Dreaming of Him Brings Me Only Sadness
I wrote this listening to Josh Groban sing Alluce Del Sole and looking at a picture of Sirius by Tealin (u gotta check out her art!). It reminded me of Sirius Black a lot. I have no idea why! So I wrote my own lyrics. They're a little cheesy, but I like them well enough! You don't have to read it if you don't want to, but any girl (or guy) who has ever fallen in love with someone entirely fictional (preferably Sirius Black) will understand this song. If you like, please R&R!
Disclaimer: I did not compose the song "Alluce Del Sole" I only wrote these lyrics to go with this song that has it's own Italian lyrics. If there are any problems, or you would like to use these lyrics for a website or something, contact me at trag_from_wagon@yahoo.com.
Excuse For Cheesiness When It Comes To Writing Lyrics To A Song That Already Has Lyrics In Italian: I spent two hours in a bathroom with my sister knocking and screaming at the door, matching every word with every syllable, it's really hard to rhyme that way!
Dreaming of Him Brings Me Only Sadness By Trag
He started as evil to me, A wanderer of shadowed streets, A traitorous friend, Murderous man, That's how I saw him.
(Cheesy part) Soon, though, A dim light shone from around him, (Figure of speech, not literal.) And statically the light grew to a brilliance, I couldn't believe him, The truth was unfair, Justice forgot him, And so I knew.
He was of a strong soul, Betrayed by friends, Given life of exile, Acting for the best.
Thinking of him makes me stronger, Dreaming of him brings me only sadness, I have now fallen in love, With the brightest star, Yet fictional curse, Wishing for him Brings me to tears. I am wasting life with Sirius Black.
Hoping to see a black dog before me, And writing of my lonesome feelings, (fanfic? Anyone?.) Are desperate attempts to make him real, But all did soon fail. And so I knew.
He was only fiction, A life-less thought, That I fell in love with, Driving me Insane.
Thinking of him makes me stronger. Dreaming of him brings me only sadness, I have now fallen in love With the Brightest star, Yet fictional curse. Wishing for him brings me to tears. I am wasting life with Sirius Black.
Voices say: Thinking of him makes me stronger.
Dreaming of him brings me sadness! I wish to silence my thoughts, To just end it all, So He'll leave me be, But life without him, Slowly kills me, I'll have to waste life With Sirius Black.
Well, there you have it. Cheesy, yes, but from the heart. You have to hear the music to understand the lack of rhyme. I don't know if I got the song grammar right, but at least I wrote the words. Tell me what you think!
