This story is about a policeman and how he leaves his two children with his brother, an inn keeper, when the oldest is 4 and the youngest 1. But one day the brother takes things too far and tells one of the children the truth. The child runs away, never to be seen again. Isn't that the way it's suppost to go? Well seven years later he sees his sister. But he doesn't recognize her, infact it is the complete opposite. But love and war rip the worlds of these two siblings apart. The boys sister dies in the arms of her fiancée one day on the battle field. And her brother wanders alone until he finds the answer he's been looking for. But, alas, all is already lost.
