A small chapel.
Somewhere in Virginia
"You may now kiss the bride."
Harm and Mac looked at Chaplain Turner with gratitude, then turned to each other. This kiss was slow but sweet, a promise of sorts. As they pulled apart, the sounds that filled the church began to filter back to their consciousness. They could hear the clapping and whistling that was drowning out the recessional music. They walked to the back of the church, receiving congratulations form well wishers.
"And you thought I would be late."
"I wasn't late." At his look of doubt, she continued, "Well maybe, but it wasn't my fault! The limo was late! And there was traffic!"
"Uh huh."
"Are you guys ready? They are waiting for you outside." Chloe said.
Smiling, Harm took Mac's hand and looped it through his arm. "Shall we Mrs. Rabb?"
"Certainly Mr. Rabb."
They walked out amid cheers and confetti. As they approached, the honour guard raised the arch of swords. Harm stopped them at the end of the Arch and took his new wife into his arms and gave her a heart-stopping kiss. Cheers went up again and as they walked away from the arch, a thwap and a "Semper Fi" were heard.
"Hey! I wasn't late!"
"I know but she pays really well." Sturgis snickered.
Sorry about the time mix-up in the last post. Mac was only supposed to be 3 minutes late, not two hours and three minutes. I hoped you enjoyed! ~imablucdn
