It was a beautiful day, and everyone in the Ham-Ham Clubhouse was happy and content. Except for one.

Pashmina sat at the window, and sighed, as she looked at the trees gently blow in the wind. It was her birthday, and no one had remembered. Even Penelope had forgotten the special day. Pashmina was heartbroken, and no one cared.

While Pashmina was lost in her own little world of misery, the Ham-Hams were pitter pattering around the clubhouse, attempting to plan a party without Pashmina noticing. They were doing a very bad job of it too.

"What are we gonna do 'bout this cake?" Howdy called out across the room to Boss. "HUSH!" Boss had suddenly greatly grown in size, and was towering over the poor hamster. "DO YOU WANT PASHIMINA TO FIND OUT?!?!?!" Poor Howdy muttered something incoherently about Boss's temper, but was quickly silenced by the glare he received from Bijou. "Guys?" Pashmina's voice broke through all the chatter. "I'm going for a walk." The Ham-Hams exchanged worried looks. "Why don't you meet us at ze Ham-Ham Theme Park after?" Bijou quickly suggested. "Whatever." And with that elegant parting remark, Pashmina stormed out of the Ham-Ham clubhouse, slamming the door behind her. All the Ham-Hams knew they had to work quickly. For once, there was complete silence in the clubhouse.

As Pashmina walked on, the more she thought about what she said. Maybe she was a little too harsh… should she apologize? She stopped abruptly, and instantly knew what she must do. Turning towards the park, she started to run. Budda, Budda, Budda.

To her surprise, the park was deserted. Pashmina wandered around the rollercoasters, searching for any sign of her friends. "SURPISE!" Pashmina jumped into three meters into the air as streamers and little pieces of cafetti rained down on her. All her friends surrounded her. "FOR SHE'S A JOLLY GOOD HAM-HAM, FOR SHE'S A JOLLY GOOD HAM-HAM…" Tears welled in her eyes. She was a fool to think that her friends would forget her birthday. All the Ham-Hams presented her with a beautiful cake, with yogurt icing, and carrots, alfalfa and celery decorated the top. "I don't know what to say… All of you can eat some." This was what the Ham-Hams wanted to hear. They all instantly attacking the cake and began to chew. Pashmina stood at the side, watching her friends eat. They were the best. "Psst." A voice whispered from the shadows. "I have a present for you." A paw was extended, and it clutched a single rose. Pashmina gasped. This was no ordinary rose. It was pink. It must have taken months to get it this color. She gently took the rose, and the paw was hastily withdrawn back within the shadows. "Who are you? Please tell me." The figure sighed, and slowly stepped from the shadows. The light reflected off of a… a… pair of glasses? "Dexter?!" Pashmina gasped in awe. Dexter stood in the light, nervously twisting his bow tie. "H-hello Pashmina. D-d-do you like my p-present?" Pashmina was touched. "Oh Dexter!" She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a kiss. When the pulled away, he was speechless.

"Thank-you Dexter."
