Notes: This came from a sad event from my life Enjoy

Nick Knight Stood there beneath the full moon light. He was thinking about her again. The blond vampire always thought about her this time of year. To remember her. To remember how he failed her that night so many years ago. He failed because he was afraid of his feelings, afraid to let himself love her.

Sleep Eden sleep

My fallen son

Slumber in peace

Nick closed his sad blue eyes as he stood at his beloved's grave. He found out to late of her deep love towards him and his love towards her. A hot red blood tear rolled down the 800 year old vampire's cold pale cheek. She at least was at peace while he lived on in an empty life. His Natalie was no longer in pain. As he lived his life in vain. For him there is no comfort only pain.

Cease the pain

Life just in vain

For us to gain

Nothing all the same

Damn it all! He loved her! And without her, there would be no cure. No mortality for him, no salvation, no way out. More tears rolled down his cheeks as he remembered how his sire scorned him because Nick loved a mortal.

No healing hand

For your disease

Drinking in scorn like water

Cascading with my tears

Beneath the Candle bed

Two saddened angeles-in heaven, in death.

Nick laid down on top of her grave. His pride and selfishness brought her to death, brought her to pain. Yet she never blamed him. Why? Why did she love him so?

Now Let us lie

Sad we live sad we die

Even in your pride

I never blamed you

A mother's love

Is a sacrifice

Together sleeping

Keeping it all

He was going to be with her now. He found the courage in her light and love. Nick had faith that he would be with her in death. Finally and at last.. He had one last hurdle to get over. As the sun rose, Nick felt his body begin to smoke and smolder. The pain would be over soon and he would be free with his love, his Natalie.

No sympathy

No eternity

One light for each undeserved tear

Beneath the candle bed

Two souls with everything yet to be said.
