"I had a wonderful time, I'm glad you came." Sonny told his sister, after they had dinner at Kelly's.

"Me too," She genuinely meant it. It had actually felt like she had been bonding with him. He smiled that irresistible smile of his and handed her coat to her.

"Thanks," She was about to say more when she suddenly got a dizzy spell and collapsed into Sonny's arms.

Not knowing what to do, he laid her down on the floor, cradling her head in his arms. Elizabeth ran over and crouched down, waving some smelling salts under her nose. Courtney's eyelids fluttered open and she softly whimpered.

"What happened?" She asked, sitting herself up.

"You passed out." He told her, helping her onto her feet.

"I guess I just got a little dizzy." She mumbled, embarrassed that everyone in Kelly's was gawking at her.

"Come on, I'm taking you to the hospital."

"No, I'm fine." She protested.

"Passing out is not fine, come on." He insisted.

Having no strength to argue with him she let him lead her out the door.

"So doctor what causes Courtney to faint?" Sonny asked the doctor once all the tests were done.

"Well it seems that Mrs. Quartermaine is pregnant, congratulations." The doctor beamed at her.

She blinked rapidly and tried to process this information. "I'm what?"

"Pregnant." The doctor confirmed.

"Are you—are you sure?" Sonny demanded.

"The test came back positive, congratulations again."

"Thank you, now we would like a moment alone." Sonny told the doctor and he left.

"Courtney, are you alright?" He asked her.

"How can I be--?" She started crying.

Slightly confused at her reaction he prodded. "Why aren't you happy about this?"

"I caught AJ in bed with another woman, and I kicked him out. We're getting a divorce." She said through her tears.

He was stunned, disgusted and burning with fury all at once.

"Sonny please, don't go after him and make this worse," She begged, knowing what he was thinking.

"Come on, I'm taking you home." He helped her up from the chair and they walked out of the hospital in silence.

"Goodnight, remember, just call me if you need anything." Sonny stood at her front door.

"I'll be fine, I'm a big girl." She reassured him.

"Okay," He kissed her on the cheek and turned to leave.

"Sonny?" She called.

"Hmmm?"

"Please don't do or say anything until I've figured out how to deal with this okay?"

Sonny just smiled.

"Please, promise me."

"I promise," He told her.

"Thanks, night." She closed the door.

When he got into the limo he decided he couldn't go home all worked up like this. "Take me to Lukes"

He sat down on a barstool at Lukes. "Bourbon," He told the waiter.

Hours and glasses later he decided to go home. He got up and almost fell over but grabbed onto the counter to balance himself. He stumbled to the limo and passed out in the back seat as he was driven home.

"Mr. Corinthos, we're here." His driver shook him.

"Leavemealone—" His words were slurred together.

Somehow he managed to get upstairs, only falling once. As soon as he stumbled in the door Carly started yelling.

"Where the hell have you been?" She demanded. "It's 2 in the freaking morning!"

Her voice sounded like nails on a blackboard to his sensitive ears.

"Well?" She asked.

"Well what?"

"Where have you— have you been drinking?" She cut herself off.

"No," He said simply.

She leaned towards him and his breath reeked of alcohol.

"How much did you have to drink?"

He cringed at the volume of her voice.

"Answer me Sonny,"

"Stop," He begged weakly.

"Where have you been? Why didn't you call?" Her voice getting louder with each word.

When he didn't answer she pushed his chest to make him pay attention.

He couldn't take anymore. "Shut up!" He yelled as he slapped her.
