Sakura immediately froze in her tracks as she saw Shaoran's head roll across the street to her pink shoes, blood trailing across the street and forming a pool by her feet. Staring at the head with a gaping mouth, she couldn't move. All she could see was his head fly from his body, over and over again. All she could hear was the sound of flesh being removed from flesh, over and over again.
"SAKURA! FOCUS!" Kero screamed as metallic tentacles drove him into a nearby wall like a train.
The sound of Kero's tiny body splattering on brick more so than the scream finally broke Sakura's trance, but it was too late.
Metal tentacles liquefied and enveloped her body, filling every orifice.

Sakura woke up surrounded by white. Not normal white, but a haunting Stanley Kubrick movie set white. Sakura screamed once she realized she wasn't wearing clothes. She screamed louder when she realized she didn't even have a body to wear clothes with. Where the hell am I, she thought.
Before her young mind could even consider where she was her white surroundings tore open like fabric, revealing an abyss-like black behind it. Eventually the white dissolved, leaving her lying on what felt like a floor. Suddenly spotlights came on. She was completely naked, and surrounded by people she didn't recognize. For some reason they were clapping, and the applause was killing her. Every single clap was like a drill into her brain. She shriek and they all melted to form a flesh-colored blob creature. Its wailing was even worse than the clapping. She could feel the warm blood flowing from everywhere all over her. She nearly choked as it oozed out of her mouth, the horrible metallic taste causing her to grimace. Eventually her world became a sea of red.

Sakura woke again. She was in the pink frilly battle costume she remembered so well, with the old familiar staff in hand. The stains from Tomoyo's dismemberment were gone. The blood on her shoes from Shaoran's decapitation was also gone. Mei-Lin's charred corpse was not even a memory anymore. The very idea that Kero is nothing more than a stain on a wall had left her mind. She felt victorious, for in her other hand was every single card that her own curiosity caused to get misplaced. Except one. She then turned to see a pedestal, with the last card standing up on it. All she had to do was grab the card that cost her friends their lives and perform her usual ritualistic chant to claim it. As she reached out, her hands disappeared, causing the staff and the cards fell from her hands. Sakura fell to the floor and wept in frustration. Minutes later she stood up to look at the name of the card that was that was causing her so much trouble: Irony.
