With the ashes and smoke,
my third cigarette burns to the filter.
Creasing with silver coloured eyes of my daydream.
I always took what I wanted.

You threw away your legacy.
Letting me love you;
controlling me in the end.
Sill, silenced;
under the weight of your frail body.
I waited.
I couldn't stop you.

it was my lucky day.
With my one-way ticket,
I'm drowned out by the speed of this train
into oblivion of sunshine where I'm still rained upon.

mornings are fresh with nothing to do.
November's breeze
offers memories of last week's runaway heart.
Kissing strangers,
consuming strong beverages.
Falling into laps of aged adulterers;

under strong, beer drenched gypsy attire.

only shun me for.
Through dimness;
curtains of smoke,
your form takes a quick shot
of the oily alcoholic substance.
I know that tossed hair;
it gleamed under my fingers every morning as you awoke.
I've drowned in it endless times
while the blond silk absorbed all my tears.
I've reached you
making no mistake in assuming
that finally I'm your first,
only need.

And you did.
The familiarity of being consumed in your kiss
overwhelms me.
We'll need two one-way tickets back to bliss.
