Zanarkand
A land that was possibly destroyed about 1,000 years ago by sin, It is the place where Tidus grew up. Zanarkand is filled with tall cramped buildings and glowing lights in all of them. It is the place where Tidus starts out, and then he is transported to the new world...Spira. Also Zanarkand is the home of the Zanarkand Abes, and has the star player Tidus. It is said that the entire city was destroyed by Sin, but nobody is completely sure. They also play Blitzball here, but they don't only do that as an entertainment. It is a legend, that the whole city was worked and runned by machina, and that is how sin was made. And the reason it was made was that everyone would just sit around and play and let all the machina do the work. And that is the legend of how sin is born. Also there is a Zanarkand in Spira, but it is quite different from this one, even though some people think that it is the same one, nobody knows the real truth...Not even Tidus. Zanarkand is a large city and nobody knows when it was created
