Chapter I
Fox McCloud woke to find him self in the Great Fox. His father, James McCloud, Must have taken him on board while he was sleeping. Well what's done is done and now Fox is flying through the Lylat System in the Great Fox.
The Star Fox Team (James, Peppy and Pigma) was found looking at a map. Unknown to Fox they were on a mission, a mission to locate life of one of the asteroids in the asteroid belt. This asteroid turned out not to be a normal asteroid, it was found to be a planet, a very small planet. People supposedly found life there, but others are not quite sure.
So off the Star Fox Team went, flying through the Lylat System to get to the planet. No one was aware of the dangers that lied ahead. Creatures unimaginable. The planet was coming close, and Fox was not prepared to jump out once they got there
"Get ready son, we are almost there." James said in a stern voice.
So Fox got up and put on his gear. They started to fly in to a desert area, but as they got closer they saw a swamp like area. The grass was four feet tall and the flowers were six feet. This was a very strange planet. The four began to walk, when Fox heard a noise. It was a rustling sound. Coming from in the grass. The grass was shaking and strange hissing sounds were coming from it.
"Dad!" Fox said in a loud shout.
But he was gone, same with Peppy and Pigma. It was like they had vanished in to thin air.
"Dad!" Fox yelled out in a frightened shout. "Dad where are you!"
The rustling in the grass was getting louder, the hissing sounded right next to him. In fright, Fox ran. But he didn't get far something had grabbed his leg. He turned around to see what had happened. But it was nothing had grabbed him. It was just a plant wrapped around his leg. But that didn't explain the rustling in the grass. Suddenly, out of the blue, a cat like creature pounced on Fox. The creature was a half second away from ripping at Fox's throat when James shot it away with his blaster.
"Are you all right?" James said with a worried look.
Fox responded with "Yeah, just a little shaken up."
"We have to get out of here. There are strange things here."
"Well being attacked by a cat creature sure proves that. By the way where did you go?"
"I saw something and wanted to take a closer look. I than heard you yelling for me. If I had gotten here any later you would have been that things dinner."
They went in to the ship to take off but weren't able to. The ship didn't start.
