This is my first fic, so please be gentle ^^ This poem portrays Icarus' legendary flight as he escaped with his father from the island they were imprisoned on. Find me

I'm falling

Telling myself it's flight

Imperfect

I plummet

And ponder

Pushed away in denial



Escaping

From reality

I chase my dreams aflight

Seeking

For answers

I seek the glorious light



Forfeit

My future

For feelings of far betweens

Desperate

For life

The ends justify the means



So if you

Should find me

Lifeless on the ground

Dig my grave

And weep

My soul shall never be found
