Harry woke up on the morning of September 1st at 7.30. He was looking forward to going back to school to start his 5th year, but most of all he was looking forward to seeing Hermione. During the summer, they had both gone to visit Ron. They had gone to see the Quidditch Euro cup qualifying rounds. England had done rather well, beating France 250 to 10.teh highlight was the fact that Harry and Hermione had become extremely good friends, closer than they had ever been and Harry was hoping that this year would be the year when he and Hermione finally fell in love. Harry stood on the cold platform at Kings Cross. It was raining and he felt really miserable, as Hermione had not arrived on platform 9 ¾. The only thing that was keeping him going was the fact that Hermione was coming. Then Hermione appeared through the barrier, and his day suddenly brightened up. They spent until 10:45 chatting under a shelter that Hermione had suddenly whipped up out of nowhere. "Come on Harry. We better get on the train. We wouldn't want to be stranded here would we?" She giggled at the thought of being left alone with Harry. They could get up to all sorts. They got on the train and played exploding snap with Ron. Ron had joined them in their compartment even though they just wanted to be alone. At 1:00 the lady with the food trolley came round. Harry and Hermione were really hungry so Harry bought the whole lot and he shared it with Hermione. They kept looking at each other, and in the end Ron looked so sick he wandered off to join Ginny. At the end of the journey, Harry was really happy to be back, and he looked at Hermione and she looked at him. Sparks flew and they kissed and kissed. They heard some one coming, and it was Ron. He hadn't seen but they looked embarrassed all the same.
