You brake through my mask,
You brake through my barriers,
How can you do this?
How come I can't hate you?
You smile at me,
I can't help but smile back.
You talk about your life,
I listen intently.
Your so free,
I want to be like you.
You don't know what you do to me,
I will never tell you.
If you were to know,
I'd be to vulerable.
You would reject me,
I would feel the pain.
You would frown,
I'd feel the shame.
You would be silent,
I would shrivel.
You back away,
The walls would come back.
I'm better off the way I am.
No pain this way.
Nothing this way.
