Saitou and the Can of Surge

It was a lovely afternoon in August. Birds were chirping, little girls were giggling, and the sun was shinning brightly. That's how it was at the Kamiya Dojo. It was peaceful...sort of.

Everybody was doing their regular things. Kenshin was doing the laundry under the sun while Ayame and Suzume played with their ball, giggling joyfully. Kaoru gave Yahiko his lessons outside since it was such a nice day. Megumi had brought over some ohagi that she had made, and was busy talking with Sano, who just listened to her while chewing on a fishbone. Yes, everything was perfect.

But then Tae and Tsubame came up to the dojo with something they got at the Akabeko. "Kaoru, I got something here for you." Tae said, putting the item in Kaoru's left hand. The item was a small, green can that she hadn't seen before in her life.

Kaoru looked at the can and asked, "What is this?"

Tae looked at Kaoru and said, "I really don't know."

Just then two more figures came into the dojo, mega-hyper Misao and quiet, serious Aoshi.

Misao ran up to Kaoru and saw the can in her hand and yelled, "Hey, another can of Surge!"

Kenshin looked at Misao and said, "Oro? A can of Surge?"

Aoshi looked at him and said, "Yeah, it makes people all hyper. Misao tried one."

Megumi looked at Misao's hyper face and said, "I can see that it worked."

Aoshi laughed and said, "No, she's always like that. It only works for really serious people."

"Well, then who's gonna try the Surge?" Sano asked. Everybody's head's turned towards Aoshi, and he shook his head. Then yet another pissed off figure walked into the dojo.

"What the hell are you freaks doing?" The figure yelled. All the others stared at the figure.

Sano grabbed the can from Kaoru, opened it up (with some difficulty), and gave the can to the figure. "Drink up Saitou, you baka yaro!" Sano yelled.

Saitou looked at the can, then at Sano, then at Kenshin, then Kaoru, then back at the can. He took a drink and chugged all the Surge down in five seconds and didn't look so pissed after that.

Kenshin stared in fear at Saitou, muttered an "Oro?", and asked, "Saitou, are you all right?"

Saitou ran up to Kenshin, grabbed his shoulders, shook him hard, and screamed, "I LOVE THAT!!! GIMME MORE!!! MORE!!! MORE MORE MORE!!!" Then Saitou began shaking Kenshin harder.

Kenshin's eyes went wide with fear as Saitou ran through the entire dojo, hyper and searching for more Surge. Everybody ran after him to stop him from ruining the dojo, but they unfortunately couldn't catch him.

Just when everybody was about to give up, one of the most unexpected things happened. Saitou ran into a tree and went unconscious. As Sano and Aoshi tied Saitou to the ground with a rope, Yahiko turned to Tsubame and said, "Damn, he's gonna have one hell of a headache when he wakes up."

The next day, Saitou woke up and was normal. Kenshin, Kaoru, Sano, and Yahiko then decided to untie him and let him go. But right after they untied him, Tae came by with a two liter bottle of Surge. Saitou chugged it down and ran hyper through the Kamiya Dojo...again.
