large door. He fell, and wondered what would happen when he hit the ground.
He just had time to start to yell before he hit, and all went black.
