Outside Buffy's house on the Porch
"OK, explain please?" Buffy said waiting for the girls answer.
Just as the Jodi started to speak a voice came from in front of them. That hadn't even noticed him standing there. It was Angel.
"Jodi?"
Angel said, his mind full of disbelief. This couldn't be her his brain almost screamed out. She should be dead, long gone.
"Angelus, Is that you?" she said I total and utter amusement.
"How?" Angel said
Buffy chose this moment to step in "You to know each other?"
"Yes" they both shouted in unison.
"Angelus, how did you survive this long?" she said hoping that he isn't going to ask her how she was standing before him.
"Whistler, he helped me out, what about you?" he said listening for a heart beat hoping that she wasn't a vampire. When he sensed one he new she was alive. But he still wanted to know how
"It happened the day you were cursed" she began tears burning in the back of her eyes, but she was determined to let them show. "The gypsies said that I hadn't done my job, they said I could have saved their daughter. So they decided to curse me. The curse they did mad it were when I died I would be born all over again. When I reached the age of 13 I would remember my past lives. I would remember not saving their daughter." She said letting a silent tear flow down her cheek.
By now Angel just stood full of guilt. It was his fault she was standing their full of pain
She continued " They said everyone I came to know and love, I would watch die."
Just then she glanced over to angel to see the pain and guilt in his eyes.
"Angelus, it is not you fault" she stated firmly.
"Call me Angel, and yes it is my fault. If I hadn't fed you would be at rest by now." He said with every word, his heart would break.
"No!, Angel it was my destiny. Now I can help people, I an make sure that they can live to see their destinies.
"What?" the vampire said in total disbelief. Could this be, could she really be happy?
