THE LOST PLANET
CHAPTER 1
Winter had become fierce for the Mynican people. Their planet was normally a peaceful place filled with sunlight, music and beauty. Now it was cold, wet, and empty. The once filled streets were empty of their tourists, and even some of the native inhabitants were leaving. All of the richer families were moving to other worlds, or to the space station. Mynica was in ruin. After many prosperous years under the rule of Gregor Kylina, the small planet began to be noticed as a threat to trade, by some intergalactic spice and silk traders. The traders hired space pirates to go down to the planet, and destroy it. The pirates burned buildings, stole all the government's money, took people as slaves, and killed the king. Many years later the planet was still desperately trying to recover, but without hope. As the winter years set in, the people noticed that the winter was becoming colder, and that they were going out of orbit of their sun. Soon the planet had left it's solar system all together, and had disappeared.
