Speed Hunt

Agnostik pull out his small, Bryar pistol and shot the thermal detonator that was flying at him. The thermal exploded causing debris and shrapnel to drift out and pelt Agnostik's skin. Smoke and debris littered the white halls and corridors as explosions burst throughout the entire facility. Agnostik would not miss his prey, not this time. For he was a Bounty Hunter, trained to capture (and kill if need be) his prey and returning for his pay. Another burst sent the Zabrak flying toward his right, again pelting him with broken glass and ships of rock from the structure. Getting up quickly, Agnostik holstered his pistol and pull his rifle that he had slung over his back. Crouching down and searching through the smoke, Agnostik spotted two Rodians fleeing out a side balcony. Running to catch them, Agnostik used extreme caution while approaching the next turn, spinning to point his rifle at the openings in case another of the smuggler gangsters attempted a thermal toss. The explosions finally stopped and the smoke was clearing quickly. Finally making it to the opening, Agnostik saw the two Rodians speeding off in there swoops. One speeder was left behind. Agnostik took it and sped after them. Sand and mud splashed into the air, making it difficult to see the track ahead and even more difficult to watch for the Rodians. Sand hit his face and into his eye, making the hunt even more uncomfortable. Using his intuition, Agnostik fed the thrusters more power, accelerating him. He was now side by side to one of the Rodians. The other was left slightly behind. The one in the back began to fire from his swoop gun hoping to hit their attacker, but missing. The Rodian on Agnostik's right slowed the speeder, letting the hunter speed off in front and then continued to fire. Making sharp turns and rapidly accelerating and decelerating did not seem to shake off the Rodians. They could have escaped but it seemed they wanted to rid themselves of their attacker. Brave, but stupid, Agnostik thought. Since there was no way out of this, Agnostik turned on his holocam, recording everything he saw. Then, gripping the wheel of the speeder with one hand, he steeped up to the seat. He pulled out two detonator pins from his satchel and placed one in his hand on the wheel and kept one in the other. The next thing he did was truly daring. He jumped from his seat straight into the air, his feet starting to flip him upward to where his head was pointing straight down to the rugged ground below. He outstretched his hands and slapped the detonator pins on the Rodians clothing as they swiftly past. The impact nearly knocked the Rodians off the swoop, not to mention breaking both of Agnostik's arms. As the hunt fell to the ground and rolled, he pulled a detonation device from his satchel and turned to get a good view of the Rodians. He waited to they were a little closer to make out there faces so that his employer would not get skeptical, and pressed the device. The two swoops, Rodian and all, exploded with immense force. The fire created from the explosion graphing themselves together from each swoop to create a mass of hellish fire. The remaining debris of the swoops flew past him like fireballs, slinging into the mud and splashing the dirt over it, extinguishing the fires. Agnostik stopped to take a good look at the debris, then he turned off his holocam and shifted his rifle back on his back. His employer, some weapon marketer, had paid him to get rid of a duo of Rodians that went by the names of Eedno and Oneedo. The two had supposedly stolen some of his swoops. Returning to collect his fee, Agnostik was cursed for the trashing of the man's swoops, but the hunter insisted that nothing in the job description told him to keep the swoops safe. Forcing the individual to pay, the hunter returned to his ship where he used some of his pay to fuel the ship and launch. THE END
