It may have seemed like nothing
Or, perhaps, everything
Maybe you don't remember what happened
But I remember it like it was yesterday…
Do you know that I would have
Given my life for your return that day?
Do you remember the kiss?
For once, you hadn't hit me…
Of course, you DID hit me when we got back to the planet…
I should have expected that it wouldn't be so simple!
