Harry and Ron opened the door into the girl's dormitory in the Gryffindor Tower. "Guys, get out- you're not supposed to be in here!" said an annoyed Lavender Brown. "What WAS that scream?" asked Ron, "it sounded. painful!" "Oh don't worry about that, you'll find out in a little while!" "Um, okay, if you say so!" and with that, Harry and Ron walked out of the bedroom, shooting curious looks over to the closed bathroom door, where the scream had came from.

"Guys, are you ready yet? The Yule ball will start without us if you don't hurry up!" yelled Ron up the stairs. Basically all of the people in Harry's dormitory were waiting at the bottom of the stairs of the dormitories, the others having left a while ago. First down the stairs was Parvati Patil, who linked arms with Dean and walked out of the common room. "See you guys there!" Next to come was Lavender, who followed Parvati Patil's lead, and linked arms with Ron, who was gaping at her, not being able to realise his luck. Harry as therefore left by himself at the bottom of the stairs, but only for a little while. Hermione stood at the top of the stairs, looking down on to Harry Potter, her date for the Yule ball. She was wearing a sapphire blue dress, with an antique silver clip holding p her hair, one curl having escaped. Apart from all of these things, there was one major difference. "You got your ears pierced! So that was the scream! Ron and I thought someone had gotten murdered or something. Oh, and by the way, you look amazing!"
"So do you! But I suppose we should get going, Mr Head Boy of Hogwarts!" "I suppose we should, Miss Head Girl of Hogwarts!" and with that they both laughed, and headed down to the Great hall, where they were to open the ball with the first dance.
A/N: As you can see, the chapters are getting longer and longer- so sorry about the first one! Oh yeah, and the idea will get more and more original too! (I hope)
