"Ron!" 10 year-old Draco Malfoy yelled to his step-brother. "Ronald Weasley!"

"What?" a red-haired, blue-eyed 10 year-old yelled, running down the stairs in his home.

"D'you want to go ask Fred and George if they want to play Quidditch?"

"Yea!"

So the oddest pair of brothers you'll ever meet. A blond haired, gold eyed 10 year old and a red headed blue eyed 10 year old. As they walked up the stairs of their house they knew they were the best of friends. Forever united.

By now you're probably wondering who Draco and Ron are, right?  Well Draco Malfoy, or as the rest of the world knows him, The Boy Who Lived, is . . . well, the boy who lived!  When he was hardly a year old, the most feared wizard of their time, Voldemort, came to his house. After killing his protection (his Auror mother and father) he advanced on him. After firing the curse at the crying baby, he destroyed the house. Doing this right in front of Draco, he didn't see the curse ricochet off of Draco's forehead. Looking down at last minuet, he saw the curse and blinked, he died as soon as the curse touched him, and his eyes were in the blinking mode.  Reubeus Hagrid came at the same time as the supposed Secret Keeper, Charlie Weasley. He saw what had happened and gave his motorbike to Hagrid. Just then Hagrid felt suspicion. He shrugged it off and went to Dumbledore, who was waiting near the Weasley's, the Malfoy's closest friends.  Draco was left there and grew up to who is now his closest friend, Ron. Ron and his family told and retold the story of Draco Malfoy and his lightning scar, which came free with the fame.  Charlie Weasley was arrested later that night, for killing 12 muggles and Bill Weasley…

Ron's whole family had red hair.  They were all wizards, with one or two Squibs. Ron's immediate family consisted of: Bill, a successful curse-breaker, Charlie, a great dragon-tamer, Percy, a Minister-of-Magic wannabee, Fred, a prankster, George, Fred's twin and partner in crime, Ginny, (Virginia) one year younger than Ron, Arthur (Dad), a successful Ministry employee,  and Molly, a house-mom.

So days and weeks passed and soon the day Ron and Draco had been waiting for ever since Bill's. . .

"Draco . . . our letters came. We're going to Hogwarts!"
