Death is coming...
Miles "Tails" Prower tapped his pencil on his notebook, waiting for school to end. His science teacher walked by and dropped a test on his table. "Well, Miles, another A+," he said as he handed other tests to other children.
Tails looked at his test to find his teacher was correct. Tails looked up at the clock, 2:59. He watched the small hand quickly approaching the 12 number. It hit, but the bell didn't ring.
'Strange,' Tails thought to himself. Suddenly, a strange voice entered his mind.
'The greatest student shall die first...' it said in an eerie voice. '10 minutes past 3, they will perish after saying no to a friend...' the voice echoed a little before it faded out.
Tails scratched his head. He thought he was hearing things and that the bell probably didn't work for a minute, so he ignored it.
A minute later, the bell rang. Tails packed his supplies and walked from the classroom. Once he left, he heard something else from the eerie voice.
'Death is coming...'
Tails started to sweat. He wasn't sure why but it just started falling from his forehead. He walked down the street looking at his watch, 3:08. He then bumped into someone. "Whoa!"
"Hey, its ok, Tails," said a friendly voice.
"Hi Sonic" Tails said.
"You wanna come to my place and study?" Sonic asked.
Tails shook his head. "No thanks."
"Alright, see ya later!" Sonic said as he dashed off.
Tails gave a small wave before he turned and began to walk across the street. He heard a loud screech and turned. Before he could do anything, a car hit him with incredible force.
He fell to the ground. He then mumbled, "So...Nic...." then all his vision went black.
