A Moment of Silence

CHAPTER ONE
"Jak, let's go back!" Daxter, a small ottsel, complained. Jak ignored his best friends voice and continued on walking into the darkness.
Daxter always hated Forbidden Forest. He can't stand the snakes and freaky looking creatures.
"Damn it, Jak! Come on! Mister old green stuff would be pissed off at us." Daxter said, pounding hard on Jak's shoulder.
Jak gave a tiny flinch of pain by the pounding of Daxter's fists. He pulled Daxter off his shoulder and placed him on the ground. Daxter gave out a miserable moan.
The two of them heard a small childish laughter. Jak stopped dead in his tracks to listen for more.
"What one earth was that?!" Daxter yelled in such a worried voice, "That didn't sound like you!"
Daxter looked at Jak. Jak looked back, shaking his head. Daxter knew it wasn't him.
"You two want to play?" the child voice said again, "I'm very lonely. I need some company."
Daxter's body was filled with fright. He climbed up quickly to Jak's shoulder, shivering with fear. Jak stayed in his spot with suspicious eyes looking around the area.
"Please don't hurt me!" the voice squeaked, "I won't hurt you!"
Daxter gave out a fearful cry, squeezing Jak's shoulder. As soon as Daxter turned his head back, he saw a white figure.
"AAHH!!! What the hell was that?!" Daxter shrieked, pointing at the spot. The figure ran away. "HEY! COME BACK HERE, YOU!" he yelled.
Then Jak saw the figure. The Figure ran inside deeper into the forest. Jak chased it.
"This is not a very good idea!" Daxter said. Jak ran faster and faster, trying to keep up.
Through all the trees and bushes Jak and Daxter passed by, they found themselves in a different area. They were at a cliff. In the horizon were a large kingdom and a beautiful sunset.
They are at a different world.
