A Slayer's Gift

As always Buffy was walking in the graveyard, just waiting for a vampire to come. She really had some pent up tension. Her and Angel had been fighting more often lately. She really was starting to get mad. He always got jealous of Xander. She knew that it was just a male thing, but it was getting old quick.
Then to top it all off she was getting really tired of her job. Slaying. What a job. She wanted a normal life she wanted to be Cordelia. Oh god! I didn't just think that. I just want to be a normal girl.
Just then she heard something in the bushes. When she went over to inspect it, someone jumped out.
"who the hell are you!" Buffy said
"Jodi the vampire slayer." The tall blonde thin girl said
" You must be kidding, did Kendra die?" Buffy's said her mind starting to flood with fear.
"No, I'm much older than you, and I've been the slayer much, much longer" Jodi said wondering how she was going to explain this one.
"What, if your older than why was I called, cause you still look very much alive?" Buffy said I total confusion.
"Well, you see this will take awhile to explain." Jodi said hoping she would just let it go
but just then Buffy snapped "I have time."
"OK, can we at least go somewhere a little less….. gloomy."
"Yes, I guess so." Buffy said not sure if she should believe this "Slayer" or not
