~ALL THE LONELY PEOPLE~!
Seifer Almasy had a hole in his heart.
The big kind. Like the kind you get from a knife. A big knife. The kind you get when a butcher knife jams itself through your heart and stabs, and stabs, and stabs.
And then it delves deeper, twists. Twists and lifts you off your feet, blood spewing out from the gaping hole and the twisting. It hurts.
And it doesn't get at anything else. It's like a carefully planted butcher knife. A secret butcher knife. And everytime you move it goes deeper.
And people they stare and whisper. And they try to make you move but it only hurts more. They don't know and they don't care to ask.
And it'll never go away.

~This is for all the lonely people
thinking that life has passed them by
Don't give up
until you drink from the silver cup
And ride that highway in the sky~

Squall stood.
He'd finally found him. He'd finally found him and he was standing right behind him.
His heart was pounding a mile a minute. Afraid to say something wrong. Afraid he'd leave again. Afraid he'd just not notice, just...not care.
Was it him?
'I'll never be sure at this rate'
Did he even know he was there?
Squall stood with all these thoughts racing through his head. He cleared his throat.
He felt it before it actually happened, before he saw it. Seifer jumped.
Hadn't he known he was there?
He pulled back a fluttering wisp of raven black hair. What should he say?
Now that he's made a big entrance.
Squall snorted.
Seifer quickly hid his startled expression, furrowing his brow in anger, "If that's all you came here to say..."
The silence was broken. It took a while for his words to sink in, "Seifer..."
Squall mentally smacked himself. Is that the best he could come up with?
He was still kind of surprised that Seifer had spoken first. He had had a whole speach worked out in his head, but as soon as he caught sight of his shapely figure, it flew right out one ear and landed in the ocean.
"Who?"
That confused Squall, "Seifer?"
"I don't know who you're talking about," Seifer growled, staring icily...not at Squall, but through him, past his head, to the horizon. The sun was setting, "You mean that Sorceress whore bastard?"
